    As a hobbyist woodworker for the last 20+ years I can't overstate enough how much skill it takes to make something like this. Hardest part is understanding how wood behaves so not only is the cue perfectly straight when they make it but stays straight over its lifetime

    • @MICKEYISLOWD
      @MICKEYISLOWD 9 місяців тому

      Same with Guitar timbers for straightness, twist and water removal. If moisture changes it can all go wrong and repairs cost a fortune.

    Back in the 70's Richard Helmstetter went to Japan to start up the Adam billiard company from America. The cue making process you are watching right now was mostly set up by Mr. Helmstetter himself. After that he went on to invent the Callaway Big Bertha driver in the 90's. Both Billiard/pool, and Golf industry owe great gratitude towards to this man.

      Actually the company was spearheaded by Yuji Miki long, long before Helmstetter's involvement and before it was called "Adam" cues. They made many "signature" series and countless other series under- for other brands as well.

      That’s nothing about handicraft , that’s a serial cue model , production time depends on the moisture content of the wood , that means when you doing some professional handicraft cue , you just can’t assemble all parts in one video , I don’t know how much this cue costs , I see which materials was used and how , for me this isn’t game instrument , I see a souvenir here
