When you consider The Beatles called it quits after 8 years, Duran's career of 40+ years of continuous NEW great music - is remarkable. Nothing stops them. May they continue forever.
They split their money equally from the start, and so there was no arguing over money, which has been the death of great bands. This made it easier for the original members to reunite in the early 2000s.
If I may, his voice not only has remained the same, but it has improved!! I was a Spandau fan, but I have always appreciated Duran Duran. Those were real singers.

Same here. Headbanger and DD fan since the 80's , too. And most of my "brothers of metal" love DD also. of course, it's quality recognised. Sad they rarely play my favourite tune, The Seventh Stranger (not The Seventh Son🤭)
Saw Duran at Hyde Park this summer. My 5th decade of seeing them live... 87, 89, 93, 95, 2004 (twice!) And now 2022. Missed the last decade somehow! They are just incredible... Sheer class! To the person who recorded this...Thank You 🙏🏼

Fourty years of success, such amazing performances, perfect vocals, line ups, it´s UNBELIAVABLE!!!! The older they get, the more elegant, handsome they become! THIS IS DD!!!
Simon is still fucking fantastic. Loved them since the 80s. Seen them many times live over the years, and I'll keep going to their concerts until they stop or performing or I die.

they are very good but not the level of the other timeline.... over there they are just unbelievable.... still this here is very good especially wild boys
I saw them in Birmingham, England last week - it was basically this exact set list and stag design. They were great- Simon's singing was strong and the band were all really tight. I didn't realize until now how much John's bass really drives their sound.
Wow, Simon's stamina for his age is impressive. His voice still has his unique, clear tone. The others have all gotten better and better on their instruments over time, and together they sound great! I wish I could go to one of their 2022 concerts. I was in my 20s in the 80s and DD is one of the top bands in the soundtrack of my 20s. The wild boys still rock!
Because of these guys I speak fluent English. My eternal gratitude, Duran Duran... Please please please come to Brazil!!!!! It gave me goosebumps when I saw on their Setlist "Hold back the rain", "Friends of mine" and "White lies"!!!!!
A pop band that actually rocks!!! Always been impressed their ability to bring their “produced” sound to the stage and make it even better. Love the compositions as well
Duran Duran is one of my favourite bands! They have a very unique sound and the ability to stir something in the listener in every song! They sound amazing! I love Simon's voice and the energy in their performance. Nick, John and Simon put on a fabulous show!

they give me goosebumps like when I listened to them in the 80s and 90s or young people today unfortunately for them they cannot understand .... today's music is not even comparable .... luckily we have them lived !
Plus, today's music has so much cussing, sexuality up the wall, degrading, and racism in it, I can't call that music. I'm an 80's child!! Now that's music and talent. Duran Duran!!4 ever!!
These guys were our teen heart throbs. I never saw them in concert until 2022 Loved their music then and amazingly now. They sound terrific. This was definitely on my bucket list and I'm glad I went. Fabulous!
Gracias DD.
I’m not really a fan. I took my wife as a treat for her and I was absolutely blown away. The best gig I’d been to since Muse at Wembley in 2007 by a country mile.
You can see that Simon, John, Nick, Roger (and yes, Dom) STILL love playing these songs and this concert is a celebration of the ongoing history of Duran Duran. They aren't just an "Eighties" band (and for that matter a "Nineties" band") - they are still relevant, they still make great albums, even though they only make an album every 4-6 years. Their new music is still fantastic. I bought "Carnival" in 1982 and have bought literally everything they've released since then. I can't imagine listening to music without having this band in my life.

Been a fan of Duran Duran since 1983. Have all their Vinyl LP records locked up in a closet mixed with Madonna original earlier works 😂. I was about 100 meters away on one of their concerts in Mohegan Sun a few years back; still the best!! The instruments used are locked in a time capsule. Every time when I hear that certain song. I knew where I was as a teen while the tune played. One word: “Stay handsome” and play on; keeping that dream alive!!
