WUM-1 serial number 1. First model brought to the US. First year of import. First serial number. The is the first and earliest Romanian AK in the US. This is not a parts kit build. This is 100% original. 100% numbers matching.
This gun came off the show room floor from the importer when they shut down.
Who was the importer ? If it was in the USA, it was imported by parts, tax free. Military surplus exports. 100% built in romania, just reassembled in america. Take a Look at century arms current catalog for example, they list like all but 1 of their Dracos as Romanian made, except the US made Draco, home made edition. The rest of the Dracos are marketed as Romanian imports, true! Made at Cugir factory. But they were assembled in Atlanta GA. Their business practice is secretive. Century Arms' Century International Arms; CIA; is their surplus parts military procurement and export import division, just for Century US @CommitteeCoffee
