I use #12 Cheif Architect pro in the residential construction business. My son uses #6 AutoCAD in his commercial design work.
I have zero experience with this stuff... is it relatively easy to grasp?
I didn't think it was too difficult, but so much to learn. I'm self taught by watching many videos but may take a class sometime. My wife's nephew also gave me some pointers.@@slinenjr8767

Can you make a updated version of this? More of software that add beams and pipes based on design and still editable. Less of software that get used for vfx, character rigging, only give the shape of the wall, etc.
If I need to upload an elevation of my house, to use to render a new upstairs patio above a garage, and window replacement into doors, stone fascade exterior facing, and indicate a new side yard patio with walls, plants, and fountains,..which is the best choice?

For US residential chief architect is to me one of the simpler and best, for more modern block and concrete non American structures I like Archicad better !

Don't be fooled. Cheif architect seems cool but their price tag $2000/yr is absurd. Revit depending on your usage you can start using it for $300 for 100 days.
Would be nice if you actually had links for ALL of the programs in the details. As it is, this is POINTLESS if you can't find the software!
If you can't even search for them on Google how do you expect to use them? Most of these programs have steep learning curves, if a google search is difficult just give up.
