It’s official!!!! AJ can make anybody jump anything.
Instructor: “ Let’s all really make him feel pressured here” 🤣😁😆 Great Class AJ 🤟
Haha thanks 😂
Talk to the camera bru
Thank you for making c class more difficult lol. Love the video 👍🏽
Hahah!
Having watched a ton of MX riding technique videos, I consider yours the best. I'm 56yrs old, just started to get back into the sport after 30yrs. These vids have inspired me and motivated me. Committed viewer .. Thankyou..
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoy them!
Now a Patreon. Once tracks re-open, can't wait to put your techniques into practise ... Keep it up, easy to connect to your way of teaching.
Note: I own Mike Alessi's MXGP RMZ450. (2015) in the man gave. Current weapon of choice, more sedate KX250F. Regards.
I’m with ya at 57 up here in Canada
Amaizing tips A.J. and very helpful. My buddies and I follow you from Croatia 🇭🇷
4:46 - Did he crash?
9:25 - I was like "wow! this student got some style and skills!" watched it again and noticed it was you XD
Haha!
No he didn’t crash
@@AjCatanzaro Glad to hear that
Just got my first dirt bike and watching your content/videos is helping me a lot, instead of going off of nothing and learning the hard way.
Lets all hit up his patreon as well every little bit counts camera equipment ain't cheap appreciate the videos
See they way I learned was I didn’t try to learn lol it just happened over the years as I got more experienced and naturally I started to scrub in result of getting faster
Same for me
That's how I leant as well, just through natural progression.
Great video AJ.
Great lesson AJ
You inspire confidence in all the students
That jump’s not so scary anymore !
😲😁👌
Peoria you said it right 👌
"Is this thing safe?"
...
"You hesitated."
😂
love your videos and watch almost all of them. what’s exactly on ur patron i’m really interested in getting it and for such a good price i’d love to join it
Primarily a place right now for everyone to be able to openly chat with me. Also, members can send in videos of them riding for me to critique.
And the giveaways are cool too 😎
Do it. Where else do you have access to ask a professional racer questions for $2 a month!
can you make some camps in north carolina
Yes I will for 2021!
Great videos AJ
Not sure where, but if there was a course in Indiana for supercross time, id be there
Wish I could go to the canyon Mx class but I just got my first motocross bike, before that I’ve only had trail bikes and I haven’t even been to the track, so I don’t think I’m comfortable going to a class
As always simple, but very usefull🏁
Cool. Just what I needed.
I am still a bit confused in how to scrub, I understand that u need to push the wheel to the ground, i guess. At least that wAt I understood...I guess my question is...WHAT IS THE BODY MOVEMENT TO SUCK UP THE JUMP?
If you don’t comprehend that, you really aren’t ready to be “scrubbing” just yet. The body movement to soak up the jump vertically needs to be fully understood first. It’s like pumping a bicycle through a pump track, standing vertically on the transition of the face, and allowing the bike to come all the way to you when cresting the takeoff
Love the videos brother....... I make my son watch them all...
Thanks!
😤 I wish I was there. I would have jumped it because everybody else was. And the jump face was perfect.
Just about the best I’ve ever seen the face!
How much money is your class and where is the track you teach at?
Love the videos AJ I have a question
I'm just getting into riding mx tracks but I feel like I'm to big any pointers for heavy guys like myself any advice would be highly appreciated
Do you have plans to come back to Parker Mx in New York State anytime next year?
Congratulations Mike Edwards just glad someone I hadn't the privilege to ride with end watch climb the ranks sink 8 years old made such a good UA-cam channel everybody please share on your facebooks on your Instagram on anything just pop up some love for AJ because he tries really hard
So like behind the ears and such? Not sure how or where to scrub
Everywhere
Nice so when they jump most of the guys are experienced enough to brake tap before doing this.
I understood how to work with your knees and heaps while scrubbing but would you please say a couple of words on how to work eith the steering? What is the timing and the actually the goal of it?
Believe it or not, there isn’t a ton going on with the bars when you’re scrubbing. Your arms allow the bike to snap under you, but you shouldn’t be doing anything extreme with the bars
I'm 17 and at a track near my house there is a 150ft table it throws guys about 50 ft in the air and it's a steep take off to steep landing. I wanted to try it but I didn't because I had no idea the speed and it looked pretty high risk do to the fact how vertical the landing was. I'm a relatively new rider but I have my own little personal track in my side yard and have machines to make obstacles and features that will help me get better so I have learned a lot. I think I would do fine if I cased it because I built a good sized jump steep to steep and feel fine when I did come up short but the 150ft is steeper and a little scarier. I was just wondering what tips you might have to hit this big jump. I have been on the bike about a year but I've really pushed the technical aspects of riding it and have gain a lot of speed and confidence. I'm ready to move to the b class if I could hit that jump and other jumps like it. I would be very grateful for any advice on how to do that, also love what you are doing with the channel me and my friend watch it all the time. Thank you for your time and reading this.
