i think these limited meta great league cups are my favorite part of go battle league. they're always so fun, and it's awesome to get to play great league without azu/gfisk on every team.

Loving the holiday cup. I’m running an okay team. It’s a great dust builder. Haven’t invested yet in a diggersby as I have a rank 3. I’ve had decent matchups against froslass but still unable to get passed ace. My rating is too low to even have a shot at passing ace let alone reach legend. Your videos have helped but I’m still unable to master safe swaps and time swaps

I didn’t play any in 2018/2019 so I don’t have the original stunfisk or the XL candy for diggersby but I finished my sets prior to watching this video with almost the same team using lanturn instead and gained about 200 points as well😎👍 froslass vs skarmory info was definitely helpful

I'm gonna try this team. Yesterday I was running Talonflame on the lead and I landed a couple of Brave Birds on some Alolan Marowaks. IT WAS AMAZING TO SEE. 😆

I've been running frosslass, vigoroth and talonflame. Been playing around swapping frosslass with piloswine and no matter what it's a fun time, love the holiday cup!
I came across someone using your team this morning! Exact same order. I am running a similar team myself, except I use my 100 iv sableye instead of vigaroth. Was able to beat him with two mons remaining. Awesome matchup and great content! As much as I am enjoying the holiday cup rn, could you possibly give some tips for classic master league? Would really appreciate a video on that. Thanks and keep it up!

I also overconpensated for altaria lol. I use alolan marowak, lapras, and alolan sandslash. Vigoroths and obstagoons scare me
I ran this team as well last might for holiday cup. Expirimented with different types if safe swaps too like. Kinda liked bidoof for its ability to wall out alowak and tank hits from frosslass.
I was running this same team right before you posted this video lol. I was switching it up, but ended with a decent winning streak with this exact lineup.

I’ve been running Altaria A-Wak and Froslass doing just fine. Main issue is A-Graveler but it’s still playable fairly well.

I've been running DIggersby, Togekiss, and Vigoroth..fun little combination, anything that has a good damage mon and Vigoroth to tank stuff is crazy.

Agreed. Shadow Razor leafers need a rework. Thought I was headed for a 5-0 on my final set. Had my frosslass 2/3 health with a shield, opponent had a full health shadow victreebell in the back with a shield and I barely couldn’t get to the second avalanche...

Actually I m trying to save resource during holiday cup to improve my ultra premier cup roaster.
I was looking for a frosslass team, and this has given me some inspiration. But only after a few days, because 'everyone' will be copying you now!
Right now I'm on a roll with a rather cheesy Shadow-Aerodactly; double charmer team.
Some times you win leads. Sometimes you win swap ins too. Spoken like a true champion!
Ran today's sets with this squad. Started 1/5 in the first 2 sets. After learning what to do when, finished the day with 5/4/5 wins.
Against A-Marowak opens, I would load up to Shadow Ball but use Avalanche. Even if I had to use a shield, I ended up with switch advantage after the Vigoroth safe swap almost every time.
Bro I watched your other two Holliday Cup vids yesterday, spent a couple hours last night on PvPoke tryna craft the best team I could. Ended up spending a ton of dust on Fros/Stun/Vig and used up all my battles last night- it SLAYS. Then today you drop this?? Guess your other two vids did the trick for me! :D

In the matchup vs wigglytuff (w frosslass) u can actually get to two avalanches if u deny the extra charm which either wins u switch along with shield advantage (1 to 2) or u get both of the shield from ur opponent
I was struggling with doing well until I randomly put Bibarel on my team. It shouldn't work but it just does wonderfully. Probably because everyone and their mother are running Alolan Marowak, which it's an amazing counter to.

I was running this but the goon instead of stunfisk- makes it a tad weaker to altaria but I like the extra marowak/froslass deterrent/fighting fast moves

Yep! Removes positive and negative effects! So the icy wind from dewgong gave me negative attack, by swapping out I can clear it and come back in to hit normal damage.

I've been running froslass and HF A-wak as my core, and flipping the third around with whatever seems to be popping up, and doing great. I want to try a Vigoroth, but I need like 10 more candies. So close.
Actually playing Masters Premiere with an XL Gyarados. Thinking of dumping some XL candy into Excadrill to burn steel with fast moves even quicker. Don’t have enough to max either but it still helps.
Experimenting with an "Icehole" team (Altaria, Abomasnow and Froslass).
Lead with Altaria, other two are safe switches depending on the opposing lead. Objective is to crack shields, not so much win the lead (though it's still good to go for that), to pave way for either Ice types to wreak havoc.
To anyone else using a similar set-up, how are you doing?
I have an 2 15 15 froslass,, do you think that it's going to make a big diference in battles??

Thinking about it now my team is pretty similar in terms of typing. Awok, galvantula, and wigglytough with awok in the lead and wiggly as my safeswap.
I’ve been running Mawowak, Vigoroth and Dewgong. They’ve been tearing it up in the Holiday Cup.
I played today with honchkrow lead abomasnow and alolan marowak. The honchkrow performed pretty well tbh
I’ve been playing pokemon go since July 2020 - I’d like to say my 7 year old is the reason, but let’s be honest.... Zyonik has been almost daily viewing to help level up the battling know-how. Typically I win just over 50%. Imagine my shame at 2 wins in 15 battles in the Holiday Cup. But today, watching this video I’m 13 wins from 15. Because I’m new, I don’t have my Slakoth candy, so swapped in Obstagoon. Some matches have been a 2+ pokemon sweep by the super spammy ‘Goon. Thanks Zyonik!!!

I want you to try a pokemon with one weakness, being fairy(that isnt sableye) SPIRITOMB! I tried it in PvP and it actually did pretty well, i ran the moveset of Feint attack, Shadow ball and did well against pokemon like Drifblim, Froslass, Alola Raichu, And stuff like that