This concert was amazzzing to watch. They still sound great. Ain't no prerecorded, autotuned trickery here. Just pure talent. Real instruments. Real voices. Nice. Fantabulous.

I'm a metalhead but love Duran Duran since the 80's. Still a fantastic band!
Good that you recognise it
I appreciate Metal too!!
Same lol
To the person who recorded this...Thank You 🙏🏼
You're welcome Kelly
@@acrfactor❤❤
Simply the ICONIC, DURAN DURAN!! ❤❤❤
This is crazy how incredible this is. They have captured the magic and energy of the 80”s like no other band comes close to doing. Truly astonishing I can’t stop rewatching…they are the best band in the world in 2022….amazing
You're right! BIG DD show
this is amazing how well they perform.... very good level
@@michelleper5065 definitely 🙂
@@bannedlist3451 UNBELIAVBLE performance, they play so well, le bon is realy mad with the timeline, no joke, if he make them play at this level.... he feels like he needs to prove something, this is outstanding performance!
@@michelleper5065 You are so right, it’s extremely fast paced I couldn’t believe my ears and had to watch this concert 3 times! I feel like watching it again 😂
You’re cool 😎 nice chat 🙂
The Legend never die.
Duran Duran is my #1 Band in the 80’s , they are still awesome and voices never changed. Watched their concert in San Francisco Chase Center recently 9/4. It’s phenomenal! Everyone is having fun, singing and dancing to his music..
The show is a BIG party!
Yes!
As bad live now as he was then 😂
huge succes for DURAN DURAN - like a dream
Fourty years of success, such amazing performances, perfect vocals, line ups, it´s UNBELIAVABLE!!!! The older they get, the more elegant, handsome they become! THIS IS DD!!!
It seems so...
@@acrfactor "perfect vocals"😮 Most of the notes he sings are flat and sometimes he's almost out of voice.
Was there (had to leave a wedding half way), such a great show! Duran Duran on a class of their own!
They still sound so amazing. And Simon still sounds just as good now as he did back in the '80s.
That's a fact!
You're dreaming. The Wild Boys rendition showed how much he has lost. Still an icon though.
@@eheim21 He is hoarse in this show but that is not typical, he hasn't lost anything yet.
OMG you guys freaking rock. I’m 72 and just absotootly love this. You’re every bit as good as Live Aid. Love love love you.
Man that band is still number one! Simon's voice is fantasique!
I was there, fantastic show. Saw them before in 2005 still with Andy and they very much on the top of their game. Voltem depressa!
Simon is still fucking fantastic. Loved them since the 80s. Seen them many times live over the years, and I'll keep going to their concerts until they stop or performing or I die.
Listen to them ----audience & their Duran Duran forever.
Duran Duran is my favorite Band, I was 18 years old at that time, bought an original tape from U.S. Now I am 56 and I still love them..
The sound quality of this is amazing. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Jason, glad that you like it!
there are on another level compared to most other bands even in the other timeline.... they can play very well, and their songs are very good, they perform very well
I was overwhelmed with emotion and joy.
It gives me strength that they are still a great band.
Thank you D.D!
Yes Sir, they are!
Just saw them in Chicago 2 days ago and they were way beyond expectations. Their energy was incredible.
Yeah, they beautifully aging with the times
they are very good but not the level of the other timeline.... over there they are just unbelievable.... still this here is very good especially wild boys
O MAN i never seen them live. Was Hungry Like The Wolf the best song to dance too?
I saw them in Birmingham, England last week - it was basically this exact set list and stag design.
They were great- Simon's singing was strong and the band were all really tight.
I didn't realize until now how much John's bass really drives their sound.
Wow, Simon's stamina for his age is impressive. His voice still has his unique, clear tone. The others have all gotten better and better on their instruments over time, and together they sound great! I wish I could go to one of their 2022 concerts. I was in my 20s in the 80s and DD is one of the top bands in the soundtrack of my 20s. The wild boys still rock!