If you have a video of the jump, you can email to catanzaroracing@gmail.com and I’ll give you some advice
okay colton & synjin😳😳
Dude you where in AZ and I missed it 😖
Nice 👍🏻 job proper training 💪🏻
i started doing this horizontally on my first time at the track, i learned so fast because of body position and being comfortable because of it
Any classes near east tennessee AJ?
That jump looks so fun. I’d love to hit it
That one kid that hit the 100ft and cased it then just LIMITER
hey as im watching this video watching you do it and then watching them do to. is it better to take a little bit more air time to have bot wheel hit the ground or better to only get a back tier down a little bit early
When demonstrating I did a pass or two where I scrubbed, then landed in a wheelie across the top of the jump, then scrubbed out of the wheelie. Which is a very technical thing to do. I would suggest getting both wheels back on the ground
How much cost for your school?
The funny thing is Deegan hit it on his 85 on the track
Yep, he has power/weight ratio of a 450 on that bike. He should be able to clear anything
Ima Try this on all the tables I’m nowhere close to clearing
3:59 gave me mad bmx vibes
The secret tho that ppl don't know is how to get the bike low, the trick is you have to counter steer to get the bike low, so basically if you want to lean the bike to the right you have to steer the bike to the left.😁😉
wished i would win maybe next time
i’m scared to clear jumps and i’ve been riding since i was 4 and i’m 14 now any tips?
Follow my technique and just start small
@@AjCatanzaro okay thanks
@rossifyson2315 You clearing jumps yet?
@@bunnyman6321 ohhh yes
@@bunnyman6321 on 450 now haha
This is one of the awesome kind of jumps. While jumping it you are facing the cognitive dissonance because on a regular tabletop your brain expects the height decrease by the end of the jump and here contraversary You see the increasing gap under your feet and only after it You land)
I'm thinking of joining you'r patrion thing but what will i be singing up for.
It’s a place where I’m able to respond to every single person’s questions. I do further breakdowns of my videos, and some cool giveaways every month 😎
@@AjCatanzaro Awesome I think I'm going to join once I get my new dirtbike which is from 2-3 weeks I mostly do trail riding but I want to join motocross.
poor guy got pressure on him xD
I learned scrubbing by watching your video on scrubbing but for the most part it just naturally came as I got faster...... just flick the bike over on the lip and there is your scrub
Yep, it’s nice to understand how to do it, but a true scrub will only start to happen as you get faster and more aggressive
@@AjCatanzaro that’s true because now days since the competition just gets stiffer every year you have no choice but to learn how to scrub
Awesome!
The heck with this covid. I would have made it down to states just for a lesson. Hope in 2021.
Lit
I need a new bike but I have a 150f and I can’t Jump anything because it is so slow but my dad won’t get me a new bike I love racing but I can’t
sell the bike and use that money.
What about learning this on a drz400? Maybe +100 lbs over your bike.
Don’t 😂 keep that tank upright
Yeah, I hear you. But at least this teaches to learn without catching any air! Can’t beat that...when I do catch air and swap out I won’t be too far off the ground.
It would be good skill to learn because the goal on that bike is to keep it grounded!
Don’t try to go overly fast on a drz, I learnt the hard way, twice , especially if the springs aren’t matching ur weight
Wish I could have seen this before breaking my footpeg
Do some Camps in germany, please ...:'D
2021 I’ll be there!!
@@AjCatanzaro no way!? Thats awesome!!
I look at the title then i see people jumping like a 1000 feet
Sick
Yoooo
kinda confused why you made that guy get off that bike and onto the yamaha?
That Yamaha was his. I rode his bike to test what gear to do the jump in
@@AjCatanzaro thats what i thought but i seen him get off the other one lol
Dang you Mike Edwards from NY!!!! JK JK Congrats on the Jersey!
😬😬
LOL. No worries I don't take anything personal. You gave me a good laugh.
🤙🏼
By the way where's the wallflip tutorial remember the time you tried to teach me to walk with and I damn near broke my neck LMAO
Yasss
4th for the table on a 125 🤷♂️
Yep most likely
The learning how to hit the 100 footer lesson is simple AJ. Just point them to the @dangerboydeegan videos where he gives a perfect tutorial (the metal mulisha way) for those on a small bike.
Schedule something for you PNW fanssss, Washington never gets fun events😂
Would love to do class there!
