Great job on the repairs and maintenance. You’re very lucky to have some great knowledge right beside you as you did this. None of this is a hard job once you’ve done it once or twice, but it’s a little daunting when thinking about it. I had to replace all 4 brake assemblies at one time because the clips holding the wires to the magnets came loose and the wires were free floating and broke shortly after getting our Avenue. Thanks for sharing.

You mentioned uneven wear on the trailer tires, was there a particular theme of the wear pattern on each tire or was it random from tire to tire and side to side of the trailer. The reason I ask, I have a feeling there is more to it than the wear in those plastic bushings. Put another way, the odds are that the axles are not mounted onto the frame ( the spring hangers ) as square to the king pin of the trailer as they could be and the axles themselves can have quirks in them as in the spindles are not always square to the axle tube and often they purposely put a bend in the middle of the axle tube to try and counteract the weight that comes down on the axles causing tube flex ( your father inlaw will probably have some knowledge of that ) and if that is overdone that can cause tire wear. Even if lets say one leaf spring pack was replaced for example, if it was not an exact match it would throw off the axle alignment and cause all sorts of tire wear issues. On a good note at least your axles stayed underneath you're trailer on the trip to Alaska and back !.

The wear pattern was not random it was on driver side front and passenger side rear tire on the outside edges. The other two tires were still good. The wear lined up with the spring hangers that no longer would take grease and were seized up. Yes, we were very happy to make it to Alaska and back without any major incident! Thank you for watching!

@@Registered_Nomads That will be interesting then for you to take note of any tire wear issues once these new tires accumulate a certain amount of miles. Weird tire wear issues on trailers tends to be a rather common issue unfortunately due to alignment or camber angles.
