Not just clear & precise diction, but the emotions & feeling he adds makes this his "one." Look how he "rolls"with the lyrics @ 1:24 "in the heat with a blue jeaned girl" is proof he's totally in the moment. I'd bet there isn't another band anywhere who can do this song so much justice. Epic performance!
The band we had in PA, approximately 9 years ago, played "Separate Ways". We played a benefit for a friend of my son, who was in a terrible accident. Our best compliment of the evening was "you guys play Journey better than Journey". We laughed but really felt good about that. I’m sure that’s the comment these guys get all the time. They are so good 😊! Thanks for another great song. 😎🤘