That's right!
As you said : Wow! A lesson, a masterclass.
Because of these guys I speak fluent English. My eternal gratitude, Duran Duran... Please please please come to Brazil!!!!! It gave me goosebumps when I saw on their Setlist "Hold back the rain", "Friends of mine" and "White lies"!!!!!
How come?
Sea of lights on Save a Prayer is so amazing....
so emotional...
A pop band that actually rocks!!! Always been impressed their ability to bring their “produced” sound to the stage and make it even better. Love the compositions as well
Bass guitar in Planet Earth as always the best, John Taylor you rules !
Bass god
omigawd thank you posting👩🎤👩🎤👩🎤i was transported to beina a teenager again😢😢 simon's vocals are strong as ever👏👏👏💖💜
You are more than welcome!!! Cheers
I LOVE DURAN DURAN !!! 💓🥰😍 DURAN DURAN FOREVER...❤❤❤🎸🎤
😁❤️🌹
When you see DuranDuran looking old it reminds you that your getting old too
Unfortunately it's irreversible
When I see them still rocking their age it makes me feel invincible and ageless❤
After 40 years only the age of us is changed but the sounds , and the music of this band is still the same awesome
Absolutely!
Duran Duran is one of my favourite bands! They have a very unique sound and the ability to stir something in the listener in every song! They sound amazing! I love Simon's voice and the energy in their performance. Nick, John and Simon put on a fabulous show!
Thanks JDC! You sais it all
they are sounding so great here.... that it makes today bands... better not go there... but they sound much better than bon jovi... he sings so well they play so well... their backup girls on vocals sounds just as good as tears for fears... this is incredible performance.... best of 2020's up to now by far up there with tears for fears but something here was extra
they give me goosebumps like when I listened to them in the 80s and 90s or young people today unfortunately for them they cannot understand .... today's music is not even comparable .... luckily we have them lived !
Shitty music nowadays
Plus, today's music has so much cussing, sexuality up the wall, degrading, and racism in it, I can't call that music. I'm an 80's child!! Now that's music and talent. Duran Duran!!4 ever!!
These guys were our teen heart throbs. I never saw them in concert until 2022 Loved their music then and amazingly now. They sound terrific. This was definitely on my bucket list and I'm glad I went. Fabulous!
Exactly bro👍
Same, I've got tix to see them in September - definite bucket list for me!
I will be seeing them next month, I'm excited because it will my first time. I am a fan since I was 13in the early 80s!❤
I'm going to see them in June! So excited because I grew up in a small town and never got to go to concerts in the 80s.
Just Amazing!
Certified "DURANIE" here...my all-time favorite pop band since my high school days back in 1983...thank you for sharing this...❤
You're welcome Cesar
what the hell, how can they sound just better than ever... they sound amazing..lucky people being there!!
Right!
Thank you Simon and guys for your unwavering support! It means a lot♥️🫂🇺🇦
I’m not really a fan. I took my wife as a treat for her and I was absolutely blown away.
The best gig I’d been to since Muse at Wembley in 2007 by a country mile.
No prejudice
Fantastici Duran Duran 😀
Tanti cari saluti dall' Italia. Ciaooo 😀👋🏻👋🏻
Nice statement
Perfectly said.
I just saw them last night in Fort Worth Texas. I'm a die hard rocker but man, these guys were amazing!! I'll definitely see them again!!
You are being converted by these guys😄
@@acrfactor I've always dug Planet Earth & Girls On Film. Funny, I saw Rob Zombie the week before & enjoyed both. But then again I've seen Prince & Slayer in the same month back in the day lol.
@@andrewmunoz2109 lol I’m the same! I’m seeing the Pantera reunion in Aug and mainly attend metal shows. I saw Mercyful Fate and Megadeth last fall. But I also have a love for 80s new wave and secured a Duran Duran and The Cure tickets for June in Atlanta. 🤘
My favorite band ever.
