Tom is a drunk mess and sounds like shit and you can definitely see Mark is annoyed just by the look on his face. Some of the shit Tom does is real shit, and I think Mark thinks that Tom really doesn't care, which obviously led to the 2nd break up.

I just saw their Epicenter Festival 2010 performance and Tom just goofs off and forgets the lyrics in First Date while Mark shakes his head. It really sucks that Mark and Travis were really enthusiastic about blink and Tom treated it like a joke at that point. In fact, in a recent interview he was saying blink wasn't a priority to him and he needed to do his "other forms of art". That's really fucking unfair to leave Mark and Travis waiting while he treats blink like a past-time where he gets wasted. Seeing this stuff makes me really excited for blink+Skiba. I could see some really inspired stuff coming out of that.

He sounded so much better with the Mesa Amps.. I hate that he switched to Vox..not sure if thats the reason why his guitar sounds like pure dog shit when he plays live now, but if you watch the video of him at Reading in 2014..it sounded so bad.. Worse than a cheap solid state practice amp.
vincent cappello Mesa's are high gain amps, Vox are not. Imo all around Vox are better amp but you shouldnt be trying to run a vox as hot to make it sound like mesa. Completely different sound. For old blink songs mesas sound better because that's what was on the album (or another high gain amp like it).
Andrew Utz Vincent Capello The main problem is that tom doesn't mike his amp anymore, he takes the signal direct from the amp output so he avoids "guitar leak" in the drums microphones, but this is a bad move because he skips the valve process in the amp, the warmth it gives to the signal. So that;s why it sounds so weak, without no low-end nowadays. Both are amazing amps, they could work amazing with a lot of genres, but the main reason why tom's sound is so flat, or weak, is because he takes the signal directly out of the amps. Doug, his manager, has a video about it.

高1の頃から大好きでした。まだ日本じゃあまり有名じゃなかったけど(汗)
ファンになってからなかなか日本に来てくれなくてやっと最初にライブ行けたのは大学1年の時にLAへ旅行に行った際に初ブリンク。
そして次がこのサマソニでこの時マーク側の1番前で観てました。
ダイブだらけで頭を何度も蹴られて大変だったけどやっぱりブリンクのライブは最高!
ちなみにこの時代のサマソニはポップパンクやメロコア好きにはたまらない時代だったよなぁ。
そして翌年の単独公演も東京のは全部行きました。
もっと日本に来てくれてたら良かったのになぁ。
私も今は30代後半・・・結婚して親になりだいぶ落ち着いてしまったけど、やっぱりブリンクとか聴くとまだまだパンクキッズ(笑)だった頃の血が騒ぐ(*´ω`*)
息子もあと2年で中学生だし、一緒にライブで暴れたいなぁ。
トラビスもマークもトムもいいおっちゃんになっちゃいましたねえ・・・
2003年にその場にいれたのは羨ましい限りです。
