Man that is beyond sweet, definitely showroom quality right there...looks like it just rolled off the assembly line!!
Pride in ownership!
This was my favorite generation of the Town Car. It got more advanced & modern, & yet somehow became even more beautiful, classy & elegant than ever before.
My thoughts exactly
Best Town Car years 95 / 96 / 97. Even when I was just a lil kid I remember sitting in the showroom at Darcars Lincoln-Mercury (Marlow Heights, MD) and had to be pulled out of the car lol, a 95 or 96 Town Car. Next to it was a Continental and a Mark VIII before the 97 update. My dad thought about a Grand Marquis or Town car but didn't want a note smh. I've had so many cars including a 04 Marauder and I still want a 95-97 Signature or Cartier!!!
I've owned 3 of those and I just love the ride. Hate the grocery store parking lot but love the ride.
What a masterpiece !
Highly superior of any today's luxury automobile !
Beautiful clean lincoln. I own a 1995 lincoln towncar signature series. I have 212.000 miles on it. These 4.6 V8 are amazing strong engines. I own a salt and pepper Lincoln, rare color. I call it my Big Comfy Couch going down the highway. I absolutely love it. This car will sell very fast.
The 4.6 has nice performance but they have a tendency to blow out spark plugs. My 2008 Mercury did that and the mechanic botched the repair leaving me to have the cylinder head replaced to the tune of $2300.
I have a 93 Town Car I'm getting rid of. Everything possible goes wrong with it. I think it's cursed. This one though I do like. A beauty.
How many mpgs you usually get?
Greetings from the UK Anthony. It really is one of the joys in life to wake up to a "Anthony Gozzo uploaded:" notification, what an awesome way to start the week, especially on the big screen.
There's clean, there's "time warp" and then there's "Are you sure they stopped making these? Looks like it rolled out of the factory this morning."
One of your best, keep up the good work sir.
THANK YOU so much for the support and love!! I will keep doing what I do to bring you the nicest cars I can find!
My Mom has the 96 Cartier with 109k. Keeps up all the maintenance on it. Garage kept.
Great cars!!!
I had a 96 cartier had to sell it cause it was in bad shape but i bought it for $1400 so i didnt really take a loss now i have a 96 signature series in near brand new condition
That's a brand new car right there
The last of the chrome column shifter in any vehicle.
And those seat belts are still the ones they had in the 70s
@@user-wc5lp5pr9k
Actually 2002 Continental I realized was the last with it if that had the front split bench seating. Good eye on seat belts, never noticed that too.
Very nice Lincoln, four years ago I bought a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature which I'll have paid off next month. I've always wanted ether a Lincoln or Cadillac since I was in high school in the 80's. More I see these older car the better they look & less computer stuff in cars as now days. A real American beauty here.
Talk about time warp condition!! ❤️
Car is in amazing condition! When in High School I dreamt of having one of these Town Cars. And now here I am still dreaming of owning one. The 95-97 were the best!
~Blake
Four years has gone by ... are you still "dreaming"??"
@@warriormanmaxx8991No - not at all! I own a beautiful 96’ Signature now.
This beautiful Lincoln brings back memories for me when I bought a new one in 1997 it was a great car never had any problems I took great care of it I’m so sorry I sold it in 2011
WOW! How beautiful
This is incredible. I have a white 98 Signature. It's in great shape but nothing like this one! 😍
Isaac Taylor Hoe many miles do you have on it? Have you had any issues with the air ride suspension and/or transmission?
@@brianmcreynolds2431 Just over 141K. I bought it in November 2017 with 129K and the air ride had already been converted to coil springs. Shifts smoothly. Maybe I should make a video of it sometime.
Isaac Taylor yea u should post a vid! How does the coil springs handle? I’ve always wanted this bodystyle as my Uncles and Grandma drove them. I’m still torn over the ‘98-‘02 bodystyle and the ‘03-‘11 compared to this one
@@brianmcreynolds2431 Well, I drive like a grandpa as it is, so as far as I'm concerned, it handles fine! 😁 I do like the last generation's body style, especially the hood ornament. Whatever the appearance, those things are tanks. Every time I look at mine and get behind the wheel, I'm thankful I found it.
