It's just amazing what the passage of time can do. Twenty years ago I never gave these Lincoln Town Cars any notice. Now, thanks to Anthony, I realize that we are all witness to the passing of the Grand American luxury sedan. Like the song says, "you don't know what you've got . . . til it's gone". Thank you, Anthony.
Agree. His videos make me want one. Simple to maintain, awesome cruisers, timeless look.
They are beautiful cars, yet even back then they were way out of my price range.
Same here!
You know what I love about these old gems is they are beautiful and simple. No giant complex screens that you need to scroll through 5 menus just to adjust the fan speed.
This is literally a museum piece what amazing condition absolutely stunning.
Belongs in the Lincoln Heritage Museum for sure!
sold for $45K! That is insane
@@marcusaurelius1477special Ed Anthony here. $800 car for $40 k lol😂
4,800k miles the car is still brand new not even broken in.
The 4.6l can easily run to 300k without a problem. My mother 👩 had a Crown Victoria with this engine that ran over 250k with just a leaking valve cover gasket. 😊
Boy I tell you... you doing mess around when it comes to finding these low mileage precious gems 👍🏾🔥🔥🔥
Hard to believe this car is now 20 years old! Gorgeous 👍
It's 21 now 😮
🎉🎉😂😂iu i❤ wow what a find ! Great work Anthony.
Putting cloths on the lift points shows the ATTENTION to detail!! Absolutely love this!! WOW what a timepiece 🤩
Greetings Anthony & Papa Bear, it amazes me that a 20 year old Lincoln can have such low low miles, but I know they're out there!!! This Cartier edition is absolutely spectacular!!! Thanks once again for sharing this exciting video!!! The wheels look like they just came out of the factory, they're perfect!!! 👍🎄☃️
Hello and thank you Christopher. Yes low low miles, like NEW. Papa 🐻
These cars had one of the best, easiest to work one engines that Ford ever built! Really the only concern was the plastic intakes. They would crack in the back passenger side and leak coolant. Unfortunately replacements are no longer made so if one goes bad on you good luck finding a replacement. On the upside this one here with proper maintenance is a good 300k miles away from that concern. Nice find!
For a car having that few of miles. And almost 20 years old. Very sweet!
💯👍👊
Its fun to listen to Anthony gush over this car, the man loves what he does!
At almost midnight EST on Saturday night bidding is at $25,000. 👍
HKNR ... Just guessing but it's probably assembly workers initials. Anthony, you are 100% correct on this car. It is without a doubt a museum quality car. Quality control markings all over the engine and the under carriage. This car should go to a serious collector who has the financial resources to park this car in a climate-controlled showroom and can take care of it. Please do not sell this car to just anyone I implore you.
Who ever has the cash..... $$$
Make for a nice Airport shuttle
I’d daily it.
@@MrBrianbuschAbsolutely not! It's 100% a collectable!
Honestly, it’s a Panther Criwn Vic with just lots of extras and a smoother, quieter ride. It is NOT a museum piece. It’s a nice car don’t get me wrong but it not going to appreciate in value. Ever. Other than the 50s and early 60s Continentals and convertible Town Cars NO Town Car is collectible. Even the early 70s pre-emission 460-equipped Town Cars with that unique and very cool rusting drum speedometer only bring maybe $20k if they’re in exquisite condition.
It is so obvious how much you love this car by your putting cloths on your lift to protect the underside of this car. Words to describe this Lincoln: perfection, stunning, quality, jaw-dropping, impossible to ever find again, time-travel 20 yrs ago, pride in ownership and build quality, etc. I think God would be pleased to drive or be driven in this car.
I remember sitting in this exact spec, exact year at the Dallas Auto Show when it was new. Fun video.
In 2014 we inherited a Mercury Grand Marquis top of the range sedan. Cheapest car we ever owned as it was gifted by a dying relative. It had 2800 miles on it.
