Irony is that Number of Tejas manufactured is less than number of years used to manufacture it....
Next steps for IAF:
1. Induct at least 90 more Rafale to fill in the void of multi role aircrafts.
2.Start the work on 110KN engine which can resolve supercruise issue of AMCA.
3. Focus on sensor fusion in Tejas MK2, AMCA MK1
4. As of now need not worry about super manvueverability as we can overcome these by having advanced BVR and WVR missiles integrated on our platforms
👍
1 & 2 is not going to happen
3rd one has already been in cards.
These steps are not meant for IAF but the government of India. IAF has already made their requirements clear to the government.

Sir this is to Inform you that
1 For AMCA MK 1 the engine requirement for AMCA should be 120 KN for super cruise and the can engine be maintained with stealth capability material paint.
2 The India should sought out the engine with RR and starts working on it.
3 The canopy should be covered with protective Ultravoilet protected glass cockpit for AMCA.
4 The CCS should clear 15000 crore amount in next month.
5 Now India should Acquire Rafael 4.1 generation into its combat fleet, the aircraft should be bought around 130
Wth is 4.1 gen?
@@thenovicegamer007 it's Rafael 4.1 upgrade version
So you are going to purchase everything ?
Super cruise is a good feature but going supersonic frequently add expensive stealth coating paint job to the aircraft.... That's why F 35 fly subsonic ....,this is one of the reasons.
Hamko Super cruise bhi chaiye , hamko stealth bhi chaise ex IAF pilot😂
Fast forward to 2035, India will buy Tempest in large numbers, induct 10-15 AMCA aur tabh bhi MRFA chalta rahega aur squadron strength kam hoti rahegi.
Instead of buying Tempest, why not just join the development?
@@boejiden7093especially since UK has invited india multiple times.. they should join it

WE SHOULD COLLABORATE WITH JAPAN FOR THE NEW GEN JET ENGINE THEY ARE MAKING , THE IHI XF9 .
Sir, Japan is too collaborating with Britain, Spain and Italy for Tempest program. To make their 5th generation aircraft into 6th generation. Nippon are wanting an edge over PLAAF. Their main reason of collaboration is of new generation heavy thrust producing engines which will be capable of firing high intensity laser to vaporize the targets.
Baby steps gentlemen baby steps
One of Thakur sir point was AMCA will not have sensor fusion. This is wrong even Tejas mark 2 will have complete sensor fusion. Except Super-cruise, super-manuverability. Time line is an issue but it’s a 5th gen platform. Even if AMCA takes first flight in 2029 we will be happy because we would have flown a 5th gen plane from requirements to design to first flight in just 10 years.
Good Analysis 🎉
First " Make" then "Brag"
This means we do need 114 Rafale F4s as airsuperiority fighters. Even AMCA Block 1 won't make the cut. AMCA will be more like F-35 for SEAD missions.
great video
Although it's true that apart from F-22, the other 2 air superiority Stealth aircrafts J-20 and Su-57 lack some characteristics,. the thing is they're already here and J-20 is operational in very big numbers. So, the time in which our AMCA MK1 will fly, at least J-20 will achive the Supercruise capabilities and TVC Control even before that, if you see the pace of Chinese aviation industry. They have the luxury to do so because they understand the requirements of 5th gen fighters and started the program way early. We're already way behind for starting the program and simply can't afford to have a true 5th gen aircraft in two phase of development which would take huge time based on HALs record. I think Indian government should strongly suggest HAL to look for a foreign partner and try to come up with a proper plan to have it in a single iteration with may be a bit more time than the MK1A introduction.
BTW, SU-57 can Supercruise at low supersonic speed using its current AL41F1 engines. Although the thrust is similar to 117S engine in Su-35, the huge lift and low drag design of Su-57 with no external payload, allows it to Supercruise.
If I am not wrong

I came from future 2030, and I want to tell you
1. MRFA price negotiation is on going
2. Tejas mk 2 first flight delayed to 2032
3. AMCA is still in design phase expected final CDR in next few months, government may approve funds soon
4.IAF has issued RFI for Medium weight multi role Transport aircraft with AESA radar dome, inflight refilling capability, aircraft must perform as ISTAR and must take load of 25 tones( light tank induction to be start in late 2030)
5. Navy received its first TEDBF last week and they planned to deploy 3 sqd near china border
At least Navy is working on its plan properly
Point 2 is wrong since tejas mk 2 has recieved funding so first flight isn't a problem. Orders and testing is another issue.
Point 5 is damn true , navy isn't fking around.

