Come to Maceió, Brazil😃
Hello. Just a sugestion. If you go to Sugar Loaf mountain, do it at morning. This way the sun will be back of you and the view will be amazing. I mean, you will be able to see the true colors of the city. The green of the rain forest in the mountains, the gray of the rock mountains, the blue of the sea, bay and sky, the white of beach's sand and the buildings. So, you'll have the chance to see why Rio is known in Brazil as the wonderful city. Otherwise, all the view will have one color only; light blue ( just watch it on the videos ). I'm watching all your videos 'cause I'm a tourismologist and ecological tourism guide.
The Best beautiful City Santos SP, Brazil.
Brazilians love to be visited and like it when tourists try to get to know our culture. some end up staring because they like to observe your reactions to our country, our food and our traditions. we are a very welcoming people, and as we do not speak the same language, we communicate with a smile and sympathy.
Yes everyone is super kind and friendly
I was planning to visit this year but will wait until next year now.
I would like to visit when it is good to sunbath and not very cloudy. Is may/June good? Thanks
@@Steven-qi4gm It depends on the region! brazil is huge so each region ends up having different climates. but the sunniest and hottest season in Brazil is now during the summer (from December to March). after March it gets cold and in June / July we start winter. but it all depends on the region you are going to visit.
@@alextrevelin1952 thank you for the reply, I am planning on going to rio to enjoy the beach
@@Steven-qi4gm here it will be winter in the middle of the year
Amo que eles tomam um corpão de açaí com leite condensado e "it's healthy, light.."
One thing that açaí isn’t is “light” hahahahaha
Brasil: Coxinha
Gringo: ''Fried Joe"
😂
By the way keep posting more in Brasil!
Fried dough**
Adoro gente assim. Sem frescura que experimenta de tudo. Às vezes é bom, às vezes nem tanto, mas o importante é ser curioso. Comida é uma parte importante da cultura de um povo.
The good thing is you can work out 🏋️♀️ on the beach after a bunch of food 🤣😂
Yes it’s great!
Vcs são muito legais! Se sintam em casa. O Brasil abraça vcs! Tamo junto!
leite = milk
Guys u should go to Minas Gerais to see the historical cities. Belo Horizonte is the capital for Minas Gerais , and have so many colonial cities to go around Belo Horizonte, like Ouro Preto , Mariana , Tiradentes , São Joçao Del Rey ... if need some help/ suggestions , contact me =)
Answering Lindsay's question, "Leite" means Milk.
churros are made with wheat flour and water, are fried in vegetable oil and receive a layer of sugar. the churros you ate were stuffed with condensed milk. they are my favorites.
yes, guarana is a fruit. is a Brazilian fruit that comes from the Amazon rainforest. what you took in the video is a guarana soda.
Yes thank you for explaining. It was a caramel in the churro that’s was something and then leite
Coxinha de Frango, love it! Brazil es tan lindo y tan grandeeeee. Ya volveré
Espero que vuelvas y seas bienvenido.

Guys the tea is the best one in RJ now it is cultural tea and Carioca can't live without it
I am outside of Brazil for two years now, this video made me cry :(
Hi, I'm from Rio, I live in Copacabana.
There are two things that you can try and that is very close to the place where are you staying.
The first in Pedra do Leme has restaurant kiosks that serve fried sardines, order sliced lemon to squeeze over the sardines. Very good accompanied with beer or caipirinha. Not to mention enjoying the view of the Copacabana beach.
The second is the Churrascaria Copagrill, is a steakhouse, which has everything for a relatively cheap price per person, located at Ministro Viveiros de Castro street, number 47, Copacabana.
It has two service systems, it can be per kilo or a fixed price and without limit on the consumption of food. You only pay for the drink consumed, I want to remind you that in Brazil you don't have a drink refill service.
Ok, at this point y'all have eat more açai than me, and I'am living my whole life here ^^
Hey guys hope you're well. Sorry we haven't been able to visit you for a while we were in Bulgaria then Malta were we got stuck due to Covid and flights we're cancelled. But great to catch up with you again. Wow Brazil looks amazing, love street food. Thanks for putting Brazil on our to do list. Stay safe and catch up again real soon God bless you both.
Thanks so much! Hope one day you can make it to Brazil. We love it more than we could have imagined!
So where are you now?

