    To me Levan looked even superior in that kinda lost wrist & disadvantageous position. Because while Devon was supposed to be the one attacking he was shaking and redlining while Levan seemed pretty comfortable holding. Levan's side pressure and back pressure was overwhelming.

      As much of a fan of Devon I am and I really wanted the upset, there is no way Devon beats Levan in any scenario. Devon only wins if Levan is hurt. He has too much power and size. It’s a good story and nice to think he can win but not at his size snd age. Devon isn’t built the same and couldn’t put on enough size and strength in a healthy way to compete with Levan. It’s facts. Devon would need to be 30-40kg heavier with muscle and his frame wouldn’t support it. He would have just been injured again doing this which is why I think the 2-4 rounds went the way they did. He gave 100% in round one and would have been injured doing anything more in the other rounds. I hope he does well in the lower weight class.

    • @lesterismyname
      @lesterismyname 4 місяці тому +1

      Levan would go outside and through Devon's shoulder/arm. Way too big and way too strong. Devon's only chance was being able to take his hand and force Levan into a compromised position where Devon was strongest and Levan was weakest. Didn't happen... Sadly.

    In my opinion i was hyped when i saw it, but then on round 2 after i saw how Levan won...
    nah dude, i know Devon has the stamina, we all know he has the stamina.
    Levan played with him to make the "moment" more epic, no matter what Levan says, Levan just didnt go full power, he just went full power to keep it in the middle for a bit, so it keeps suspense and to make it memorable like "I didnt go full power, to make everyone hyped up"
    That's what it looked like tome.
    if you look at round 1, maybe he was afraid... wtf you mean? he already tried full power previously with many others, he knew he was good to go. even at full power.
    He played everyone, with the fake video... with the first round "oh devon is close... maybe devon will win"
    nah... he just showed everyone how easy it is if yo uhave 50kg extra on someone.

    All these explanations from everyone are getting out of hand.
    1. The gap is HUGE. EXTREME.
    2. Levan was feeling out his wrist r1. After he sensed no danger, he let loose. Simple.

    That's just false, the longer the round went the more Levan's wrist was bending back and Devon had the height from the start, which is why when levan regripped he got far worse position. Then he tried going sideways and his wrist almost completely buckled, which is why he went into the flop in the first place. No one wins a defensive match against, Devon, there is nobody with better outside endurance who understands efficiency like he does.

    • @0xBlez
      @0xBlez 4 місяці тому +6

      When you use your %80 and other guy is at his max, even if you have worse endurance you can still last longer because of less stress on the muscles. I think that's how Levan can beat everyone in endurance

    • @XYZZYX-g3l
      @XYZZYX-g3l 4 місяці тому +8

      Good that you admit and confirm my viewpoint that Devon "had the height from the start" which was 100% cheated setup (no REFS). Levan started in SUPINATED position (like Denis always is), so its hard to top-roll over that. But my friend Levan is ultra high iq and didnt waste energy in trying to top-roll over this. You know the results.
      I disagree with your assertion that Devon got Levan wrist the longer the round went. It was just neutral.
      The endurance myth of Devon got already many times debunked. Devon has basically no endurance. Just watch Levan or Genadi matches. NO endurance whatsoever because endurance is only a byproduct of strenght. If you dont have enough strenght, your endurance is ZERO.

      @opchannel6-hn8hf 4 місяці тому

      @@XYZZYX-g3l Lmao i can't tell if you're trolling or genuinly this clueless. We know that Devon has elite endurance from his 20+ years of pullign where he consistently gets better as the match goes on and almost never blows leads in supermatches. As for Genadi, if you want to talk about bs in the set up, genadi was essentially allowed to start in a flop press and Devon was forced sto start woth his should all the way back which made it difficult to prevent genadi from flopping him. Still the match was close inside and Devon hadn't trained inside for a long time, which is why his inside muscular endurance wasn't as good as it is with his outside pulling. As for the Levan match, you're just lying if you say the wrists were in neutral position lmao, you can literally go back and watch the tape, Levan's wrist continuously goes back with every dumb regrip and he surges side ways and it almost completely buckles under Devon's hand, which is why he went for the flop press immediately from there. If Levan was smart, he would hit straight outside from the onset like he did in the rest of the rounds, instead of trying to win an endurace battle with Devon while pulling completely wrong.

    • @XYZZYX-g3l
      @XYZZYX-g3l 4 місяці тому

      @@opchannel6-hn8hf I am neither of the ones you listed. I am genuinly CLUEFUL. Devons endurance is a MYTH. there is no correlate in reality that exists. Endurance in itself is fiction/only a by-product of strength. strength over time. Nothing except STRENGTH exists.
      "We know that Devon has elite endurance from his 20+ years of pullign where he consistently gets better as the match goes on and almost never blows leads in supermatches"
      Doesnt matter against SHW and people with strength.
      "As for Genadi, if you want to talk about bs in the set up, genadi was essentially allowed to start in a flop press and Devon was forced sto start woth his should all the way back which made it difficult to prevent genadi from flopping him"
      Devon always cheats in the setup. But he is just bad against people who dont allow that or are smarter than him. Devon would never complain because he believes in total war. Regarding the specific match against Genadi there is to say that Devon got everything he wanted. He also started in a flop press position. The real game was who could and will start in a flop position first and could execute it.This is what Devon told after the match. Devon adapted to Genadi and started in a flop press and then gained 1 round.
      Regarding the Levan match. Neutral grip. Levan couldnt advance because of the setup and the consequence. Watch birdview or like Engin said, the wrist was intact (and not like someone would say "CRACKED back"). meanwhile devon lost his wrist every round. no time to talk about that it seems. Talk to me about neutrality.
      As I said. round 1 was a fluke. SETUP. Just watch the setup. Nothing else matters. Round 1 would have looked like later rounds if not for the setup.

    If Levan had flop pressed Ermes, would Ermes have been beaten worse than Devon?
    I’m wondering how Ermes will deal with Levan’s flop press.
    It seems like Devon needs to train arm strength and Ermes needs to train hand strength. Maybe they should collaborate and train together.

    I honestly don't know what to make of this. Sure, Levan is probably stronger in almost every single field than Devon, but by not pressing he would have worn himself out too.. I don't think he could have taken Devon as easily as he did during everything after round one, if he didn't use his press. Probably still would have won, I'm just saying that it could have been a bit more interesting if he stuck to his regular style.
    It's armwrestling at the highest level at the end of the day, where the boundaries of the sport are challenged to its highest degree, and every single small mistake can be punished.