Isaac Taylor yes they are virtually indestructible! I have a ‘07 Grand Marquis but I still want a TC. How much did yours cost?
Cleanest vehicle I have ever seen on your channel!
This was a mint one
Anthony I dont know how you do it. But apart from Bill at Autohaus Naples, you have the absolute well kept cars for sale online. Keep up the excellent work and your reviews.
Thank you so much! I love what I do and the cars I do it with. When you have that passion it comes naturally.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful car!!
Best cars ever Lincoln town car 95 to 97 awesome cars i had 2 a 96 and 97 and i have a light blue on blue with 95,000 miles i love these cars and thanks for your videos
I drove this style car during my HS years. It was a hand me down from my parents. I remember packing in all my friends and heading to the movies.
I want one of these, they look so stylish and classy!
U always have the nicest cars to show us!
THEE SMOOTHEST RIDING CAR I'VE EVER BEEN IN TO DO DATE !! Yes, I've ridden in an S-class(which is a close second in terms of ride quality), LS430, Jaguar XF, Cadillac DTS other land yachts !!! All you feel is the body moving !!!
A Scott no car can touch the ride and quiet! My daughter bought a 09’ MXK and the first time I rode in it, I said “ this is Not a Lincoln “!!! The air ride is the best ride ever! Plus the noise in hers was awful! We have had town cars for the past 25 yrs. My husband dearly loved them!
Nice, I have a 99 Lincoln Town Car, Cartier edition with 165,000 miles on it.
My mom had a '97 Signature Series in Champagne. Had it for over 250k miles until electrical gremlins popped up. The powertrain had so much more life in it. I miss that car so much. I wish I saw this video a year earlier I would have totally bought this pristine example!
Beautiful car! I owned a 90’ town car. Enjoy all your videos! 👍🏻
THANK YOU for the support!
A friend of mine who was a used car dealer back in the 90s would only stock the 1990 model year Town Car...had the "old" engine without the plastic intake manifold. He had me pick one up from a dealer in Boston, drive it back to Westchester, NY where his lot was located. Super highway car. Knew the person who brought it from this dealer; the only issue he had was having to replace the adjustable height ride air springs with conventional springs and struts.
I know Sedans are pretty much dead ....but for Car Services.....Lincoln should bring back the Town Car
LOVE that JFK blue on that Town Car. I owned a 1995 Fleetwood years ago, thought it was "better" than a similar era Town Car. From my right foot, that assessment was damn accurate, that Fleetwood was pretty damn fast, 50 more hp than a similar year Town Car, lots more off the line torque as well. As for all other aspects of the car, the Fleetwood was a lot more chrome and flash vs the more understated styling of the Town Car. As the years have passed, I actually like the more square look of the 90's Town Car. The dashboard is also a lot nicer, it isn't that stupid minivan deep like the Fleetwood, the gauges provide stuff like temperature and fuel economy data, stuff lacking on the 1995 Fleetwood(but which Cadillac had included on 1982 cars)
You bring up good points!! The LT-1 Powered Fleetwood is a rocket ship, but the oddly huge dash is a turn off for me. I like the interior of these with the curved dashpad.
I would proudly drive that!
I used to have the exact 97 for 3 years and they really are good reliable cars for that year I miss it a lot but it was a Cartier Edition
i had a 1997 black with black leather n moonroof and i sold a year ago this video makes me miss my car and want this but im not in the right position to buy it,, but if u dont know these cars ride and drive very tight , handle tight and have great passing power and youll love it on a long road trip ,
Nothing better on a long road trip!
What i think is weird is that a funeral home would trade the car into a new car dealership. Maybe it's been my life's experiences but most Funeral homes sell their cars outright since they know they can get such a high premium for such a cream puff car. Nice to see this one has lived a soft life and hopefully the new owner will cherish it dearly.
Best-looking TC body, in my opinion.
I like the 1967 coach door Lincoln
After the 1989 of course. :-)
@@eriks9417Perhaps, but the 1980 Continental was the ultimate. A pinnacle of inefficiency, it had unparalleled presence.:)
@@paulparoma Mark VI, coupe or sedan, true beauties. When i was 10-14, i,d ride my bike thru the country club parking lot admiring the continental and fleetwood broughams sedans, especially the coupe.
