Great review! These past few months this has been my HG. I don't put much on my face and find it perfect on my combo, sensitive, mature face! I also live in an extremely humid hot climate (Houston, TX.) and this foundation works wonderfully all year on me. Perfection! It does look lovely on you💖. (yes, I use very little foundation!)
I absolutely love CDP and have all of their foundations including this one... love it, I prefer it to the previous version... along with the new reformulated loose powder in both 1 & 2 shades... highly recommend them all!
This is exciting! My holy grail was CDP Silky cream foundation that was discontinued several years ago. I generally like a light coverage but that formula was just magic for my complexion- it did a great job covering any redness without looking heavy. It’s worth a try. I’m slightly lighter than you and wore B20.

It looks beautiful on you but I will definitely skip because I have combo skin. I purchased the matte foundation. :) I'm still waiting for it to arrive.

I have been so curious about this foundation (37 w/ very dry, dehydrated skin) and I also live in Northwestern Ontario so I am looking for a good winter foundation that would work for me. Thank you for the thorough review, I think I will be giving this a shot. I always heavily moisturize and serum up before any makeup base application so I think this will be lovely for me. That finish on you is perfecting and very much “lit within” glow. Love it!!! Thanks Allison ❤️
@@AllisonChase I grew up in Montreal, so my skin was much happier in that more humid climate, the air is so dry up here and it does nothing good for helping slow down the aging process 😂
I have been waiting for this to arrive in the US!! The older version currently has very limited colors in all the department stores. Was hoping the new version would be available before my upcoming trip?? But definitely will be on the lookout for it’s arrival.

This foundation is exactly what I’m looking for!! Great review thank you 😊 also sometimes I will mix in my by terry cc serum in sunny flash or my Chantecaille gel bronzer into a foundation that’s too light for me and it will help me make a too-light shade work for me!
I think I will try it out, though when I saw what shade you were, I was a bit concerned as I'm usually B10 as I'm quite fair. You tend to be warmer toned than me (based on previous foundation shades you've used), so I hope I can find my correct shade.
How does it compare to the matte one for coverage and longevity? I have the matte and usually put a luminizer underneath to get a soft glow. My skin is dry and mature.