I love the logic!
We can not get original TEJAS to work, so lets jump ahead and make the 4,5 generation fighter of TEJAS!
Why AMCA not using F110 engine with higher thrust..as far as turkey using it
I think super manoeuvrability is a needless expense, good decision to keep it out. For supercruise too, the applications are too far in between since most of a2a combat happens at subsonic speeds. Supercruise takes less fuel than afterburners but still a lot more fuel than subsonic flight. Focus on sensor fusion, stealth and kinematic performance thats enough.
indian people say that amca projects runs slow compare to turkish tfx.because it will have 6th gen features.now it lacks 5th gen features.wah kay natak hai
SU-35 being a heavyweight aircraft can super cruise and is super manuverable. The reason being that it has a powerful engine. We also need stronger engines.
There is an urgent need for induction of 5th generation fighters by iaf by outright purchase either in the form of f-35 or su-57 or maybe in near future su-75. So that let indigenous amca project , can proceed at its own speed of induction in whenever or whatever form be it be 4.5, 5.00, 5.5 or 5.75 generation form .
What's the urgent need , both of your enemies doesn't posses a 5th generation fighter J-20 can be easily out performed by Rafale's so we should induct more Rafale's in V4 configuration because they are reliable and battle tested platform with less maintenance cost .

Amazing facts
Hal and ADA scientist said in an Interview long back that AMCA mk1 Will be able to supercruise with Minimal payload. With maximum payload it cant. So just like Gripen E AMCA Mk1 can Supercruise but only with limited Payload.
I always believed that there should always be a double pronged approach regarding Foreign inductions and indigenous developments.
There should always be a gradual process of reducing dependence on Foreign products.
Roj in log ka plan chage hota hai meko tho koi news me bharosha nai hai jab ban jayega tab dekhenge
Does super cruise depend upon altitude????
Again my prediction is coming out to be true. I earlier said that India is trying to build 5th gen but AMCA will only be a 4th gen fighter jet. America poured 10s of billions only after then it was able to develop 5th gen fighters. It took China decades to develop proper stealth and jet engines after stealing blueprints from here and there. It will take India atleast 60 years to develop its own indigenous 5th gen jet due to politics and kunjoosi panti in pouring money in r&d.
@@aritramal5036 tu bata de itna bhi kaun sa bada difference hai 4 aur 4.5 k beech. Aur kuch aisa difference batana jo ki 4th gen fighter ko upgrade kar k nahi mil sakta.
AMCA has to be inducted into the Indian Air Force by 2030 in realistic terms . . . the project has to be expedited inspite of the challenges being faced by HAL & GTRE . . . not to mention the Tejas Mk2B light multi role interdictor strike fighter which has been delayed . . . the SUKHOI Su-57A (Block II) stealth multi role all weather strike fighter incorporates super-maneuverable characteristics of such measure, that makes it even better than the F-22E Raptor (Block 50+) stealth multi role fighter in more ways than one . . .
This will the major set back for nation , we already are behind in 5 gen and this news India have to wait till mk2 for 5gen describing the condition that IAF will have 5gen after 2035-40. So do we have to consider F-35 , Su-75 now.

If it can be solved, it is an issue. If it cannot be solved, we call it an inherent feature.
@@GDSHSG666 Offcourse it can be solved with strict governnence. Even great countries like Singapore went through hell until they found a great leader like Lee Kuan Yew.
@@GoldenArrow297 Although Singapore is in Southeast Asia, it is predominantly a Chinese-majority nation. It can essentially be understood as an exclave of East Asia located in the south. It possesses the typical characteristics of an East Asian country, with a society that is highly efficient and well-organized. On the other hand, India's social structure relies heavily on a minority of elites, so comparing the two doesn't make much sense.

