Thanks for the great videos you make of your car and the various electrical projects on power tools and things. It's an awesome channel that I've only just discovered and I've already watched your 20 minute video of you performing some service to your car. Like changing the sparkplugs, and cleaning the cam sensor and PCV valve, and the clever way of cleaning injectors. I think I might use that video in the future as a reference on my car. There's some good content here and I was brought to your channel because I have a 2007 Hyundai i30 with the same engine as your Sportage. It's done over 368,000 km and runs very well indeed. Last time I checked it was around 368,350 km. So you should have many years left on yours too. Congratulations on hitting 200,000 km and Keep up the good work !! 👍
Amigo, bom dia. Obrigado.
OMG, amazing... I started watch your videos when youtube sent me that one "mode _ knocking noise under dash (video 44)"... I had just recently bought a sportage 2009 and I loved this channel. Long time passed, this still my favourite channel with sportage videos. Thank you very much for all teachings, a big hug from Brazil. 😄
Greetings from one of the Arab countries.. I hope to continue the videos related to the sporting car because they are important to us and we benefit greatly from these videos
hello again mr dahen zana .. i need a guide how to open air blower control panel .. i seem to have difficulty to open the board...hope some insight from you
Thank you very much for your videos. it very helpful. I'm from Greenland, and our kia is a 2006 2.7l V6 4WD, and has 230.000km on it, still strong. I hope you post more of your car.
hello sir, i have a question.. do you have any idea how to fix the LCD not displaying anything? when i tap it, it glitches but the display doesnt stay up.
Greetings from Canada Dahen, maybe Google will translate this for you but I have the same vehicle here and color with the G4 GC engine. I'm only at 94,000 km hopefully many more to come! This car is very fun to drive and I just did the timing belt! 😆
It is a great channel. I have a 2007 Hyundai i30 with the same G4GC engine at just over 368,000km. They're a very durable long lasting motor. And I've seen a couple of Elantra's from the same period with this same engine with over 400,000 km for sale over here on Facebook marketplace. So you should be able to expect a much longer service life from your engine to come! 🙂
@@jasonsanders3397 thanks Jason, yeah I've got one in my Sportage and I'm just on the timing belt, it's no speed demon but it sure is fun to drive 😎 same colour as Dahens too. And the best thing is, it's paid for and they are very reliable.
@@gdessario5014 I agree that they're fun to drive. And yeah no fireballs in performance. But gets along really nicely and keeps up more than adequately in traffic. But decent handling and steering too. Fun to drive for sure! 👍
@@jasonsanders3397 yes, with the VVT system for the valves and four valves per cylinder, the thing breathes pretty good and provides decent performance. They are built solid enough that a lot of people soup them up.
@@gdessario5014 yeah I have noticed that the engine pulls actually really well. It's with a 5 speed manual transmission in mine and I reckon at times it feels like it has more useful torque and pulling power than some of the 3 litre sixes I've had with a five speed. It's never doughy or laggy like the RB30E Nissan straight six could be down low, and the G4GC feels like it can hold top gear better than the 6G75 Mitsubishi V6 with a 5 speed I had. And like you I reckon it's gotta be because of the vvt. Just a good straight ahead engine that goes hard enough even when you drive it normally, and doesn't really need to be flogged, yet it pretty much just keeps going. While giving 7.2 litres/100 km fuel consumption which is nearly 40 UK mpg.
