1953 Notre Dame at Oklahoma

This is The 9/23/1953 Notre Dame at Oklahoma game. It is a Black and White Film with NBC Radio. Curt Gowdy calls the game for NBC. With Notre Dames schedule they went 9-0-1 and probably show have won at least a piece of The National Championship. This was Oklahoma's only loss. They finished 9-1-1 including a win over Top Ranked Maryland in the Orange Bowl. legendary Coaches Frank Leahy and Bud Wilkinson matched up. After this loss Oklahoma was tied by Pitt the next week and then won a still standing 47 consecutives games in row before losing to, you guessed it Notre Dame again. I claim no rights to the film or the audio but I did author this combination.