@@eriks9417 I remember those days/cars very well, too. And look at American cars today. What a disgrace...
Gorgeous 😍. Thanks for the video
Beautiful car , and original radio ❤❤❤
Just a awesome car Anthony. This has to be the nicest Town Car you have had but hard to tell cause they are all nice cars. Love the color of this car! Love the body style too! Just breathtaking!
Simply beautyfull !!👍
Had a 1993, great car. I wish I could buy this one!
So nice. thanks for the videos.....Dave from Australia
We owned a 94 and a 98 and I still have my 2004!! But I loved my 94!!
Just beautiful
Beautifully preserved!!!!
You're a nice guy who I can tell is appreciative of all the fine details of these modern classics. I subscribed.
I am not big on the seat colour but think that dark blue paint suits this car, so it's worth it!
The second generation is my favourite followed very very closely by the first. The third I like only for having the most up to date features the others don't.
This car looks 💯 in this color 👍 from the 🇬🇧
Thank you for the LOVE
Got a 2002 with 65k miles on it. Sat for 2 years so it needs a tune up and a wash but other than that it's a beautiful car
Beautiful car
I am 57 years old and in the 80s I owned a 1974 Mark IV and then 2 1978 town cars and a 1978 Lincoln Mark V and then had 1982 Mark VI and 4 Mark VII LSC which were my favorite ones and I had a 1996 Town car Cartier edition
I never had a car for long road trips that beat a Town Car. Beautiful!
I have a white `97 that I got free in 2010. I was helping out a friend by taking care of her 90 year old parents. There were two `97 Town Cars in the yard- one with 65,000 miles and one with 73,000 miles. They gave me the one with 65,000 miles. It ran and drove like new, once I charged up the battery. The only problem was with the auto climate control, which blew hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Today that car has 155,000 on it. It has a couple of problems, but it's still a good car. Also it has a full-size spare. I wonder why that one doesn't.
Total beauty, I own two of them one 96 signature with 413k, the other one 97 Cartier with 134k as clean as this one, bought it from an older gentleman I love these cars.
The veriable steering assist is one of the features I liked on my town car that and my trunk mounted 10 disk CD changer I once owned a 1996 Lincoln Town car Cartier addition had every factory option except the sunroof
i had a 96, bought it for $500 with a cracked intake, it had 200,000 miles, when i was done with it, it had 350,000 miles and still running good
My favorite car ever. Black on black with the executive series rims.
Its a very beautiful car
Thanks my dear
What a beauty! I wish for that one!
Gozzo shoots...he scores! Nice Lincoln, Tony!
Thank you Thank you!!!
What a gem
Beautiful man. Love this one
I miss the days of the hood ornament which is one thing I like about my 2006.
My favorite Town Car generation.
Anthony, I have a 1997 Beige Signature but will eventually buy another 1995-97 Signature from you!
Sweet panther 79/97 I’m from Nova Scotia and I’ll tell you about the climate hear it’s terrible for cars cold winters and salt roads and salt breeze off the ocean and baking hot summers it kills cars up in Canada so it’s so nice to see a mint condition panther with low Kms
I have the same car minus the crome around the wheel wells. Love that car and all original. I don't plan on taking the airbags out. That's what makes the ride amazing. If you ever drove one you will understand
Beautiful car!
I own a 95 Executive. These make excellent daily drivers. Very reliable.
Wow. That’s so beautiful
I really do love this model of the towncar. To me it's the next thing to those beautiful caddy broham d'elegance..This is a car I'd be proud to own.
Very nice shape, practically brand new!
We have a '97 Cartier with 213,000 miles on it! Well maintained and garage kept! Would rather spend more than market value on keeping her up to snuff than spend even more on any of today's offerings! None of them float our boat, and none of them qualify as a "big" car. This Town Car is the epitome of comfort and manages to average around 23 MPG on the highway, regular gas, where 90% of its miles were accumulated. Have had few issues with her the past 22 years! The '98 through '2011 models are nice, but just don't have the definitive look of the '91 through '97 models. In fact, we had a wonderful '95, but when we learned the '97 was to be the last model year of that body style we bought this one! Kept the '95 for a number of years, finally sold to a friend for his mother. She drove it until she passed away. Kind of wish we had kept that one too!
