I was in Milan for the Saturday night concert with my wife and daughter, and it was Epic!!!! Dave Gahan performed with such joy and seemed so loose. You could tell the whole band was not just performing a concert; they were living the concert, in the moment, and one with the audience. Depeche Mode sounds as good now or better than they did back in their heyday in the 1980s-90s. The Milan crowd is also the best; forty thousand plus people singing and dancing; pure joy!!!

As massive as they have been I still think they have been so underrated by the mainstream and deserved so much more recognition than they ever received. A band that inspired a generation and influenced so many with their totally unique sound that has never been replicated to the same level. Thank you Dave, Martin, Andrew, Alan and Vince.