We had owned some serious wheels, American and imports, and my wife still drove a BMW 7 series. I fell in love with that big, lazy V8 the provided the cops and cab companies with vehicles. Nobody under 70 bought a Panther platform Ford unless they owned hire firms or were gangststers.
This is where my wife and I plot views. She disliked it and said I was far too young to drive an outdated car. She would not ride in it if she could avoid it or at the frequent times her BMW was in the shop. ( a monthly occurrence).
Eventually it was traded for the last of the modern T Birds that Ford were clearing for thousand below sticker. Nice little cruiser but cruel to drive on long trips.
I miss those models although some still pay as taxis here or act as dummy cop cars to stop speeding. I am glad to see they are now aging respect for what they are, superb family sedans in the true American tradition. Sadly they are also beginning to sell for more than I can justify these days.
SOLD! $45K wow..congratulations guys.
Animal Blundetto would drive one of these
Already at $22,000 with 6 days to go! It will be interesting to see if it exceeds the holy grail Cadillac Brougham D'Elegance.
I've got an 06 with 50k miles...... always thought that little ticking sound in the motor meant something was wrong. This video and a couple of your other ones let's me know that just a the sound of the 4.6 running beautifully
That's the fuel injectors. I have 2 of these and that is normal operation for these cars.
@@biggtastee2401 preciate ya man such a relief. I thought it was a lifter, some kinda carbon buildup up somewhere. Thanks for taking the time to explain that.
@biggtastee2401 doesn't help with the ethanol blended fuels used all over the northeast. About every 3 to 5 k miles put a injector cleaner/ lubricant in its fuel to calm that sound down. The injectors used in the 4.6l are closely related to the ones used in the diesels. A pintle type injector. 😊
That car is awesome it's amazing it has less miles than the new car I bought 2 months ago, I feel like she belongs in a museum too, one of the greatest cars of the 2000s
I have a 03 Mercury Grand Marquis LS very clean with 138,237 miles. It's so smooth and I get compliments about it all the time. I wish I could purchase this Town Car. It's so beautiful.
You’re gonna make a pretty penny on this one!
Can't believe 20 years the Motorcraft battery still works. Everything is OEM very well kept. Wish the bottom of my Lincoln still looks like that. Best garage/barn find yet.
I put a new Motorcraft Battery in it. That’s not the original
I put a new Motorcraft Battery in it. That’s not the original
Absolutely STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL Anthony. !!! Someone will get a BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN CLASSIC. !!!! Hi Papa, Hope you doing well Sir. !!!!
Hello John thank you, yes doing very good how about yourself? Papa 🐻
Anthony- A great and amazing ‘03 Town car- I cannot believe you had no fuel tank issues- usually you have to dump the tank and gas, I think the color and condition is special from 2003. Thanks for bringing this to us!
Hello from Canada. Exquisite. You are the master. Thank you for recirculating such fine cars into the world for those who can appreciate them.
Absolutely a beautiful example. Thank you for the extension video review. Best of luck at the auction.
Holy COW! WOWZER! That is/was a beauty! I see it's already got a proud owner! I don't know how you find all these beauties Anthony! You're on my list of watching closely, you earned a subscriber when I found you a few weeks ago with that Vibe! Cheers from PA!
My 2006 looks just as nice I have 82k on it, problem is that the insurance company won't insure it for more than blue book, so iif it is stolen or wrecked you are screwd, that it is my worry I could never replace my car for what the insurance would pay me.
You should look into Haggerty and other insurance companies with agreed upon values.
Saying yours looks just as nice , maybe it does , a rather bold statement. Let’s see it!
Collector vehicle insurance.
Damn! Only one week to win the lottery!😮
Truly the ultimate museum masterpiece Lincoln style!!
What a gorgeous Car-T-A town car!
Happy Holidays PA PA Bear and Anthony .
