The land of the free and the home of the brave - whenever I hear that phrase I think of the indigenous Indians who were in North America before the colonists. Then, they were free and brave. Doesn't take much bravery to massacre people by means of overwhelming numbers and force. And afterward, the land isn't liberated. it's still stolen. Respect to the late writer Vine Deloria, Jr. who taught me a lot.

I pray every night all Indigenous blood may rise again in the Americas and with us may these lands heal!
I remember one of my Scoutmasters reciting this poem to my troop almost ten years ago. I'm grateful someone took the time to make this rendition. A lot of truth and valuable facts of life read in under three minutes. Thank you. 👍
I Live my life in a manner that shields my heart from fthe ear of death. Unafraid because stand close to wisdom.
SOi I love you no matter your religion . I learn from everyone with a humble attitude..
Simple and well said thank you Chief Tecumseh
The legend of the dream catcher. According to legend, the good dreams pass through the center hole to a sleeping person. the bad dreams are trapped in the web, where they perish in the light of the dawn. Thank you to Tecumpsa- who joined us in our odds of 2 in 7.3 trillon a little over 3 years ago. Your loyalty will never be forgotten.
I am greatful for all of the good that we are bringing home to Isadore.
I am so honored the words were shared with me... Truly honored... Thank you...
This poem is my life mantra. I wish many more would follow this path.
A beautiful path indeed.
Great Quote, There are only two options, make progress or make excuses.
Words of true true wisdom. Must respect for all living and those who are living in a different way.

Truly profound and yet such a simple lesson that we can learn from as we make our way through this life.
Best thing of it is that, even if you struggle yourself, you still want to help others
*Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.*

Have a great day!
Thank you, have a wonderful day as well. And thank you for this quote, it really resonates 💖
This is what I tell all my girl friends.
Well i realize it now that my life was much better 5 years earlier. We're all healthy and happy 💐
"Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home."
Powerful words.
Oh , so many precious and as gem sentences, that calls the life lesson that all the individual people around the world step them up or perform it , very lovable channel , thanks
Thanks. Words to ponder. More than 200 years ago and still relevant. Probably not the last time I'll listen to this.
Red Frost motivation has achieved perfection. My all-time favorite poem read by my all-time favorite narrator...🤤

Live, laugh, and love 😊!!
Never look down on anyone. We're all a part of the human family.
Every day all of us has a choice between 2 wolves to listen to. One speaks of love and compassion, the other speaks of fear and hate.
The choice is yours to make.
Make the most of your life.
Many blessings to you dear friend...
Carpe diem!!

I really like and totally agree to this wonderful wisdom of life. I myself actually live according to a similar life philosophy, and these words express it so well:
“When you arise in the morning, give thanks for food and the joy of living. If you see no reason to give thanks, the blame lies only on yourself.”

Incredible video and speech. I completely agree and want to live out all the wisdom spoken by Chief Tecumseh. What great wisdom and honor he had. Socialism has now destroyed the natives and their greatness. Its a true shame.
That was good to hear. Like I wish people was more like this in the world.. respect from Australia peace to all.
I am an Australian from European origins. For some unknown reason the spirit of Native American Indians lives in me. I do not know why. But I know it makes me a better person. It ties me to nature and creation

😔 Thank you for this and I hope Everybody enjoyed it.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
God Bless The Native Americans✨
I trek through the Shawnee National Forest almost weekly, even if by accident, seems so strange that a man of such substance and insight walked ages before and I can still barely grasp the wisdom that he provides.
Life is strange and wonderful.
Such a spiritual people were these men 🌈🙏🌟
I used to listen to this every day...need to resume doing so, for life can get so deep that one can't seem to see above the waters
Not sure how I came across this but surely extremely grateful that it did! Absolutely needed to hear this. 🙏❤️

The tremendous POWER IN THE WORDS! Words of a warrior😇
The wolf 🐺 on top of the mountain ⛰ is never hungry, the wolf 🐺 climbing the mountain ⛰ is always hungry! We need to be the hungry wolf 🐺 seeking a hunger for knowledge and living a good life!

I love this video. Native Americans share and live with such wisdom.
Good thing I am a machine more than a man and can learn my mother and father raised an unstoppable protector 💙❤
@domicile ubiquitis I have been through a lot of pain that would of ruined others I'm practically not human anymore i dont get tired or hungry and always work hard I'm literally like a Terminator lol
@domicile ubiquitis I've torn open my left leg exposing bone and flesh so it's always damaged and I removed all 32 teeth from my mouth I lost over 100 pounds from that been attacked before in my home state and still won that fight despite being hit in the face with a baseball bat it sucks but I learned a lot from it and we all try our best to be good

Hello Karen
damn
I can see why so many would not like this poem they are the ones stuck in this world, in their egoic mind, captured by their thoughts. We are spiritual beings living a human experience, someone said. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful truth.
Hello Catalina, how are you?
The land of the free and the home of the brave - whenever I hear that phrase I think of the indigenous Indians who were in North America before the colonists. Then, they were free and brave. Doesn't take much bravery to massacre people by means of overwhelming numbers and force. And afterward, the land isn't liberated. it's still stolen. Respect to the late writer Vine Deloria, Jr. who taught me a lot.
i see Pontiac's Rebellion as the first north American War of independence from the British. It led to the Royal Proclamation of 1763, the Treaty of Niagara 1764 ,The Covenant Chain Wampum presented by Sir William Johnson at the conclusion of the Council of Niagara. Those promises were broken, that is the world Tecumseh was born into. Also see curse of tippecanoe
Beautiful. I love the line, “for abuse turns the wise into fools & robs the spirit of its vision.” Listening on Indigenous People’s Day 2021. Thank you for this!
Prepare a noble death song
For the day when I pass over the great divine.
Tecumseh was the wisdom from a father we all need in this day and age.
I always live by these words.I was raised up on the reservation.i so wished that the whole world would live by these words.
love this one cause this guy is one of my ancestors its like hearing words of wisdom from your grandfather
