Any tips for a durable bag? some of the tools ive bought are pretty sharp also something that is safe to carry them. Don't want to fall and poke myself haha
I use an Oakley Backpack, Very durable. I have had it loaded with over 60 lbs of agate and geodes.
I picked up a small basic shoulder bag from the thrift store...I put most of my sharp tools inside that, which then goes in my pack. Alternatively, for things like screwdrivers, some chisels, you could buy a cheap leather tool roll, and keep that in your pack. I have a 15" pry bar I sometimes carry, and use a homemade protector on the bottom end made out of foam pipe insulation and pvc tape...you could use something similar on a long chisels as well..
The crime of possession of burglary tools is a third-degree felony which is punishable up to 5 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. I was thinking of buying tools like that for a gemstone trip, but when I saw this I was afraid. I think some of those tools could be considered burglary tools. What can a person do to keep from being harrassed for that?
Don't steal anything, They don't prosecute theives now anyways. You should see the bike theft group on Facebook. It's a joke! Fuck theives. Had my house broke into and a generator was stolen. It was located at a pawn shop and I went and picked it up. Well the dude who stole it had pawned it before and payed his pawn so they had a receipt for that pawn. I had to bring the generator back to the pawn shop even though I had a receipt for purchase.
