Nice! I live about 30 minutes south of the Ocoee in Georgia. We would make it up to Tremont and the Little often. Not too bad of a drive for a day trip.
They are hella fun but I liked and had more fun in the Medium scorch. Haven't tried the scorch x cause at first I thought it was like a extra large boat. When in reality it's about same size as the medium but longer I'm not sure. But it's fun nose stalling into stern squirts.
yeah that's elbow rapid and its actually pretty chill if you just blaze down through it on the left at that level catching the eddy for sure makes it harder
Ran Sinks-Elbow once at 4' and felt like my hair was on fire the whole run. It was definitely outside my comfort zone. You made it look so easy. I'll pass on the high water but love 2.7-3.0'ish.
Do You enjoy the code more then the medium scorch and scorch x? And between the scorch med and scorch x which is your favorite? Sorry about the long questions.
It really depends on where im paddling if its steep and rocky the code is beast going over and rock flare boofs if its big and flowing with big holes the scorch it the boat to have I really like both a lot
@@WadeHarrison Yeah seemed to come alive on those runs! We’re you in the medium? I’m at 185lbs thinking the medium would be plenty big enough with all that volume!
Wade, Wade, Wade… I’ve been following (and enjoying) your channel for quite some time and rarely comment but I hate to say this. I can’t believe you fooled me with click bait and call that “micro creeking”. You’re better than that man. I suggest you check out Ferraro’s 1st d of Rock Creek for the real definition… Just messin with you man, your channel’s one of my favorites! Keep up the good work and Merry Christmas to you!
the scorch is not really designed for that trust me we have a lot of great choices out there if your paddling bigger volume stuff go scorch if you more of a mix go Code but both seem to handle big water and creeking pretty good
One of the harder creeks I did back in my kayaking days. Super fun! Nice and continuous. The Code looked like it ate it up!
I lived in Maryville Tn for 6 years I learned how to creek boat in that entire area

@@capnhowdy3406 yeah can knock them out easy together
shot dang that Scorch X is a beautiful boat. Fun Code video Wade, thanks again!
thanks for watching
@@WadeHarrison yeah it's fun to watch when you are in a boat you really like...and I can tell you really like the Code.
Please tell us about the paddle you are using here. Super fun video.
its this one ua-cam.com/video/-bXOMQtixUk/v-deo.html
Waiting patiently for the Code in Europe….looks a lot of fun. Thanks for the videos and podcasts, from the UK!
Hey thanks for watching and listening!

It should be ther enow
No joke this boat looks like one of the best designs for almost any water. Your paddling makes it look even better tho.
It’s very well rounded might not be the most carving machine or the fastest but really does do everything dam good
That rapid at 8:49 is crazy, I try to guess your lines and thought you would ferry up and across to next to those rocks. I was definitely wrong!
yeah that's elbow rapid and its actually pretty chill if you just blaze down through it on the left at that level catching the eddy for sure makes it harder
Hi Wade, keep these vids coming - I love the Intel but mostly the Stoke as you paddel with your bids! Cheers from Ireland! R.
Hey buddy thanks for watching and what question what is “bids”?
@@WadeHarrison I meant 'buds'. As in you are always so stoked when out paddling with your buds/buddies/friends. 😂
@@redmondross hahah I was hoping that was some sort of Irish term that I could start using dam it was just a typo

Yeah It gets pushy but still goes pretty good at high water..
Looks like a great run. Definitely on my SE list
Its got a wide window It goes at alot of levels

Couldn’t help but smile with all the fun you all were having. 😁 Some great boofs in there. Looks like a perfect one for the Code. 👌🏽
That’s exactly where that design shines
The river is called Tremont? What section is it?
This is the headwater of the treemont real name of the river is Middle Prong Of the Little well that is what its called on the map
@@WadeHarrison cool thanks
@@WadeHarrison definitely on my list. Looks like a solid run!!
@@WadeHarrison What class is it and where is it located?
@@jehu-kayak I would say easy class 4 and it’s located right outside the town of Townsend TN I’m the smokiest mountains
Man that looks so fun !
It very fun just a little bit of a drive for me or I would do it more
Looking good in that Code buddy 🤙 looks like a really fun boat!
it seem to shine even more on runs like this

Great video Wade. Run a cross at the moment but did run a mamba. Really got me wanting to switch back to the code 🤔
Do you have one?
@@WadeHarrison not yet but judging by all the positive reviews could be tempted
May have missed it, but what size Code was this?
Dagger code MD
Staying upright Is key.
You make that look so easy
Yeah you see what happened to the guy in the scorch that was behind me

Hahah YeH there’s levels to micro creeks that’s for sure merry Christmas buddy and thanks for watching
5:20 - Awesome - Superman boof!
It is a tricky one that's for sure
Great video mate
Thanks 👍
If you call that micro you really need to come paddle in the UK, that's like a mid to large river. Our ditch runs are truly tiny, and steep.
Lol the treemont is tight creek but yeah I seen some Scotland and UK creeks they are insanely tight
That’s my backyard run!
use to be mine
How does it compare with the dagger redline I’ve had it for a lot off years and thinking of a change
Cool video keep them coming 👌👌🥃🥃
totally different type of boats the redline is a old school playboat
the best paddle
lettman makes a really good paddle
You’re a beast!
have my moments
Is it me, are all the manufactures designing boats for the SE style and Water, not that they all test their design in the GREAT Smokies.
the scorch is not really designed for that trust me we have a lot of great choices out there if your paddling bigger volume stuff go scorch if you more of a mix go Code but both seem to handle big water and creeking pretty good
@@WadeHarrison I was talking about the Code in the group it is, just heard WaveSport has returned to US, looking forward to more choices.
Das dope
Frogy where you been????
@@WadeHarrison yeah sry iv had a packed summer doing lots of stuff also Netflix has made me watch less UA-cam
I personally don’t find the Code to be slow. Much less notoriously.
Compared to what?
micro kreeking? this is full river stuff for Utah. LOL
Yeah I love Utah for mountain biking 🚵♀️
Ladies he lost an inch…
in his back
lol
