i dont see enough comments about the clip of the day. yall rlly think the belmont dair on the missile was more impressive? the technical skill, awareness, and balls required of the mario player to pull off that recovery and reversal off the link bomb is on its own level. been watching yeet smash since the beginning and ive never seen a play that impressive.

i think it's funny how playing Link as he was intended is considered "intelligent" due to the number of people that main Link and don't have any creativity whatsoever

Then when he notices that the third one STILL didn't hit, he strategically dashed back to further corner himself before throwing out a pivot grab to catch the inkling chasing him down. theres been multiple clips of belmont players using dair on a projectile to recover. impressive, but the mario reverse b on the bomb to recover and reverse the edgeguard is on its own level
Good question, I suppose for the most part when it works. Bait requires either conditioning or a trap setup. A read generally comes after a bait and is essentially an educated guess or gamble. A good play is anything that works because if it doesn’t work? Probably not a good play…

Truth is the best links don't compete. I know I pilot better than even the best that do compete but I haven't taken time to try to fit tourneys into my schedule. I just train most of the time and play casually offline. Even the second clip was basic and quite frankly a mistake if you know how we play.

Completely inaccurate to the source material in which the bomb can't be set off early by anything except Sheikah energy lol
