2003 and 2004 was both best and worst year for Blink 182, they had a arguably the best album in their carreer up to that point, and the worst was the endless tour made them exhausted especially Tom and it created fracture in their relationship. This is the beginning of couple of phases they had to go through as a band until they becoming what they are now, honestly is amazing to witness all of those eras. I wish someday they can make a documentary about their journey it'll be awesome.

I don't know of any other well known obvious videos of the 2 of them from this time but if you watch some of their videos from the 2010-11 era. Tom is a drunk mess and sounds like shit and you can definitely see Mark is annoyed just by the look on his face. I remember watching some of their 2010 stuff and noticing Tom's trainwreck voice and Mark's calm demeanor. Not a good combo. I just saw their Epicenter Festival 2010 performance and Tom just goofs off and forgets the lyrics in First Date while Mark shakes his head. It really sucks that Mark and Travis were really enthusiastic about blink and Tom treated it like a joke at that point. In fact, in a recent interview he was saying blink wasn't a priority to him and he needed to do his "other forms of art". That's really fucking unfair to leave Mark and Travis waiting while he treats blink like a past-time where he gets wasted. Seeing this stuff makes me really excited for blink+Skiba. I could see some really inspired stuff coming out of that.

You know what? After watching this video 413634757 times I can make some points: 1. When Mark said: "Alright, let's go" (I dont know why people keep saying that he said "That's enough..." or something like this) Tom seemed to be a little bit confused, bit angry and a little bit disappointed. Why? Confused and disappointed because they used to be funny and speeches like this were normal stuff. They used to make a lot of sexist jokes, gay jokes, jokes. Angry? Shit, Tom is kind of authority. Tom's authority was undermined because of Mark's word that's why he was angry. His face says it all at 2:34: "Wow, okay. Whatever you say Mark..." I even kinda feel sorry for Tom. Look at his face at 2:45. It's not a "focus" face. He is mad as fuck. He was about to explode. 2. Mark thought that Tom is not angry. You can clearly see when Mark sings "Keep me waiting..." he try to catch Tom with his eyes and wait for Tom to sing "Keep me waiting..." as well (what he usually did at the concerts [search for Pepsi Smash Show]) but this time he didnt sing with Mark. That was quite sad to see. 3. I guess after this Mark said to Tom you can (barely, but can) see they were talking on stage. About 2:55 everyone including Travis look at each other so they were probably talking some shit to each other. I guess it was Mark saying Tom: "Dude, at least pretend now that you enjoy this". He did that because they didnt want to: a) fail the fans (crowd was goddamn amazing), b) look like this is kind of argument. If saying about b) I mean they didnt want the fans and the whole TV audience to see the tension. I bet after the show the backstage was fucking exploding with swears, cries and more. 4. In some later interviews Mark tried to explain himself. He said that he interrupted Tom because he said something that was not really cool in Japanese culture. I can't say. I dont know any Japaneses so I cant prove if its true or false. In my opinion thats some false shit. Say whatever you want but in my opinion Mark was just fed up with Tom. ATTENTION EVERY SINGLE WHORE WHO IS FANBOY CUZ HE KNOWS MISS YOU AND ALL THE SMALL THINGS AND DAMMIT AND THATS ALL. POINT 5 IS ONLY MY OPINION, NOT A FACT. IF YOU DONT WANT TO READ IT - JUST DONT DO IT. 5. It was all Mark's fault. He was acting like a total dick. Tom still was funny, at least he tried to be. Dude is funny, lovely, really nice and cool, good musician and songwriter but blaming only Tom for disintegration of Blink is something stupid. I guess I made my point. ファンになってからなかなか日本に来てくれなくてやっと最初にライブ行けたのは大学1年の時にLAへ旅行に行った際に初ブリンク。
そして次がこのサマソニでこの時マーク側の1番前で観てました。
ダイブだらけで頭を何度も蹴られて大変だったけどやっぱりブリンクのライブは最高！
ちなみにこの時代のサマソニはポップパンクやメロコア好きにはたまらない時代だったよなぁ。
そして翌年の単独公演も東京のは全部行きました。
もっと日本に来てくれてたら良かったのになぁ。
私も今は30代後半・・・結婚して親になりだいぶ落ち着いてしまったけど、やっぱりブリンクとか聴くとまだまだパンクキッズ(笑)だった頃の血が騒ぐ(*´ω`*)

2. Mark thought that Tom is not angry. You can clearly see when Mark sings "Keep me waiting..." he try to catch Tom with his eyes and wait for Tom to sing "Keep me waiting..." as well (what he usually did at the concerts [search for Pepsi Smash Show]) but this time he didnt sing with Mark. That was quite sad to see.
3. I guess after this Mark said to Tom you can (barely, but can) see they were talking on stage. About 2:55 everyone including Travis look at each other so they were probably talking some shit to each other. I guess it was Mark saying Tom: "Dude, at least pretend now that you enjoy this". He did that because they didnt want to:
a) fail the fans (crowd was goddamn amazing),
b) look like this is kind of argument.
If saying about b) I mean they didnt want the fans and the whole TV audience to see the tension. I bet after the show the backstage was fucking exploding with swears, cries and more.
4. In some later interviews Mark tried to explain himself. He said that he interrupted Tom because he said something that was not really cool in Japanese culture. I can't say. I dont know any Japaneses so I cant prove if its true or false. In my opinion thats some false shit. Say whatever you want but in my opinion Mark was just fed up with Tom.

5. It was all Mark's fault. He was acting like a total dick. Tom still was funny, at least he tried to be. After all what happened to him Mark should show some understanding but instead he kept insulting Tom and all the time tried to prove that whole this situation is Tom's and Box Car Racer's fault. I guess its not about it. Mark was jelaous about the stuff which Tom created on side. I guess at this point it was all about the money. Mark listened to Box Car Racer and thought: "Shit, this stuff is awesome". He knew that it will be something big and was mad cuz he was involved into only 1 song which he said: "Recorded because Tom was/is his friend and he asked him to do it". Bullshit. He couldnt back up his words in later shows. But I hope I'm wrong.
I love Mark. Dude is funny, lovely, really nice and cool, good musician and songwriter but blaming only Tom for disintegration of Blink is something stupid.
I guess I made my point.

Oh, and before I finish I would like to say that I miss this band and watching them behaving like fucking kids is just heartbreaking.
