The inventory expands massively if you include the ship to store option in the challenge, like you will have literally 5-10x more options. I worked there 2 years, 70~% of my helping customers was telling them that they didn't select in-store availability.

That's my point. The other guy built a slam fire shotgun, which is super cool, but the ammo didn't come from Home Depot. The blowgun could have been a nail firing zipgun using charges from the store, keeping better with the theme of the video.

A buddy and I had a physics project in highschool where we needed to build something that used some kind of physics math.
We built a fucking trebuche and launched bricks halfway across a football field using Home Depot materials and trash.
    Physics teacher loved it.
The vice principal and guidance counselor wanted to suspend us for bringing a weapon to school.
The principal and resource officer thought it was badass.
We didn't get suspended, but we are the reason that "siege weaponry" is not allowed in the science olympiad anymore.

I did a chemistry project where we had to demonstrate a chemical reaction. I made a bomb, a small one but still a bomb.
I didn't get into trouble from the teacher, he gave me an A+ for it (because i managed to make it a very "safe and controlled experiment"). one of my classmates snitched on me to the principle and I got suspended.
He wanted to suspend me but the science teacher (who was literally the most qualified teacher in that school, to the point that he's the principle now) wasn't having it.
Needless to say the snitch's reputation went down the drain.
Unless someone is getting hurt and even then only physically, don't snitch, especially in high school.

#1 the dart blowing gun can become better with tranquilizer dart, which maybe available at zoo or veterinary hospital
#2 the slingshot should have shorter string so it will stretch even more and bigger projectile have more kinetic energy
#3 the slam-fire shotgun can tighten the spread by making longer barrel and bigger pellet. Also add magnesium shaving (from fire starter) to the shell could turn it into incendiary or tracer (even stun the enemy without having to hit)

The "UA-cam friendly pipe" is plenty lethal. In fact, it might be the most lethal. It's literally just a gun. And the birdshot penetrated plenty deep to kill. May not be a quick death, but it would be lethal.
The dart just stabs you. Painful and bandaging would be recommended, but really only lethal if you're hit in the neck.
The slingshot, depending on ammo, may not even breach the skin. Human skin is a lot tougher than we give it credit for. Tough enough that there are plenty of scenarios where you break a bone, but your skin is intact. Sure, the slingshot will certainly bruise, but I'm willing to bet many forms of ammunition would do little more. The ballistic gel test is impressive, but that's always assuming skin penetration because it's usually used to test guns, which have no problem with that. Furthermore, when something passes straight through someone, the wound will bleed a lot and be painful. But, a straight through shot can be more survivable than if the projectile stopped inside the target.
The pipe, on the other hand, is definitely lethal. 1: It shoots bullets, little pellets we've perfected over decades to kill people. 2: As previously discussed, partial penetration can be more deadly than a shot going straight through. 3: The birdshot penetrated enough to cause heavy bleeding and would've shredded someone's intestines or stomach. 4: since there were several bits of shrapnel, it would take a long time to get it all out. During that time, it'd keep doing damage through lead poisoning and bleeding

I've made more lethal stuff out of littoral garbage. For example, my crossbow is made with a piece of a palette a random chunk of metal for the trigger and broken fiberglass markers shoved in a pvc pipe.

PVC has gone up massively, 12+ years ago i built several PVC bows (following the backyardbowyer on youtube), and if i remember correctly, a 10' segment was $1.75, now its over $12 for the same piece.

50 bucks at home depot can do alot more than that. Some springs, a bit of 14 guage sheet metal, some pipe, a piece if rebar, some rivets, and then I'm sure you get what I'm playing at. That's how alot of the weapons European countries used to fight the Germans got made. Also you aren't supposed to make the firing pin long or sharp. You want it just long enough to hit the primer and you want it to be blunt.

Imagination can build about anything. Money is not the problem its the fact that most people don't know what tools are for now a days. When i was a kid i built a sword from a leaf spring and a hammer using wood for my heat. It still has a fine edge and clears brush with minimum effort..

The reason your cases get stuck on the firing pin is because you left too much screw in there ,,,, the primer pocket is getting caught on the threads and sticking ,,,,, if you set the end cap on a table and fill it up with JB weld so that only 1/4 inch of the screw is exposed , it will stop sticking.
