- If you like FA & Hockey skateboards, you may want to watch this Quasi Skateboard Review 😉 In today's video, I let you know my opinion and go over the details of the Quasi skate deck that I've been skating along with the details and shape of this quasi 8.25 skateboard.
I have ended up skating this Quasi deck longer than what I said in the video, as it's getting a little better with time and I'm also lazy lol.

I've always enjoyed the squared noses since I was a youngster. Alien Workshop was known for the shovel type noses so I skated them quite often. Jason dill and ave skated for Workshop so that's probably why FA/Hockey are also squared.
Yeah, that's a really good point actually. I forgot that Dill aspect. AWS not as shovelly but tis close!!

I just copped a quasi and you’re right I don’t like how My tricks feel on it, I’ve skated 3 hockey decks and 1 FA and I can say I hockey feels the best out of the 2
It's interesting that you say the FA and Hockey seem a little different.
Oh damn I literally just got an 8.5 Quasi recently and it's my favorite setup I've ever had lol I ride Thunder 149s on mine and its prefect for me, Im also really tall tho so a lot of flip tricks had me feeling cramped on a lot of setups before this one
I think that could be on BBS wood now and not PS Stix. Making it longer. But that's awesome to hear it works perfect on Thunders!!

I am on a board imwas.excited for and honestly just have felt right on it. It feels light in the front foot in the bowl. I am going to change out the trucks and see what happens. Like you did here.
Chuck ventures on it , that'll make it heavier up front for sure I think

I love Hockey Board's. Best skateboard I skated tomorrow be 34 years of my life.
Hockey are solid as!! Same as FA
I just got a quasi and I have the same feeling I was expecting it to be better you should try limosine they are the best boards I’ve skated so far
Can't say i've heard of those ones. I'm hoping the BBS Quasi is longer so may try them

Love the honesty and transparency with the reviews, just got my quasi running thunder 148’s and man haven’t felt this comfy ina while on a board 💯🫡

Do another review on Justin Henrys new Quasi board. Its symmetrical and on BBS wood.

Thats almost the same set up as me I have an 8.38 hockey some Shannahan Ventures and the 99a tablets, it's buttery!
How do you find the 99a tablets?

I really like quasi or habitat boards with thunder light trucks
I need to get my hands on a Habitat baord. They seem they are slept on.
@@Damoforce I really like Habitat boards! I normally alternate between Habitat and Real. I currently have a Real board with Ace trucks and its really good!
What deck you recommend for lazier older guys lol. I need the recipe !
Trucks can help you too and smaller wheels. But maybe a girl or GX1000, this Quasi isn't bad too

@@robrealcuts You can check out my Hockey review if you like. Same company. Really fuller, steeper nose and tail. Would suggest Thunder lows
Love the overall shape but the nose was just to steep for me. I felt like I had to work much harder for anything nollie.
Have you tried GX1000? It's alike but more mellow.

Would you say it’s similar to hockey fa decks?
Yes, the main difference would be the tail. A little shorter than them. But the newer ones maybe be longer.
Personally for me quasi is good
Yeah, I enjoyed it. I now see they are on BBS wood so I will try it again.

Eyy dont talk bad about Quasi, could just be that you got a bad one. I have riden 2 Quasi decks, same model, graphic, shape, same all. The first one was probably in my top 2 boards skated and the other one shipped, got pressure cracks and actually cracked the top ply, was weird
The decks quality was fine. Actually I cracked it after 4 weeks. I personally just found the short tail a problem for me. But I do see the new ones on BBS are longer
@@Damoforce really, damn, or i like the storter Tail for flat groun but that’s it, no tail slides
I also tried a GX1000 with looked awersome, good shape, but the board cracked and shipped and got awful pressure cracks every time I skated, so glad that they switched to bbs
