    The bugs remind me of "Love Bug season" in Florida. We never travel in or out of Florida during that time.

    I put a bug screen on my truck before leaving for Alaska and was so glad I did. Kept the bugs not only onff the front of the truck but out of the radiator. We met a couple in Palmer that their motorhome overheated and blew the engine because of excessive dust clogged the radiator fins. I see you got a cracked windshield. We were lucky and only got one little bullseye.

    We spent $3500.00 to have our under carriage rebuilt in Anchorage Alaska. Our island dropped breaking Drain. Hung to Mountain Bikes from ladder an ripped it off. 6 years full time its gotten better. I do all repairs now. Retired Jack of all trades. Lol. Safe Travels From Show Me RV Adventures. Been watching a lot of Alaska trips lately, came across you guys and decided to spend some time watching your adventures. The wife and I went to Alaska back in 2018. Live in the UP of Michigan near Gladstone and we spent 95 or so days from last week in May till the first week in Sept. Had a fantastic trip with no problems with out Jayco fifth wheel but had three problems with the 04 Chevy 2500. Blew a relay outside Duluth and were able to get that fixed at our friends house we stopped at. Blew a water pump in Grande Cache. NO auto mechanic in town and no parts store. Found a oil truck repair shop and they got us back on the road. Then at the end of the trip, the last day in Alaska, at Tok, we lost an injector with smoke and overheating all 3800 miles back home. Total of 11750 miles. Made it home and now I'm looking for different adventures the next time we head that way. Best trip I've taken. Looking forward to seeing how yours went. Thanks for sharing. Big Packer fan and I like cheeseheads.

    Even though we traveled and stayed mostly in rv parks, the boondocking was great due to any highway pull off big enough to handle the rig.

    We looked at over 12 Paradigms a couple years ago brand new in dealers lots, they were literally falling apart in many areas. Hopefully you're all fixed up by now, my understanding is there was some blame on lippert in this case and affected many manufacturers.

      @Registered_Nomads  11 місяців тому +1

      Yes! Thankfully we were able to get into the factory for repairs! Even though we had the issue, overall we've been very happy with our Paradigm and haven't had too much go wrong that we couldn't handle. Alliance did treat us very well in regards to getting it fixed. We have a video on this experience if you want to check it out! Thank you for watching!

    How old is your 5er? Alliance should totally take care of you with full repairs. Had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners of Alliance RV at the Novi Michigan RV show. He seemed like a very stand up guy and assured me that their warranty and service is second to no other manufacturer. He didn't seem like a scumbag liar just trying to make a sale. Keep us posted on what happens with this. And Alliance if you're listening, it's time to back up your pricing and your claims about your company. And if you get the run around we will know that we were just bs'ed by another scumbag liar in the RV business........... Just sayin. These people made their beds with public opinion. Now they need to prove to us that they want to change and want to do better for their customers. Safe travels to you two!