Love the car. I am a big fan of the full-size body on frame land yachts they stopped making. I know who to contact when it's time for me to upgrade my '96 Grand Marquis
I am your guy!!!
What a beautiful Car
Beautiful!
Very nice 😀
Wow 😲 looks amazing 😉😻😻
I bought one of these about a month ago, it's not as neat as this one but it was a great deal. One owner, 63K original miles for $3,900. It has a few little things that I have to get fixed, such as the 2 rear windows do not go down and the driver seat does not move back and forth but other than that it runs smooth as butter on a hot skillet
Such a beautiful car.
I love that car. so beautiful
That interior reminds me of my olds delta 88 royale brougham!!
I still drive a 95 signature series.....I want this car!!!!
Wow I'd love to have that.
super luxury 😍🇺🇸
😍🔥👌
My first car I bought when my first job was a 1993 Lincoln towncar signature series salvage title lol this was in '05 I've always like these cars and I'm looking for a 1997 now im in California if you have another one likes this.
Piece of Art
Town Car king of the panthers. Listen to those doors, they sound like a bank vault closing.
Gorgeous!
thats a beautiful car and if i had the money today I would get that no questions asked
Beautiful
I have a 1996 Cartier, in "Silver Frost," but its condition pales in comparison to this one!!.. And it doesn't look bad, at all. But THIS one makes mine look bad. Simply exquisite condition! I would call that one, "like new." Just remarkable! Oh, just for kicks, here are two more things you didn't mention between the 95 and 96 that changed for 97:
1) The rear trunk key piece that says, "Lincoln" on yours, was originally a Lincoln emblem that flipped out of the way to reveal the keyhole from 90-96. (This same keyhole cover would have had the Cartier emblem if it were a Cartier trim).
2) The exhaust was trimmed down to a single outlet exhaust for the Executive and Signature Series cars for that year. In 95-96, they would all be dual. Only the Cartier had the duals in 97 (and a couple of "spin-off" packages, such as the Touring Package).
Bonus 3) The center of the door panel between the top part and the part that makes up the armrest, in the 95-96 cars was a type of velour, where on the 97 they changed it to the leathery plastic you see on this one.
Also, and I don't find this much, but I've only seen it on 95 model years only, and not all of them: The outside keyhole for the door lit up with the same green lighting as the Keyless Entry Keypad. Have you seen one that did that, yet? I've seen a number of 95's come through, but I've only seen that on a few of them. Maybe an early model year option only??
Anyway, MARVELOUS car you have/had there! (I see in the description it is sold! Congrats!)
Cheers!
All spot on points! It was the little stuff that people still notice over the years that go away! Keep your TC up, they are classics!
@@specialtymotorcars You bet!
How much$$$. I owned a 93 white loved the space and power.
Asking $8,995
Anthony Gozzo still available?
@@specialtymotorcars Sombody got a real jewel at a great price.
Beautiful car.
For some reason, the wheel rims were also featured on different cars like BMW or the Australian Ford EB Fairmont.
BBS style on those cars, "Geometric Spoke Wheels" for this one. But you are correct.
Awesome
Very clean town car. I prefer the gen 2 also. Want to see a manual transmission conversion one. I'm a fan of silver with gray or tan interior.
Very nice ride Anthony I like the older model cars very roomy and rides great. I just got a 2009 Cadillac DTS with 50,000 miles on it very clean car. Keep the vids coming.
Dts have a Northstar motor one of the worst made by gm trade it in while you have a chance
Hugo Rivera Wrong, by 2009 the kinks had been more than worked out. The head gasket issue was worse from 97-2004. It is not uncommon to see a DTS last far past 200K miles.
Naw i had a 07 dts and it was a complete 🍋 but im not wrong if it has a northstar stay away
Hugo Rivera I’ve had a SLS that got 175,000 miles on it. I didn’t have a head gasket issue that car ran very well it was a 2001 I believe.
@@garyreynolds562 we are just gonna have to agree to disagree if what you said is true you are one of the lucky one but your 09 dts dont compare to a 09 lincoln towncar which have been know to 400,000 miles lincoln makes better cars
Wow had 95 one it was great and beutiful
Great condition.
Such a beautiful car, bet it’s gonna sell fast
Great Car!