Happy Holidays to you and your FAMILY Bill. Papa 🐻
Just amazing condition!❤
Absolutely stunning car! The only way to this the right way is the bidding process. I'll be following along for sure.
Gorgeous amazing unimaginably fabulous Cartier. As for that beautiful light gray trunk lining, I found one of these in the junk yard and got all the pieces of that lining. My 04 Ultimate L has the less attractive black lining I will change out.
I was ready to give you a call Anthony! Have a 04 ultimate I want to have a better version to have as a show car.
But, you definitely are making a good business decision.
Very nice car!
Should have shown how the trunk closes......double click the trunk button on the key fob and the trunk closes itself....I had this identical Town Car a few years ago.
Awesome
What a purdy ride!! Someone is getting a steal on BAT!!
Enclosed Trailer Queen❤
I never had a brand new car but this is good to see, come very close.
i got one just like it, I love it put a grin on my face every time I drive it just like my Harley, mine has 70,000 mile still feels new
Car is perfect, needs nothing, just plain beautiful. Anthony please don't ever say to be put in a museum. A car is meant to DRIVE, not to look at. Parking in a museum would kill the car, that is why I drive my car (1949 Cadillac) always. My 2002 Ford Excursion diesel 7.3 liter that I bought brand new has 407,500 miles on as now, it is my everyday stop & go local truck, where the Cadillac is my long distant driving car average 400 miles round trip, all highway miles. Love your show always, say high to Papa bear. Bob with the 1949 series 60 special Fleetwood.
Hello Robert great to hear from you. Hope all is good with you? Your right that TC is "perfect". Wow 400k that's excellent you must take good care of it. Papa 🐻
I have one currently a 03 signature but in 03 they had all the options and it’s absolutely flawless. There’s a couple scratches here and there but I wish you were in Florida so you could see this car I don’t even know I buy and sell Lincolns like you do top of the line. This one is really something like your 03 it’s really flawless
Absolutely gorgeous car!!!
i just sold my 03 cartier.. lovely cars
I remember the trip from Michigan to Columbus In our 1983 Continental. It was like we never left home. This was before air bags. It was a very comfortable ride. The trip to Colorado , Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Salt lake City was pretty awesome too. What fun vehicles they were. Iv had three and driven a few others never disappointed. I hope whoever bought this one drives it, thats what they were made to do.
Looks like it just rolled off of the assembly line, Anthony!
I love my 2003
White almost as nice. So many features. I have to look closer under
Only had for 6 weeks
Truly as if untouched by the roads or the elements. Pretty remarkable. Other than something the Lincoln factory may have kept back, this could be a one-off example.
Hell yes. A totally unbelievable vehicle
I'll be sure to see what happens on BAT along with the competition there. Watching. Good luck with the auction.
Love it I have a1995 Lincoln Town Car with Black Leather seats looks great just like the day I got it I didn't let Noone eat or drink in it never had any trouble out of it the color of it is light tan I only drive it on Sundays to church it stays inside the garage still has the original paint job have had people wanting to buy it and I tell them until you see a for sale sign you will know it's not for sale rake it to get clean once a month❤
I hope you can find me a jewel like that next yr, I'll stay in touch 😊
Might not find another with that mileage plus a Cartier.
I guess Buick also borrowed that rain sensing wiper option -I had it on my 2000 Park Ave. 12 years ago , and it's on my current driver -' 04 Lesabre limited. One of many interesting crowd pleaser options that car surprisingly came with that are sort of unique even today🙂 Makes you wonder why Lincoln ever did away with it.....
when we all drive electric shit boxes these will be even more valuable , i heard someone say we are headed for a cuba type car market
Jeeeze what a gem!!..pristine!!!
Wow just wow, beautiful beautiful car
Such an absolutely Beautiful Car - Wish I could afford it !!!!
He I’m thinking of how much the soprano crew would love that trunk space…😐 and I see Paulie and Phil in the comments
I use to work for Budget/Avis Car rental BWI airport in 2008 and this was consider a premium rental these was a pleasure to drive just driving them around d the parking garage.