Cinnamon churros are my favourite 😋

Greetings from Albania. 👋🏼 🇦🇱
Thanks so much! ❤️
I just met your channel and I really liked your videos about Brazil. You will always welcome here, guys. 🇧🇷
Aww thanks for being here!
Ipanema beach is worth visiting too
We will visit pretty soon ✊🏻
Tip for you guys:
Explore Joatinga, Barra da Tijuca, Recreio, Prainha and Grumati beaches. They are all near Zona Sul and worth it.
As a local I rarely ever go to Zona Sul beaches because I prefer West Zone ones by far.
Yes, Guaraná is a fruit. Also an amazonic fruit. All over Brazil you can find guaraná juice, and brands that sell them like Guaracamp, Guaraviton, Guaravita... if it has "Guara" in the prefix it probably started as guaraná juice company.
Churros recheados means Stuffed or Churros with fillings.
Doce de Leite is a argentinian food that is made from cooked sweetened condesed milk. It's known all over latin america, specially in the Mercosul (Argentina, Uruguay and Chile) as dulce de leche, in spanish. It has origins both in Argentina and in Brazil, but I don't think people really care where it was originated? It's really famous in the state of Minas Gerais, a neighbouring state of Rio and São Paulo
Another awesome vlog. I love it when you taste street food and tell us about the ingredients an the flavor. Thank you Lindsey and Alexander!
Our pleasure! Thanks for being here
If you like meat, you should try a "churrascaria rodízio", basically a "all you can eat buffet, with a lot of grilled and barbecued meats. But you have to be hungry! You'll have a feast!
Hi guys, I just like very much to see the way that you try our ways of living, showing us things that we have here in Rio that we ourselves d'ont even pay attention anymore. But we should and next sunday I will do the same you are doing, so that I d'ont forget our streets any more. Thanks.
Oh!! You missed getting the biscuit ‘globinho’ with the tea drink!! It’s a CLASSIC biscuit and amazing!
We were watching the video and saying: get globinho! get it! but you didn’t 😂
We didn’t know what it was at the time in this video but we later tried it and loved it
Eating boiled corn and strolling by the beach is always relaxing. Even on a cloudy day.
Loved it! Corn butter and salt
Sweet corn is the best snack!! They also sell it on the beach in Romania :)
Dulce de leche is the best! :)
Great video, as always! Enjoy!
Can’t go wrong with 🌽 corn
I remember seeing it in Romania! And Turkey, Greece, Italy, Albania, Mexico. It’s a thing I guess
@@TheTravelbum I also remember seeing you eating it in Colombia. I guess it is a thing :)
I thought Romania was landlocked.

Hey Guys I saw that you are amazing the coconut and then when finished the water you need to ask the guy to open it and eat the meat there is inside the coconut.

Awesome Street food vlog...makes me want to eat churros now lol take care guys
Haha glad we made you hungry 😋
Guys, did you try tapioca? One of the trunks was selling it. It's a dish from the natives (before colonization and stuff). You can have it with coconut and condensed milk, or a salty version with butter, cheese, chicken, beef... Most of tapiocas are made of polvilho, a kind of flour also used in pão de queijo
Hahaha, very nice! Exactly what we do here. We love street food, specially corn. Greetings from Fortaleza!

