I'm currently a sophomore in high school, but I know that I want to go to JMU, for sure. Your videos have been a great source of help and information and they're making me super excited to finally apply and hopefully get accepted. I've always struggled making friends and I'm hoping that JMU will prove to be an easier atmosphere to become comfortable in. Keep up the good work!!

Hello, fellow vegan! It's great to know that JMU has vegan options on campus. Shall I worry about Freshman 15? lol. I've been watching several videos convincing me to go to this school and yours is by far the most genuine and comforting. I finished two years at another 4-year institution, but I'm transferring because my school sadly did not offer what I decided I wanted to study and pursue in terms of my degree and interests. I should hear back in November if I'll be accepted for the Spring or not. Making this switch is difficult for me because of the shift in comfort-zone, however I'm glad there are so many clubs and organizations on campus so I can find my niche :) Oh! and I have a question about campus living. As a transfer student for this upcoming semester there aren't anymore housing contracts for the spring so I was wondering if you knew what the off-campus housing scene was like? Is it absolutely necessary to have a car on campus? Or is the JMU bus a reliable form of transportation? Thank you so much for the video and I hope to possibly cross paths with you in the future!

Alyssa Maring Hi!!! So glad you reach out to me! If you are a healthy eater I would worry about freshman 15 buuuuut JMu's Food is good! I live off campus this year! I have been enjoying it! Feels really different than living off campus! You don't need a car to go on campus! I don't have a car and I have been using the bus and getting rides from my friends! The bus systems is great it just will take you a little longer to go places! Concerning the housing, do you know which appartement complex you are going to live in? I could tell you what i hear about it! I feel like most cheap (or even expensive ) places are not that nice. They know you don't have another choice but to go with it! But you get used to it and can easily overlook it! I am definitely going to make a new room tour and probably touch up on those points!
Can you make a video about how to apply at an US-University as an international student, how you finance your education and what the visa process is like? I'm from Europe and I was planning to apply in the US aswell but the entire process seems very confusing to me...

Coucou! Mlheurese;emt je n'ai pas vraiment de conseiller pour les bourses! Je suis sure auu'il y a plein d'options. Une chose à se rappeller est que le plus d'argent une université à le plus de chances tu peux obtenir de l'argent de leur part. Je te conseillerai de regarder des universités privées et de voir si ils offrent des bourses de merite
Have you had a lot of big classes? And how many students were in your biggest class?

Most of my big classes have been gened, which has nothing to do with your major and it's around 150 people. My bigeest major classes are 50 people which feels pretty small
