Dude.... Seriously hats off to the level of detail in not only the cue building but also the video and all the subtle angles/focus. Truly amazing! Lots of people do not understand or appreciate the level of detail and craft that go into making a custom cue and your videos.
You put your heart and soul into your work. It doesn't matter what you are doing. I can tell you are always learning and getting better at your craft/s. If it's pool cues or CNC machines, you want it to be correct and as perfect as you can get. Thanks for the display of craftsmanship you show in all your videos. It's really a great day when I see a Studiotronics new video pop up!
Beautiful cues. With every cue, you find ways to set the bar higher and higher. Your pasion and love for the craft truly shines in your cues. I respect and appreciate the amount of thought and effort you put into each individual cue. I've been around a lot of high-end cues, and your work stands side by side, no doubt. Keep up the hard work and dedication. If your cues play as well as they look, there's no limit to your potential. Watching these videos makes me debate moving on from the old and trying something new. Much respect.
these cues are f---in gorgeous, a friend of mine has his basement almost finished to start the hobby. he watches your videos as a how to do it, and education vids. so thank you for your great channel
I believe that these have got to be two of the most beautiful cue sticks I have ever seen. Sir you are an extremely talented individual in more than one area of expertise. Your knowledge of electronics and mechanical abilities are amazing. Bravo!
Man, that pop sound when you pulled that metal dowel out of what would become the white rings "2:21" reminded me of someone I once knew. I should call her. 😮💨
Very impressive!!! I personally like the Ice over the Fire, but that's just me. Would love to see the Ice cue with blue, ebony and gold using the Asian Satinwood. Never been a fan of wrapped cues - these are perfect!!!
I've been lucky enough to be in some pretty big cuemakers shops over the years. And I have to say, your work is right up there. Cue making is in art form in the highest degree. 👏
I would absolutely love to just shadow you and watch & learn how you masterfully design and craft these beautiful pieces of art!! It's always been a dream of mine to do what you're doing, and at 52yrs old, I think I've finally convinced my wife to greenlight the purchase of a lathe, and possibly a few other cue making tools. I'm sure that most of your success has come from trial and error, so I'm looking forward to the many errors that will certainly come, and hopefully, make me 1/2 as good as you are.
Just discovered your channel yesterday and subscribed. Been binge-watching for hours now. I’ve had only one custom pool cue made for me decades ago and it was nice, but pales in comparison to the extraordinary beauty and craftsmanship I see in your cues. Just exquisite work. Super fun to watch the process and the technology involved in creating these masterpieces is incredible. Thanks for making my 4th of July weekend on UA-cam so relaxing and enjoyable. 🤙🏼
As amazing as your cues are, I must commend you on the production and editing of these videos. They are so well done, with just enough footage and minimal exposition, it parallels your attention to detail regarding your cue making.
I remember the first cue I made. One lathe one milling machine and a drill press, and a lot of sharp tools. Before CNCs were made. It is nice that the new tech machines take out the drudgery of the work and allows for more artistic expression.
Greetings from Slovenia! I'm enjoying every of your cuemaking videos and wish you to make many more beautiful cues. And videos, of course. Theye are so relaxing and instructive.
Absolutely amazing pool cues. I am not sure what part I liked better, seeing all the machining CNC work or the actual outcome of the cues. I operate CNC machines at work and I have a passion for billiards also. Great video!
Absolutely gorgeous cues. I don’t know which one I like better but choosing is an extreme decision like deciding between a Monet and a Cezanne. Liked every minute of this video. Thanks.
Hello, my name is Duke and I am in love with this game of pool. I have been playing for 20 years and I have a table that I play on regularly. I would like to learn how to do this, and almost started purchasing some equipment to get started, its how I found your videos. I just don't have time to take on this massive hobby at this time but I hope to later in life. I am curious if you have a store where you sell the cues you make? Do you do custom cues for customers? Anyway, its great watching you work, you are a true artist.
@@nwcubsfan Lucky to have a cue from EO! How's the hit, can you elaborate? I know it's very subjective but for example almost everyone that has hit a Scruggs or a Lambros swear by them. I myself have hit quite a few and was just curious of your experience. Firm/crisp, soft, subtle? Thanks!
You’re right in that it’s 100% subjective. All I can say is that I like cues that have lots of “action”. Also have 2 Tads and 2 Jacobys. Use 12.5 soft carbon fiber shafts for all. This EO cue has the same feel for me so I love it.
@@nathanrodriguez3268 I came from the metal pin world as a long-time Joss owner. This hit is next level and I love it so much. Rather than the crisp 'ping', I'm getting a solid, muted 'thump' due to the radial pin. I'm in love with the hit. I also have a full splice from Eddie that hits even nicer than this cue (which is an amazing feat since this one hits so beautifully).
Dear Eddie, its truly incredible what craftsmanship you show and you take cue making to another level, out of this world !!! Crazy about your firecue and seriously one of your biggest fans ;-) Also how you adapted the cnc machine and game controller , insane wicked work man 😍 Possible to post where you get this center punch and cut off tool? Have a beautiful day mister!
Thanks for the kind words! The center punch is a Starrett automatic center punch. It’s been left out in the rain, I’ve ran over it with my car, it’s a beast. The cut off tool is an Accusize 1/2” 2415-5024.
That monstrosity in your shop looks like a Cottonwood Borer. I think your shop would look like a buffet to him. Amazing work man, thank you for being a true craftsman.
I think you’re spot on. One of the largest insects in North America. I was fond of him for a few minutes until I learned he could fly when he flew at my face. I’ve seen him a couple times since and there’s definitely some bad blood/tension now.
I don’t know which cue I like more. Only the second video I’ve watched from you and I’m already hooked and a subscriber. How much do you charge for these works of art? Do you have a website with listings and prices?
Really sick cue. Hey I've been emailing you about the status of when you can start my cue. LMK when you get a chance as I am excited to have you start it being dedicated to my Son!
I would love to know how I can get one of your cues been watching your videos for awhile and you make some of the most beautiful cues iv ever seen the love you put into every build is amazing so if you wouldn't mind letting me know how to get one or get in line for you to make one please
Just got back from the Philippines with a few hand crafted cues. I would love to have something of yours in my collection also. This is addicting. I saw you wearing a Austin TX t shirt in a previous video, is that where you're located?
your Cues are amazing and love watching you make them - something i always wanted to learn - these two were top notch... how would one go about ordering one and pricing ?
Have you ever used a plastic called acetal I found it online and have good results with it for ferrules and vault plates. It may have a different name but is very much like delrin.
Those look really nice. Not sure if you talk about this openly but new to the channel. How much did you charge for those pieces? Did I miss a link for the more business side of things versus entertainment?

The Loki part came out amazing. And the upper part on the other cue was amazing. Congrats. And thx for sharing.
God: please let me win the lottery and I'll spend everything on 10 cues. Studiotronics gets the rest. Amazing.
Wow those are absolutely stunning wish I could afford perfection like that!!

8:26 curious why you machine that insert vs. a tenon on the other piece beautiful cues and your electrical expertise is impressive
Hey there, good question! I like to use phenolic for the insert for strength.
This is Art. ❤❤❤
It plays just as awesome as it looks...Thanks EO for a phenomenal cue!
As the owner of the other cue...I concur.

As always freaking perfection. What would the cost run on a Medusa style cue
That would be nuts to see a cue styled after that. It is a really good idea.
Thật sự quá đẳng cấp❤️
Thanks!