New AL-41 engine can solve this problem !
Su-35 can super cruise above Mach 1 and is highly maneuverable. Those engines are a bit efficient too compared to Al-31. We should use this engine in our AMCA till we develop our own thigh thrust engines.
Your point is valid but there is a huge problem at least in AMCA design. Let me explain here. If you see all the current operational or semi-operational 5th Gen main air superiority fighters, they are all pretty big. F-22 is bigger than F-15 or Su-30 series, Su-57 is even bigger than that and J-20 is the biggest, almost equal to a Deep strike Fighter-Bomber F-111. The reason behind that is they need to carry reasonable amount of weapons and fuel internally to maintain their stealth charecteristic and the designers have utilize that big size to optimize the design for higher body lift and bigger engines. J-20 was developed around a big AL-31 series engine to make sure when the higher thrust version of their engines are available, they can fit it which they are now doing. AMCA, unlike any of these proven 5th Gen design philosophy, being deveoped as a medium weight fighter like current 4.5th gen Rafale or Eurofighter and that design choice is limiting to actually use bigger engine to it. I personally think that it is a wrong decision because not only it won't allow to accommodate powerful engines but it also will restrict its weapon carrying and internal fuel carrying capacity to perform deep strike and SEAD missions inside enemy territory, a main usage of 5th Gen aircrafts.
AMCA First Flight will be on 2030😂

su57 is capable of super-cruize and now it is getting new engine with flat nozzle.
F35 is also capable of super-cruize and US is thinking of retiring its F22 because of its high maintenance cost.

Came across this article a while back and was waiting for your video. At the end of the day we will have to accept the fact that we got independence not so long ago and there are limitations to how much we can evolve within this short span on our own.
However one thing that was not mentioned in the video is, how HAL and DRDO initially give nod to every demand and then only they realise the feasibility of the project. Maybe the lack of competition is fueling this behaviour.
Also the projected AMCA capabilities may not be lacking to those of F35 or J20 etc. in present, but we have to accept the fact that their fleet capabilities will grow too by that time. How will India match up to them at that time? Alongside AMCA there should be another new project with a long term vision.
In 20 years it would be a 100 years of independence. In the 40s in terms of industrialisation we were ahead of almost all asian nations save for Japan. The Koreans were in comparison living in mudhuts, had to indure the brutal Japanese who would have made even taimurlane blush. We on the other hand had railway, we had the biggest cities in Asia, we were in the perfect diplomatic position being opposite to communist china meaning both USSR and USA were our potential allies. And you know what we did? We de-industrialised East India and became socialists. We are to blame, not the British in the least. Bengal famine was bad but not bad enough to stall the growth of a nation for half a century. In reality we have only been independent for 30 years, and I'll agree we have made good progress. But whe should have made that in the 70s

First flight 2050. I’m sorry but I got 0 fking hope with Hal.
AMCA Mk1 , can have both super cruise and super maneuver ability if HAL aims for faster service inductions.
If M88 engine in twin configuration can provide Super Cruise ability to the shape and weight category of Rafale , why won't the GEF414 with similar specifications be able to do the same on the better designed AMCA Mk1 ? AMCA mk1 is definitely more aerodynamic than F/A18 Super Hornet which uses GEF414 in twin configuration but cannot Supercruise .
Thrust vectoring nozzles had been in development at DRDO ever since 2015 , according to some reports, specifically for the AMCA , if the Mk1 misses it then , its no one's fault but HAL's. With the indigenous TVCs however , supermaneuverability will not be a problem for the AMCA Mk1.
Eurasian times , the publication, publishes article with Russian and Chinese bias - hence undermining and criticising Indian indigenous development is expected - be it valid or be it exaggerated. Its opinion has not affected the Indian procurement so far.
F35 and J20 both are underperforming 5th Gen fighter jets and can be equated with a Rafale F3R one to one. But F35 emerges ahead if put in USAF's network linked warfare. Both Rafale and J20 lack that support. IAF do not have enough Rafales to be as effective as USAF F35s.
What concern me most is the AMCA engine , a 110kn dry thrust engine in twin set up as per IAF demand would have put it in F22's territory ......but GEF414 with its 98kn dry thrust may not power up all the devices alongwith performance on the AMCA.What's worse is that, I hear the indigenous engine which was to be atleast 105Kn dry and 130kn category onnafterburner has been respecced lower for the first version to just around 100kn with afterburner .I suspect non cooperation from international partners in the engine project to co develop a better engine on which India will have authority.
My opinion of a way around this, ditch foreign co developers , buy the GE F414 TOT which GE is willing to offer if it gets US senate nod and then retune the mechanism for a new engine with 110kn dry thrust , fully indigenous.
GE F414, which is sold to India, has a dry thrust of 98Kn and 116kn with afterburner - I am sure GTRE has enough experience by now to upgrade that stable core to 110kn dry and 140kn with afterburner . All it needs , is the full TOT on the GE F414.
The Indian government should start lobbying the US senate for getting GE its approval and ditch efforts to woo Safran and Rolls Royce anymore.
