@@sammutphil Not sure which app your using, but might be worth it to try a few different free apps in case its the app that's having the problem. If your using car scanner app, you need to go into the settings and pick your make/model of vehicle.
Can I use this to simply register my BMW battery? Works with ProTool? (Changing battery requires communicating to car’s control module the battery specs, amperage, etc.) Thanks much!
I am not sure if it will work with ProTool. I did notice in the comments of the ProTool app they mentioned carly using a generic elm327 adaptor that didnt support the BMW specific fast protocols they used in the app. I assumed the vp11 was some type of generic elm327 but was not able to identify it when I tried the "elm327 identifier" app. I dont have a BMW to really check it. Maybe someone else can comment if they have tried it.

have you been able to check your wheel speed? I am using car scanner pro and get nothing when I check. Everything else seems to work fine.
Can you see fuel pressure?
on the v11 model, which LED lights should be on when plugged into the car? mine is only red.
Mine is red also until I connect to it through the app. Then the green and yellow will flash once connected.
