Interesting, but, unless I missed it, what is the highest level possible for this “video game” like” concept?

Thank you for the recommendation! The *Garuda Purana* is indeed a profound text that offers detailed insights into life, death, and the afterlife. It’s a valuable resource for anyone interested in understanding these concepts from a spiritual and philosophical perspective. I appreciate you bringing it up-it's always enriching to explore wisdom from different traditions. (LMC)

Hi. Whenever I hear the usual speculative jargon about "energy levels", "vibrations", and "tapping into a greater consciousness", a great wave of skepticism washes over me. Adding "mathematics" and "rational" to the mix is a fresh touch, but won't shed any light unless you toss in an equation or two. I do believe in reincarnation, but not for any reasons you state.
1/ It doesn't require the "great universal consciousness" to spend eternity slogging away as a petty magistrate in the court of "human sins", when he/she could be out on the golf course lowering his/her handicap.
2/ Reincarnation in a moral universe needs us to return to earth to fix up the mess we made last time, (or get our reward as the case may be). "What we gave is what we'll get" has a sublime sense of justice about it.
3/ Just as evolution has been about physical improvement, so reincarnation must be about moral improvement.
4/ It's all self regulating, which keeps God's paperwork down to a minimum. (None in fact.)
    Eternal Cheers, P.R.

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful comment. I appreciate your skepticism and the clarity with which you’ve outlined your views on reincarnation and the concepts often associated with it. It’s always valuable to hear different perspectives, especially when they challenge common ideas.
I completely understand your skepticism about terms like "energy levels" and "vibrations." They can often seem vague or speculative without a clear, rational basis. I aim to bridge the gap between these spiritual concepts and a more grounded, logical approach, though I acknowledge that adding mathematical or rational elements may not satisfy everyone without concrete examples.
Your perspective on reincarnation as a process of moral improvement resonates deeply with many traditions and philosophies. The idea that we return to correct past mistakes or to reap the rewards of our actions has a profound sense of justice and personal responsibility. It aligns well with the notion that evolution-whether physical, moral, or spiritual-is a continuous journey of growth and refinement.
The self-regulating nature of this process, as you mentioned, suggests a universe that operates with inherent justice, requiring minimal intervention. It’s an elegant view that respects both the complexity and simplicity of universal laws.
Thank you again for sharing your insights. They add depth to the conversation and provide valuable food for thought for those exploring these profound questions. (LMC)

@@thelongevitymastery Hi T.L.M. Thank you for your substantial reply, it's a pleasure to converse with people who consider the deeper side of our existence.
Despite my flippant sense of humor about God preferring golf over church on Sunday mornings, I believe in God, although I'm not religious.
I believe your "vibrations" and "energy levels" are actually about harmonizing our consciousness with Truth. Harmony with truth is called truthfulness, or "being honest", and if God is Truth then honesty is "being as one" with truth.
Science has identified four absolutes, 1/ The speed of light. 2/ Absolute zero temperature. 3/ Absolute gravity in a black hole (A singularity). 4/ Whatever pre-existed the "Big Bang" and caused it, this must be an "absolute truth" also. (I don't believe "random fluctuations in vacuum energy" cuts the mustard as an explanation: that's just speculative jargon.)
There's a possible connection with science, in that "absolute honesty" is also mentally conceivable. ("To be perfectly honest"). No-one from any culture or religion has any trouble understanding what being "perfectly honest" means, it's universally understood even among children. I think you'd agree, there's got to be something universal and elemental in how this one ethic is congruent with the science of absolutes, and totally necessary for science to even exist. It seems to me that reincarnation is necessary to balance the charges of our ethical ingoings' and outgoings', like charging an electrical battery by completing a circuit.
Socially, there's one HUGE NEGATIVE about reincarnation. It implies anyone going through a hard time deserves it. This mechanistic misunderstanding leads to indifference to the plight of others, arrogance, social stratification, and undermines the importance of our personal empathy. This is where freewill triumphs over determinism. Speak the Truth in love, for whosoever speaks without love lays an unbearable burden on those who need both truth and love most. We all need to work on this.
Keep up the good work, and don't let the unpopularity of your topic dismay you. The way is narrow, and few find it. Cheers, P.R.

Evolution is not a about physical improvement. It's about adaptation to environmental conditions, just saying.

@@unclejohnny863 Hi Uncle J. I agree environmental conditions can change and evolution alters a species, so it better survives in the new conditions. I'd definitely call a "higher survival potential" an improvement, especially when a creature can intelligently change the environmental conditions rather than just adapting to them. It seems that blind mechanistic evolution has a teleological end-point where it no longer operates because no further adaptation is needed. Cheers, P.R.

GOOD INFORMATION BUT STILL MISSING A LOT OF DETAILS ON HOW WE INCARNATE AND DESINCARNATE, AS WELL AS DETAILS ABOUT SPIRITS HERE HAS ZERO DETAILS ABOUT THEIR FORM, KINDS OF SPIRITS (LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT) AND I SEE NO UNDERSTANDING OF SUPERIOR SPIRITS AND GOD.

I believe that when a human soul works very hard to improve itself and detach itself from all that is earthly to the point where the soul can not improve itself any further, because of it's own limited human power. That is when God takes over and brings the soul into what St John of the Cross calls, "the dark night of the soul". The soul suffers greatly because it feels like God is irritated with them or may have abandoned them. The soul feels alone and in a spiritual darkness. But in reality, the soul was drawn closer to God by His divine love and God is gently purging the soul of all that is not of God. When the soul finally makes it through this dark night, which can take many weeks, months or sometimes even years, it emerges as another Christ walking amongst us. It is what Christ talks about when he said that a soul must be born again, of spirit and water, or it will never enter the kingdom of heaven. The soul must go through this transformation, this dark night, before it can stop reincarnating back in the flesh. And the only way for a soul to do this, is by Christ. Without Christ, the soul is condemned to return again and again.

There is NO reincarnation , THE BODY DIES , your SOUL leaves your body , YOU are judged by GOD , at the end of time , your SOUL joins a glorified BODY , those who are found worthy go to heaven , those who are not worthy go the opposite direction , read ST THOMAS AQUINAS ✝️
