HAhaha "don't be scared for it! you'll be on it for less than a second!" I think this will do the trick in my confidence, looking forward to face my first rail then
Started learning boxes and rails this season. I'm progressing pretty good on boxes but, I am finding rails to be a "challenge". I've been watching your videos(and others) and they are helping for sure. The rails/tubes that are exactly like you were showing are definitely easier to start on but, the urban on rails I find to be a whole different level of skill. I am over committing to try to learn how to get on but, I can't seem to stay centered over the rail. I am either sliding off the toe side or the heel side(mostly the toe side). I can't get the "feel" for keeping my board on the rail. 🤔🤷🏻♂️ I don't have anyone to ride with and I'm sure that would help. I've gotten wrecked a few times but, I know continued "time on snow/rails" will help me learn to find that "feel/skill" to stay on and progress past a simple 50/50. You all make rails look so freakin' easy, it's both extremely frustrating and inspiring. Thanks for the videos Jonathan and keep yourself safe! 😎👍👊❤️🏂 Randy
“Hopefully your park is like copper mountain and has an insane entry level park” hahahahaha I wish. We got one park and all of its 6 features are terribly built LOL
...and EVERY park rider (Central & Peace), go through there, so you have people charging up your ass all day and on the flip side, beginners side jumping off the ramps all day, crushing, them, so they all become urban ons in a couple hours with huge divots for the landings, so you basically need to carry the landings about 4 ft. or you get bucked. Yea, great entry to rails park. NOT!!! Copper needs to move their parks away from the pizza freeway.
I find ride on rails to be super easy and kill them but just get too sketched out of hitting any kind of urban on rail and can't build up the courage to hit them..

As an instructor, I will say that this was a simple, direct explanation. Great Job Jonathan!

I like that idea!
Great tips JB 🤟🏻🤟🏻
If only we had snow here... 😩
Sorry I’m late but this was very helpful, if you could, can you show us how to do tricks on and off of rails
THIS IS WUT I NEED!
Heck yeah bro!
any tips to go over a kink in a kinked rail?
Any tips on hitting boxes that are at a slight downward or upward angle?
Ooooo great video idea. I would say just stay stacked at first the features will feel the same. I promise
Can you do a vid on how to boardslide rails and boxes?
How do you frontside boardslide those same rails. I’m always scared going much more than 45 and feel like my approach is bad
Look where you are going
Start smart, but start somewhere
If you have a buddy that knows how to hit rails take them with you
Send it 🤘🏻
I refresh everyday in hopes of a new video
What's up Team Buckhouse!!! 🏂
Yooo bro!!!
Tries the rails at Beaver Creek today, extremely sticky. Any tips?
There's not really any tips for it.. the rails are just sticky from nobody hitting the rails and/or the park crew not waxing the rails
Can you show how to turn on a board

I’ve already hit a tube, didn’t know that counts as a rail

Your instructional videos are very similar to Tommy Bennett’s videos. Your mannerisms and voice are almost identical

The first time is always the scariest once you do it it gets so much easier
