People going on about caste system in India are the same one’s who’ll cry when reservation for categories are abolished completely. And until the whole concept of reservation and category exists, mark my words, people will have casteimsmm in their mind. Either they’ll both stay or none will.

Or Testing testing 4-5 saal testing karne mai chale jate hai.. testing time ko reduce karne ki jarurat hai india ki indigenous technology purani ho jati hai tab tak inki testing complete hoti hai

I have to disagree on one major thing... Compared to how much other countries spend on comparable project, we only give a fraction of that to DRDO. For example, Western Countries on average 20 billion dollars on one jet Engine development. China has so far spent some 40 billion for their 2 partially functional engines. India has spend 500 million on Kaveri and then we wonder why we don't have engine that matches the performance of American engines.
Modiji should look into that import lobby too

Private companies neither have expertise nor have interested in budget allocation in R&D , that's why SPV model for both AMCA and IMRH has failed ... Private industries need atleast 20 yrs to develop in critical technologies if they heavily invest in R&D
Private companies themselves aren't interested in R&D. Only thing they wanna do is rebrand some foreign product as "Made in India" and earn profit

I think this channel needs to take a leaf out of the content published in that channel about this matter and temper it's opinion.

Good to admit our failures. I think DRDO has done fine in terms of putting components together and achieving basic functionality, but then we find for combat needs, we need more performance, and it is in pushing performance that we are falling short. It's too much to expect a single entity like DRDO to improve performance at the component level and build the overall system like a drone etc. Actually, I think India's weakness is having a weak indigenous component catalog - which should have been farmed out to the private sector, or you have to buy from outside at much higher cost. The component builder should be the ecosystem, while the systems builder can be a large corporation like Adani, etc.

Mahindra needs to step up to design and manufacturer big engines for tanks, Combat vehicles or even fighter jets. I have no hopes from tata as it itself import its engines from foreign.
