The Cordsmith is a handy tool used to make a knitted I-cord! Created by Autumn Goodman who is also curates the "Size Inclusive Collective"
You can check out more information at her website and get your own Cordsmith here - byautumn.com/c...
Thank you for the love!!!
It’s a great tool! Need to get the mini now. lol
Thank you for these very clear directions.
@@DonnaSchaer happy to help!!
Thank you for this very helpful video. How would you start to add the yarn to a 4 needle I cord tool?
I don't particularly have experience with a four needle version but if you did a "backwards loop" on each needle, that is another way to go. It's definitely fiddly at the beginning though and takes some practice. You could also cast on a set of DPN needles start the icord and then transfer to the the tool!
There’s a mini cordsmith available now. I just got it today and hope it will be easy to use.
I saw that!! I hope it works well for you. I may have to get one!
@@TheCATTLadyDesignsI’m feeling really clumsy with it so I’m constantly starting over 😂😂 hopefully I will get the hang of it!
@@nancywyatt1857 yeah I think that’s totally normal. It still takes me a couple tries to get it going. lol!
Thanks so much for the tip about making a backward slip knot
Yeah it can be awkward to start - this was a really good way to do it!
