Engine spec:
- genuine BWJ Cupra block (done 70k at the time and freshly honed)
- TSR forged rods and pistons (standard 82.5 bore) fully balanced before fitting
- ARP rod bolts
- ACL race bearings
- Has a balance shaft delete kit with new 1.8t oil pump and block modified to suit
- Head was fully rebuilt, skimmed, pressure tested, valves reseated with new stem seals
- Audi s3 CDL camshafts
- inlet manifold runner flap delete
- billet light weight single mass conversion flywheel with Sachs organic heavy duty clutch plate and cover
- Quaife ATB lsd diff
- APR front mount inter cooler
- Full 3” stainless exhaust
- LPFP is DW65v
- HPFP is APR
- 165 AKS fuel rail pressure regulator
- Genuine S3 injectors
- 4” intake setup and air filter location behind grille of front bumper

Lovely motors. Always loved the exterior look. I’d a K1 Cupra and it’s already nice shape was complimented with a great paint job that subtly changed colour in different light.
Even at factory’s power it was a headache for others at the lights because for a front wheel drive it was surprisingly very good at keeping that power planted. Loved the car but could never just be at peace with the shockingly bad cheap and nasty interior .
