I’ve read the book and so happy I wasn’t part of that family. Wow I feel so bad for the Mother, the husband didn’t seem to be the best kind of father, he gave the kids books and that was to fix a fight.

How on earth did their mum have and raise 12 children?
    I struggle with 5!
My beautiful mum…dead now…suicide…My beautiful brother and my beautiful sister dead…suicide…schizophrenia. Mum Sexually abused from a tiny age from her step father.
Dr Zuchielus looked after my mum and our family extremely well!
God bless anyone who helps, understands and looks after people with mental health issues.💖

To everyone who’s suffering (been touched) from this terrible illness/dis/ease I’m so, very sorry for (your) this agonizing experience! It’s pretty much beyond comprehension. If you’ve lost a family member or friend from this horrific illness; know that they’re relieved from this form of torture. They’re now just soundly asleep in their graves & aren’t in any type of agony whatsoever. May Almighty God be with every single person who’s still in agony! Jesus Christ may very well lay your loved one to rest. 🙏

And how many of their children are affected too? It doesn't stop with them. My father's family is generationally affected. Sad.

Hidden Valley Road. The name of the book. Just gonna listen to this interview. Robert is explaining this family tragedy/story. Clearly he’s been studying them. Wow! Extremely heartbreaking! On the screen it’s saying: Donald, Jim, Brian, Peter all became ill at a much younger age => 14 yrs! This is literally brutal! You’d never believe this was possible! Esp, just in 1 family! Ugh 🫢💔🤦‍♀️😣

My Son( now deceased) who had it, showed signs from the age of 12, although mild, but wasn't diagnosed until he was 23. Unfortunately when turned 18 he started self medicating with the wacky tobacco and it made him so much worse. He passed at age 31 from an accidental overdose of drugs. We don't know who he inherited it from, there's mental illness in my family but not Schizophrenia. I kept thinking it was Puberty making him which was affecting him. He seemed a happy child most of the time. As soon as he started high school he started to change.

It could. There is some research about cat ownership and schizophrenia. They think it’s connected. Between the ages of like 7-12. Something about cat ownership at that age.

I’m watching Part; Three Delusion: fourteen-year old Peter suffers from a psychiatric breakdown after a family member dies; a family secret forces Mary into an unthinkable situation. (This is the topic of part 3.)