If you guys have a chance you should do a video on the music of Brazil, they have such a rich musical history and culture. Bossa Nova, jazz and samba.. I would love to go to Brazil one day and going to hear live music there is the first thing on my list I'd love to see

Are you still in Rio?
Hey guys, forgot to tell you on my earlier comment: please do not forget to wear sunscreen as the sun is unforgiving in Brazil and you guys shouldn't be used to it. Also, to my destination list, please consider visiting cities in the South of the country like Gramado, Canela and Blumenau apart from all the other regions and places I told you. If you guys are interested in some wild adventure, maybe you should try visiting Belém or Manaus for some Amazon experience. Please do not forget to taste one of the most popular street foods: tapioca. You guys can choose the filling and I recommend both trying a savory and a sweet one. Peace from a Rio guy living in Japan :)
That drink was yerba mate, known as "erva mate" or "chimarrão" in Southern Brazil. The way you drank it, it's referred to as "mate cocido" which is basically the iced tea version with the optional addition of lemon and/or sugar. Mate is the national drink of several South American countries and it's derived from the ilex paraguariensis plant. It's naturally stimulating like coffee, but without any jitters and crashing effects. I like to refer to the effects as "creative clarity". Salud!
Always be welcome to Brazil !
The best 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great trip in Brazil, congratulations.
I'm so addicted to your videos!! I always wanted to visit Brasil and i was thinking of living in Brasil for 6 months/1 year. Your videos just make me want it even more :)
You will love it; it’s been amazing
How did you get eat a lot of so? LOL. Your videos are very funny. Congrats. I'm watching all the Brazil trip.
That churro looked delicious. There is a song called Meu Amigo Charlie Brown by Benito de Paula, give it a listen it. The song is vibes.
Looking up now ✊🏻
The tea in the canister is mate, a sort of tea made from toasted yerba mate leaves...
I’m so in love with it
In Rio Grande do Sul they drink a lot of mate. 🧉
you have to go to Santa Teresa, go up the hill by cable car (bondinho). You have to taste the feijoada, a typical Brazilian dish, its amazing. Try the moqueca too. You'll love both.
Rio de Janeiro lindo 😍

What fun! So glad you're feeling welcomed and safe there. Beach towns are always really fun and friendly. When you get back to the US you should check out the Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral and the Port at Cape Canaveral area's. Hopefully after Covid so you can really get the full experience. So many cool clubs, free bands, miles of beach and always friendly people. Love you guys.

I tried açaí several times, it is not a food that I like or dislike, I just don't eat it. But when it comes to cupuaçú it is different, I love it.
Watching you guys eating all these delicious meals that I grow up with makes me hungry and homesick. I love the videos you guys are doing about Brasil and I hope that you enjoy each. One of your stay there.
I love coxinhas too. They are delicious maybe you guys tried already but next time check if they have coxinha de frango com catupiry. It is a chicken coxinha mixed with a special cheese that is very creamy and delicious. It tastes good.

Visit Forte de Copacabana, really nice place to go and is right next to the beach.
The tea is called "matte leão"
Hi! What is it? Tea leaf?
@@aracirodriguez2155 In fact "Mate Leão" is a brand of tea and not as it is called tea. It is well consumed in Brazil but it is not the only one.
That tea is called Mate and Matte Leão is a brand. Mate is a tea used way back by the the native guarani Indians and it's widely used in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. In Rio and other regions of Brazil we usually drink the toasted leaf style while in the South region they drink the green, called chimarrão by the southerner Brazilians!!

Man, after you drink the water from the coconut, ask to the guy open to you and try the creamy nut inside. I guess you gonna love it!!!
The fried conic snack with cheese, meat or chicken filling is called "cochinha", ot's very popular all over Brazil; the dough is made with flour.
Btw, you opened your video with salsa, a colombian music style hahaha. The brazilian one is samba. It's written slightly different. But the most famous brazilian rhythm from Rio is probably bossa-nova. Great video! Have a nice vacation in our country :)
8:29 guarana is a fruit that comes from the amazon, just like açai, however, Brazil is not just Rio de Janeiro. the size of the country is 8.5 million square kilometers, larger than the continental part of the USA.
Matte é um chá bem típico no Brasil e esse é o mate torrado. Se for mate puro , usamos para fazer Tererê e Chimarrão.
Só faltou experimentar o famoso biscoito de "vento" globo. Acredito que o cara do chá estava vendendo.
Only lacked experience the famous cookie "wind" globe. I believe the tea guy was selling.
