Islam is fading. The modern world is too strong. It revolutionzed Japan during the Meiji era, transformed the Western world away from slavery, defeated Nazi Germany and Soviet communism. Islam doesn't stand a chance.
@segagenysis6918 The West also uprooted ENTIRELY the native legal systems of the Indian subcontinent, and implanted the Anglo-Saxon common law, which in effect makes India partly but importantly intellectually joined at the hip to the United States of America. It is an achievement so spectacular that it can be difficult to appreciate: the achievement of one huge civilisation transforming the legal system of another huge civilisation. THE WEST RULES! The only way India will return the favour is by penetrating the West with its mega ethos (which India did to China/East Asia ages ago), which is by the spread of its philosophies and ancient knowledge. The future philosophies and quasi-religions of the West (Europe and swathes of North America) will be Buddhism, Yoga, and also the Vedānta (of which the Upanishads are the primary source texts). It's already very widespread. And Westerners still love to think about learning Sanskrit (although most would never make the time commitment to do that).
I'm so sorry to ask, but it is just out of curiosity. Are Eastern philosophies prevalent among people in your circle? In mine, it is basically half of everyone I know who are mildly to serious engaged with Vedic thought as well as East Asian spiritual traditions.@@DestinyAwaits19
