AND, after years of trying to follow the trend to use brushes or sponges to apply foundation, I went back to using my fingers, so i was thrilled to see you doing the same! I had to stop working years ago due to serious health issues, so I challenged myself to find affordable alternatives to my high end products... so I know your channel may not suit me, but I still love to see your final looks, how fresh and pretty they are!❤️

Thank you for testing out this foundation! I have been curious about it, and have used the old formula of the CDP Radiant Cream Foundation. The new formula looks gorgeous on you! I have also been been coveting the highlighter and have been afraid to pull the trigger, but again it looks gorgeous on you also.
The highlighter really is lovely - I was afraid it would be orange - but not at all!

Yes, do more videos like this. Now - Things I bought because of you: Dior Quint eyeshadow in Organza (Love it!), Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin (it’s definitely better than what I was using), NARS Light Reflecting foundation (absolutely love the finish). I make the shades work but neither is perfect. So I was in Sephora yesterday testing the Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation - because of you. The 0.5N looks like a perfect match and a gorgeous finish. I wanted a sample but they were freakishly busy so I left but…I will get the sample next time. And It’s only $3 more than NARS. IT WILL BE MY NEXT PURCHASE - because of you. Mind you - I was strictly a drugstore broad in the past and you have made me realize, I am worth quality products. Thank you.

I wish I owned a company that can change $90 for a concealer. Bobbi Brown Pink Glow can’t be overdone and lasts all day and I don’t love highlighter but I love this.
I envy that spring has sprung for you. Although, I don't think I could survive the summer without a/c. I'm spoiled. I preferred the KGD Moisture Foundation for its shade range, finish, and price. Love these videos!
I have and used to adore my KGD Aqua - but the best color for me isn't quite right...I'm tempted to try the Moisture Foundation now that you mention it - will have to look at the shades!

I love these colours on you - even the lip. When you use the mauves on your eye, it does the same as it does with me, in that I feel that it looks bruised.
They can be very tricky, especially for those with dark under eyes, it does almost give a "black eye" kinda of look!
I have the same products and love them all. I was not influenced by Michele on these particular things, it was someone else and the foundation I got was Radiant fluid foundation in Natural and it is beautiful! I also got the 'highlighter' in Number 18, it is pretty, - I use it more like a powder, not only a highlighter. A good choice!
I can see how it would make a decent choice for a powder if someone wanted a radiant finish over a foundation that's on the matte/natural side. Would be lovely.
I love Michele!. My pocketbook probably thinks differently, lol. The CdP foundation you tried here is one of my daily favorites (I do rely upon Michele's feedback on CdP beauty products). I tend to wear it alone, b/c I'd really rather not add powder to my face base. I've yet to try a Sisley lip color. Looks lovely!. Thank you for sharing!.

Such a pretty, soft, and natural look. I really think the Cle de Peau foundation looks great on you. It provides very good coverage but is not in the least cakey. I like the radiance level too. I have to put it on my list which just keeps getting longer. I just saw Natasha Denona's new pastel pallette and immediately wanted it even though I just purchased a pallette (Hindash) and have not received yet.

lol! I'm about to pull the trigger on a different color - I was so surprised when I did the comparison swatches how much lighter it is than my others (although I didn't feel it looked to light). But I really like this foundation!

Good morning. The makeup/skin became precious. If you have chance try the Phyto concealer from Sisley, works very well. The lipstick also from Sisley I have it in the color Rosewood that I think that will suit also your skin tone. Stay safe. Ida

the sheer gloss looks lovely on you. don't be harsh on yourself. It could be a matter of lights in the room - I think Michele has a lot of special lights. Makes a difference.
I think she does settings on her camera that are warm. Often her swatches pull much more warm than they are. But, 100% every time I buy a lip color that looks good on her, it's just nowhere near the same on me :(

They are both lovely (I'm wearing the Chanel today). but the CdP is more "comforting" it feels like it's moisturizing.

All Cle de Peau highlighters are fabulous. Most Chanel highlighters are too shiny for me...a.k.a...Metallic Peach from a few years ago. Can wear CDP highlighters all over the face if wanted/needed. Great product.
I just ordered the new Chanel LE highlighter - it will be interesting to compare them!
I have the Sisley sheer 41 and pencil liner Fuchsia. It is a little bold but I think it works for me. It I am a little pale with warm undertone. Theoretically o20 in cle de peau should be my colour but since they don’t ship to my location I can’t comment.

The foundation is very pretty on you. I don’t think it’s for me as I have oily skin, which is very oily in the summer and I’m happy with a combination of the matte and radiant Cle de Peau liquid foundations. Mixing those two gives me a lovely satin finish and I only need to powder in the T zone. The blush/highlighter is gorgeous on you! Thanks for a fun video.
So smart to mix those two and I found the liquid matte really is a good long wear "looks like I just put it on" foundation!
@@TheHoodedLid I can’t take credit for the idea of mixing the two foundations; Lexi Jong came up with it. Have to admit, though, the best of both foundations comes forward when they’re mixed and I’m very happy with the result. Thanks again for the video.
I also bought both liquid ones to mix thanks to Lexi Jong! I am not sure on the shade I chose …the B and O confuse me 😂

I totally agree about the look on Michelle is different when I try it Partcularly the sisly lip liner in nude she recommended. It cost the earth in the UK and was horrible on me.Sadly we cant return in the UK !!!!!!!!

I also using Cle De Peau highlighter. My cousin gave to me years ago. I used up and ordered again. I love it. I’m 67 years old Japanese. I think Cle De Peau is a high end line of Shiseido if I’m not mistaken.

This one! On several of the days I wore the Kosas - my skin felt dry. Not sure if it was the powder but this one I've worn several days and there's something very soothing about this.

Hi you mentioned 13 number on the highlighter, yet the link says 18, and it goes to 17.
I have a bad feeling (and I hope I'm wrong) that this color may be discontinued. Fingers crossed that it's just out of stock. The shade is 18 (I have poor eyesight, but when I do the links I get out the magnifying glass just to make sure I have it right).

I do! This time of year my nails become very brittle and break so easily! Just yesterday, two nails broke when I washed my hair. I'm just giving my nails a rest for a little bit.
I actually found this foundation more drying than the cream one. It’s not really radiant at all. It’s long wearing. Weightless.
Well...the radiance could have something to do with my skincare. I'm working on a three day wear test for a full review now - so we'll see!
Ochre is a paint color - a natural yellow pigment, very beautiful for mixing colors in watercolor. It’s pronounced “oh-kurr”
I just have a problem pronouncing it and for some reason say the veggie instead. it's one of those odd brain blocks. I'll try to do better!!
