I did this one last year, Age 61. It took ne 14hrs 45mins 😂. But it was one I wanted to do. I've only been hiking 2 years, so I was OK with that time. I'm going to beat it this year. Mind you, I only had a day pack on. 😂 Certainly beautiful views up there. My wife saw your fb reel, and now I'm subscribed. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate so much going on this walk with you, and I watched Part 1 as well. Not too far into watching this one, I realized that I needed my motion sickness wristbands on because I wouldn't be able to watch without them---no point in suffering "sea sickness" as the video moves with each step and/or pan or view from height--I am cursed with fear of heights in addition to motion sickness. (I don't have to wear them when bouldering in my nearby gym, thank goodness!) When Part 3 arrives, I'll remember to put the Sea Bands (brand name) on prior to starting the video. Thanks for the views which are fantastic--I have a friend who lives in Sheffield and have been in a car from there to Hathersage to purchase two Moon crash pads for my adult sons as early Christmas presents. My sons and I got out of the car so that they could climb a bit near Burbage Bridge--condtions too wet for much success bouldering, so we continued on towards Castleton for a snack at the Visitor Centre, then on to vist friends in Llangollen, Wales, and take a narrowboat cruise on the aqueduct to tick that off of my bucket list. By the way, I always enjoy videos which explain/show set up of equipment although I am not a hiker/camper, just a curious sort of ol' lady in Portland, Oregon, USA. See you next time, Sam.
Nicely done Sam can't wait for the trek to begin you'll smash it hopefully the weather will pick up ,how mad did those boulders look something from another planet Great video again showing some wonderful views 💪💪👍🏴
Proper walk that, Sam! Well done. Weather is looking up for June - hopefully it'll be good walking weather for your marathon donder across Britain! Looking forward to following your exploits! :)