Lol i bought one of these with 115k for 600 bucks. Freaking love it
What a beauty!!!
Beautiful car!
Speechless..........WoW !!!!!!!!
This is a lovely, lovely car!!
Stunning
Absolutely gorgeous car. I’d love to buy it but alas, I have nowhere to put it.
I have no idea how you find such low mile vehicle or how people have such older vehicles with such low or extremely low miles on them. Why do they even buy the vehicles if their not gonna enjoy them.
Older folks who just drive it around town on nice days to get the groceries.
That's one beautiful 2003 Lincoln Town car in silver Birch I must say I have a 2010 that's almost as clean as that and it only has 80,000 mi of course it's not as clean as that thing is like brand new mine is close to it? I take very good care of it. I just had it detailed about 4 months ago complete and it still the engine and everything looks like brand new people trip out the cars going to be 14 years old and it looks still like new everybody says but $80,000 miles is still pretty low actually 80,864.0 miles
Anthony that thing is gorgeous! I would love to drive that to florida and leave it in my other house ,but my wife thinks it is to big for her to drive.
I purchased the same car in ivory with a blue roof from Delray Lincoln Mercury in Delray Florida off the showroom floor. A little over $62k if i remember correctly. I wish i still had it.
I have a Lincoln town car 2008 it has 650.000 Miles drive perfectly
Beautiful car
Who buys these new and doesn't drive them? Crazy! At least be buried it!!
People with multiple cars
@@floridaman7 "My other car is a Rolls-Royce."
@@eriks9417 ive had up to five cars at any given time. Some of them i put less than 10k miles on it in years. I end up changing the oil once a year.
@@floridaman7- 5….I lost track at a dozen. I’ve got vehicles that I haven’t driven in over 2 years. Nothing wrong with them, just no time to enjoy.
Nice obstacle sensors on the back; these boats needed it
Just amazing
Gorgeous
Nice car 🚗 beautiful!!!!
You can get this amazing car for less then the price of a cheap Hyundai. Crazy 😝. Nice car Anthony.
Just WOW!!!
You got yersrlf a Barrett Jackson timepiece there ❤😊🎉
Super nice.
Hey Anthony! I apologize if this isn’t the best place to ask this but I had the dreaded windshield cowl leak on my 2005 Town Car and now I am facing a rather moldy carpet, specifically the foam underneath. I’m thinking it might be easier to just buy a new carpet than bother cleaning this and I wanted to know if you’d bought one before and what seller you’d recommend. Thank you if you’re able to help!
That car is it's going to go on the high 60s
Just like showroom 🆕👍🏼💯
Very nice indeed.
I guess you sold it? It's now up for auction!
Anthony has the car up for auction, he didn’t sell it yet!
@@rickyn1320 my bad, I just found out when I watched the video. I wish I had the money right now or I would have bid.
stunning!!!! wished my pockets were deep and I could bring it or one of your amazing Cadillacs home...GLWTA
This is a beautiful vehicle. Are you sure the windshield is original? It looks like the rain sensor has been replaced as it has air bubbles in it. I own a auto glass shop and this is a telltale sign that it has been replaced with an OEM windshield at some point, looks like they reused the rain sensor gel pad. I wish these cars came with a center consul in the front dividing the two front seats.
I'll bet it smells like Werther's originals inside. That's not a diss; I'm just sure this was grammy or pappy's Sunday Church cruiser!
YOU GUYS HAVE NICE VEHICLES & LOW PRICES !!!!!💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you Pal. Happy Holidays Pal. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
My favorite car in my favorite color for it with my favorite rims and its of my birth year
One sweet car😁😻
Nothing like the sound of a big V-8 as you take an on-ramp to the interstate. These turbocharged V-6s and 4-cylinders may have the power, but definitely not the feel or the sound