Simon is killing it here vocally & delivering a powerhouse performance. Force of nature!
It stays fit. Such a nice surprise
I LOVE this and I LOVE Simon's pants, so cool!!!
Thanks Bridget!
Bass lines are throbbing sweet!!
Indeed
Man, they sound fantastic! Simon's voice is in tip-top shape!
They do! thanks for watching
Especially when you you know how old he already is. There aren't that many singers who still going on strong
These guys sound better live as they age. Incredible energy, they haven’t slowed down a bit. Simon’s voice is better then ever. Best band that came out of the 80’s. Depeche Mode and Duran Duran are my favourites.
Indeed!
‘Save a prayer’ will always be a big favorite. It always brings me back to my trip through Sri Lanka in 1993…..
Lucky you to visit Sri Lanka on that time. Now, due to the hurricanes you can't find most of the places present on the video
Just saw these guys in Chicago tonight and have to say it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. I’ve followed this band since the very beginning and was beyond excited to have been able to see them In person! Definitely worth the wait!!! ♥️♥️♥️
Was it different from this show?
Same here, since the beginning, seeing them tonight.. can't wait.
I've only seen them in person a few times but even watching on UA-cam you never get the sense it's dialed in, they seem hapoy to do it.
Going tonight to see them. This 50 year old is super excited to see my old crush Simon💕
@@1Momyx Have a nice concert and please don't faint 😀
wow Duran Duran still sound great after so many year playing and all their songs bring good memories. thanks to the band for allowing us to watch their recent concert this year Duran Duran songs never will die.
That was a very good surprise they still have the same energy as before. And of course their songs are inmortal
@@acrfactor a real dream !!
My god they sound every bit as good as 40 years ago when I was in my 20s and in crush with Simon and John. Simon sounds fantastic
Thank you for playing rain 😅my fav mixes well and sounds great in concert !
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
They've still got it! They really entertain and really enjoy themselves.
It's a pleasure to see them perform
Fan since 1982 I think! Saw them in 85 or 86 in Ahoy Rotterdam. What great great great band!!!!!!
Sure they are ;)
🤞
White lines live, wooooo
This concert was amazzzing to watch. They still sound great. Ain't no prerecorded, autotuned trickery here. Just pure talent. Real instruments. Real voices. Nice. Fantabulous.
where does the sound come from?
this is beyond amazing.... super performance from the whole band, especially Simon Le Bon, wow simply wow... I love the old songs Friends of Mine and Hold back the rain.... this is the music of my childhood (in Union of the snake Simon asks how many remember Duran Duran from 40 years ago, I am one of those who remembers and loved the reflex and union of the snake from 1980s first playing on the radio........ this Band is so good, wow. May they keep on rocking..... so happy to see this... will go to seem them live if they ever come back to Dubai.. I attended their live show in Abu Dhabi back in 90's it was magical.
It was amazing to see the whole band still got the sound, vocals, energy, charisma and star power which was captured on film on "as the lights go down"... super sound quality also in 2022.... much respect to Duran Duran ! These are true rock and roll stars.
John Taylor is one of the greatest ever bass players ... Nick Rhodes is a genius with the keyboard, those sounds are so good, Roger Taylor wow that rhythm section with JT, Simon's vocals are ageless (how does he do it?). Tom Brown lead guitar, the saxophone player and both the backing vocalists are so good too.... wow.
40 years !!!!! How many bands can sound, perform and look this awesome after 40 years?
You are right, and thanks for your extent post
I’ve seen every Duran Duran concert in Atlanta since 1984! They were my first love 💕 and have always been my favorite boys 😊
I’ve seen them everytime they are in the Seattle area for the past 15 years and every show is just better than the next. They are still just SO GOOD!
the legend ❤️❤️👍👍🇮🇩
