TY for this info. I have been buying the heat vent magnetic sheets from Lowe's and Home Depot. They are 8x15 and you can cut them 5x7 and get 3 per sheet and there is three sheets in each package for $5 so you can get 15 5x7's out of them and I always use my cereal boxes and stuff for the backing or chipboard. I love the washi tape idea. Going to view that video now. Thanks
Yes, Tammy, others have stated they use the same thing. I have yet to look into these but the next time I'm in the store will check it out. Thanks for sharing. Blessings....
I love adding the washi tape edge. Thanks for the great idea! I’m going to have to incorporate that to my system. I wanted to share how I store my dies with you as well. I store mine in binders like these but I’ve found I’ve had the absolute best no fail luck with using 60mil 8x10 sheets magnetic sheets I order from Amazon. They do cost a bit more then the 20 mil ones but are well worth it because they HOLD ALL your dies with no issues. Including the heavy foil press dies and no I no longer need to add any other chipboard backing either. I also like the fact that the other side of the magnet sheet is adhesived already so I can cut my pretty papers to coordinate. I often cut a sample Die of each one stored on that page or of something I made using those dies on back with the pretty paper. Great to reference exactly what the dies look & cut like. I get the 60mil 8x10 sheets in a bulk bundle of 100 to save money. Even though they may seem a bit pricy they are the best I’ve found and I haven’t found a Die they don’t hold super super well. Seriously I’ve found them even better then the premium packaged brand name ones and cost far less then them as well. Hope this helps! God Bless. I’ll try and send you a pic if your interested.
This has been so informative. I am in the midst of organizing my craft room and bought the Crafters Companion binder and magnetic sheets. Unfortunately, the sheets stick to each other, consequently the dies fall off when you turn the page. After watching your video I decided to buy the chipboard and page protectors. In the future I will be buying the magnetic sheets for all of my other organization. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for this info. I have gotten some magnet sheets in the past from Amazon that fit the Art Bin, which I also got from Amazon, have 3 storage bins now filled with my dies. After initial purchases from Amazon, I bought magnetic register covers at Lowes at good prices and cut those to size for my storage bins. The Amazon price you reference for a pack of 25 is phenomenal however; will definitely grab those up!!
Thanks for your original idea. I use it for all my dies. However I ONLY use Marietta Magnet sheets. They are stronger and better quality for sure. Thanks for your work Felicia.
Thank you so ucc for doing the research. I lucked up the other day and found several of the magnetic locker sheets. One only had one sheet in it but that was all they had. That day I went to several and they had none. I will continue to look but in the meantime I can buy some of these.
Hi Felicia, It's so funny I just received the 25 pack of magnets this week. The price has already gone up 2 dollars since I bought them. I also got a 25 pack of 12 x 12inch chipboard for a great price. Thank you for your tutorials, they are very helpful.
I love them all my dear u are very creative as always I'm proud of u.please do the video I will be waiting thumbs up my friend I like that it didn't fall I like keep it up
Greetings, The thinner cross dies are by spellbinders except for the thinner darker die which is by Darice. The heavier die is a hot foil die used with the GoPress and Foil machine. I shared several videos using these types of plates. Blessings....
Hii there! I realize you made this video 3 1/2 yrs ago. Are the magnetic sheets still working well for you? I am planning on adhering them to to a wood panel about 4x4ft size. So thought I would check and see if you're still happy with the product. You are very informative! I appreciate it. Thank you!
You should mention the sellers. Each seller's product is not made equal. I see in your video the seller was Marietta Magnetics, but the links have different sellers which may not have the same quality. Amazon just features the seller who has the current lowest price
Greetings, I shared this comparison so viewers can make an informed decision. When I purchased my sheets they were sold by the same seller but I have noticed that Amazon changes sellers at times and this could be the case with this item. Blessings...
Thanks for the time in showing all the different variations. I ordered from Amazon thru your link.
In all the excitement you didn't say how much. Thanks for sharing. This will help.
Hello. I can't say the prices because they do change but the links are below. Thanks for watching. Blessings...
Thank you Felicia, I am loving this storage system in the album. Ordered from Amazon yesterday. Keep the ideas coming.
So glad you were able to get some Patricia. And I will do my best to keep the ideas coming. Blessings...
