Today, we are doing a review of the NEW! Reformulated Cle de Peau Radiant Cream Foundation. I had so many requests to do a review on this foundation - so here we are! I am 53 years old and have dry, mature skin. I prefer a radiant GLOWY finish with my foundations and this one fits the bill!

Hi Abby! This foundation looked beautiful on you! I’ve been using it for two weeks now and I love it! The finish is beautiful and it seems to blur pores and wrinkles and doesn’t settle. I have it in B40, because I’m self tanning, and that works great for me, so I’ll prob keep that color throughout the summer also! Loved the rest of the look on you also. I have to say it looks beautiful on your skin! I have the exact CDP foundations as you plus "The Foundation" (a favorite in winter). It looks so good on your skin I am going to have to get it!! I just placed an order on their website for a bunch of different makeup and after much research decided my shade is going to bb20 also and that's what's coming. I'm glad that you mentioned that even though it looks like it might be a little bit too pink on a Swatch that it actually works on your face. I have the same situation with my neck looking a little more Rosie then my face looks. That was a great tip and I thank you for it. I just cannot wait to get my items. I bought the newer one that is in the tube that you're reviewing here and I also bought somewhere else the same shade in the matte foundation. While I was there I went ahead and picked up by brightener stick. That looks like it's going to be pretty awesome. And finally I ordered a little pallet of some type of lavender skin brightening powder. It's a highlighter and it looks like it's going to be exactly what I need for my skin.. I just cannot wait to get my order.
And speaking of products for aging skin I'm really curious about the Bobby Brown brand Jones Road. I almost bought that line instead of this but I don't think there's going to be a day in my life that I'm going to reach for that Miracle balm stuff. After reading all kinds of reviews I just can't believe it's so popular. It seems like the most unnecessary piece of makeup ever made LOL

Great review! I finally decided to enjoy The foundation for the warmer months and revisit the cream foundation in the fall. I had a mild rosacea reaction and I’ll not sure what’s causing it so it’s probably best to wait. Funny- Bernt said to me on Saturday night ‘Who in the world are you texting with about makeup at midnight’’😂😂😂

Alisa- I am so glad you love the Chanel No. 1! It is such a good foundation and yes- this CDP Radiant Cream falls into that category! You can wait and get a sample see what you think. AND oh my goodness, that project was so much bigger than I thought- and I was DYING! I have never felt so 'out of shape' before but I have to say my yard looks freaking amazing! Someone asked if I was getting ready to sell it because it never looked so good before. LOL!!

👍Thank you for the information about CPB cream foundation, I was hard to find the shade for my light to Mid. slitly yellow olive undertone. I been tried shade in BF 10 but, it too light on me and O20 was too orange for me , maybe I used too much ? do you have any recommendations for me ?
I saw ton of UA-camr channel most of review the texture and coverage but, no color tone but, you clear to explained each type of foundation and color on your arm.

Which is a new fav but it can be fuller coverage than I always like and I'd love if there were more shades ! Next is Sisley your favorite powder? I want some blurring in the tzone but everything ends up looking cakey ... thank you ♥️
I love it! Okay - I love the Sisley Cushion too but you nailed it - it is more full coverage but I do love that it has SPF 50 and I wish it had more shades. Super hard to match and no dark shades at all! AND yes, my favorite LOOSE powder is Sisley. MY favorite pressed powder is the La Mer powder. I hope this helps. xoxo

YAY! Heather - I am really liking this foundation!! I had a bit of a struggle deciding on the shades- because they honestly swatch different than what actually happens on my skin and face. They seem to morph to your skin tone in a cool way! A little goes a long way - you don't want to use too much! I learned the hard way. So just a small pea size is the right amount for the whole face/neck. I hope this helps. xoxo

Hi Abby, great video! Would you normally reach for Chanel NO 1 or Cle de Peau? I generally prefer a lighter foundation and don’t want to have to powder. Powdering is usually something I like to avoid. Thanks! 😎
Maureen- If you don't want to powder at all- I would go with Chanel. No. 1 - the CDP will be a little more dewy and although I don't use a ton of powder - I totally get away with none with the Chanel No. 1 Foundation. I hope this helps.

@@AbbyBlissWhite Hey Abby! To date...."The Foundation" is still my HG. I have repurchased this one the most. If you can believe this.... I recently dropped (my brand new) jar on the FLOOR! Initially, I watched in slow motion , unable to react fast enough as "my precious" spilled everywhere.....$250 on the floor. I lost about 3/4 of it (sniff, sniff!) So, NOW, I'll be repurchasing again a lot sooner than expected..UGH!

How would you compare this to chantecaille future skin?
I would say they have a very similar finish without the Spf in the Chantecaille. The Future Skin which is a long time fave - is more cooling and gel like on the skin but also provides a hydrating dewy glow! So Chantecaille GEL like- similar coverage- finish but no SPF. I hope this helps. xoxo

Funny how Radiant Fluid and Radiant Matte in the same color number...#020...have a very different color pay off. Yes...if you indeed have a slight rosy understone, the "B" line should work best. I, for one, use the "O" line for it matches my neutral/slighty warm undertone...."B" comes off too pink on me. And yes....I can see where a color may come off ashy for you, Abby.....you have to work with the rosy undertone you have to match it best. Whew....really can get into the weeds on this topic, can't we? Chat soon! ;)

Donna- yes- we could talk for hours on this subject and I find it so confusing because even different formulations have different colores within same range and if they include SPF - that too can change the color slightly. SO yes- things I have learned- you have to experiment and - yes, I finally have accepted that some neutrals really come off grey/ashy on me. I used to just buy 2N in all foundations until a makeup artist told me I looked grey- and I was like yep- I thought so too!!! LOL! SO thank you 🙏
