I have reverently listened to various interpretations of this magnificent work by Bach, but I believe this is one of the best because Bach wrote this composition when he was in his twenties and only a young man can convey the full spectrum of emotions that can be felt at that age very well. there's the dark abysmal depth, there's the sweetness, there's the struggle, and in the end there's the light of triumph and divine majesty. words are not enough to describe its wonder, many thanks to you who have given us these emotions.

.....two beautiful young men well on their way to life long careers, shown here silently working together to create a gorgeous sound.
...when we see so much blight and destruction by the youth in these hollow protests, and here we see dedicated young people creating beauty unseen, through devoted practice and dedication.
When something is right, it’s beautiful to watch.

At my studies I have organ as main subject too, and it's really hard to find other organists you agree with the way you would play it yourself. Iddo does, and I love it listening to him, as I would do things exactly as he does (although technically seen I must continue my studies for playing in that quality).

Extremely good interpretation of this wonderful piece. There was a lightness to it that I think Bach intended whereas many play it as a heavy darker work. The Netherlands certainly seems to be producing a new generation of excellent organists. Bravo.

Chapeau!

Wonderfully played, of course. But I would have preferred more variation in the registration. As played, however, it was very pure and very Dutch.

Jfischer I don’t know...I heard quite a few different changes in registration. Small changes, but I think it was excellent. Not everything must be built up to epic proportions such as Latry on the great organ of Notre Dame.
