Is there a difference between lawyer=avocat and avocado=avocat other then the context of how the noun is used? I enjoy your videos! Keep up the good work.
How do you differentiate in speech ce bonbon from ces bonbons? You read the same. You look at the est/sont? What if you don't use est/sont? Could there be such an example where you don't know whether it's singular or plural?
Hey I have some questions about the exercises on the grammar book. (for this lesson) I looked up on the answers keys, but it doesn't explain my mistakes. I was doing EX: 1.29, Questions 3, Is it wrong if I wrote, "Mon oncle est cet homme"? and as well question 6: "Depuis semaines elle a des cette idée"?
Hi :) The first one isn't wrong but that's a weird way to say it. The second one doesn't make much sense for grammar. Des has to be before a noun, plural noun in this case. So Elle a cette idée depuis des semaines :)
Thanks Dylan, when you pronounce water, you say it differently to other French pronunciation I have heard on insta. Usually it’s said with like a capital O sound in English. Are there different acceptable pronunciations?
You're explaining very quick, you should make a chart or show all examples on the screen, it's just my feedback but when it comes to the message, it was understandable 👌🏼
Felix I agree! I had horrible tenants upstairs at that time and had 5 minutes windows of quiet to film. Now it’s better so the lessons will be less rushed :)
Im sorry, but i dont seem to understand😢You said in the first example for masculin singulier we use “ce” and then you said “ce bonbon” but isnt the noun “candy” in the gender feminine? Cause its like one candy and two candys..
I highly recommend this whole playlist to French learners!
Thank you 🤩

Technically ce and ces have different pronunciations:)
Hi Dylane, great lesson as always. How would you distinguish between saying "this" and "that" please. Mike
