Thank you so much!!!! This was the most simple video ever and covers the basic. Could you do a video that compares the differences between the lens of 18mm-55mm versus 75mm-300mm. I am so new to photography but I do not know whether it is worth buying both of them.
A 18-55 is basically for landscapes, portraits and wideandgles in genral. A 70-300 is a telephoto lens, so good if you want to photograph things at a distance

i love this video i recently got a camera for christmas and i needed help with all the buttons
I did too... trying to figure out how to manual move the exposure level. Bc rn the camera is forcing me to take 3 pictures 1 at (0), 1 at (+1), 1 at (-1)... but I need it to not do that.. I need -3 or +3... just can't get it to adjust.. anyone know how in (m) mode?
@@LadyAdelinda try Drive mode. Select the single shot option.

what’s a good camera for portraits? I have the T6 right now but want to upgrade to a more professional camera. What’s the most affordable one?
I'm using a t6 that school has for yearbook 1st time using it and I noticed when I try to go back and view my pictures on the camera it want display the pictures unless I rapidly press the forward or back buttons. It want just display a image right away when I press the play button.

I find the only downside of the Rebel T6 is no external mic plug area. Still a sweet photo camera cause it takes great photos. The internal mic is adjustable that is a plus as well.
I have the t6 and when it was new and placed on the auto setting, when u held button down it focused and the green dots appeared to say picture was focused (best I can explain). Since I cleared the setting it no longer auto focuses. How do I fix it so it will auto focus?
Just git a canon 1300d and it's my first digital camera ..can you plz show me quick way of using it. But do it a bit slower as you doing to fast for me as a beginner. Thank you. Paul.

When I’m in manual mode on my T7 it won’t show on the display screen unless the flash pops up, how can I view without needing flash to be up?
Well, I really like this video man! But, a small question with this camera about the recording since I do more recording then anything. How do you make it work manually? If you could do a video based on recording features of how to record HD please make a video of this! Also, how to make it focus when you do close ups while recording and anything that is based on that! Nice vid man keep it up!

The settings in my t6 video are also great to use on the T7, only difference is the T7 has slightly better photo capabilities!

What is that - and + dial just above to the record button? What is the purpose of it? Thanks
Karthikeyan S it’s called the “exposure compensation” dial. You use this if you want the cameras auto exposure to read slightly darker (like to take photos of a bright sky) or slightly brighter. The + or - indicates the number or stops, up or down, it will shift exposure in measurements of 1/3rd of a stop of light.
On my T7 no matter what I do it won't let me autofocus and when I try to press the shutter button to auto focus it does nothing but tell me I can't take photos in video mode. I have all the settings at a point where it should work, but no matter what I do this happens every time. I am wanting to start vlogging when I go on vacation in a few weeks, do you think there is any way to fix this or should I just buy a camera better suited for vlogging?
I’d take a look at the lens and make sure it is in the AF position first. If that doesn’t work then there’s something turned off preventing af from working at all. Take some time to dive through the menus. Good luck!

What is the dial next to the eye cup for?
this is called a Diaopter, it is to focus the eye piece when you hold your camera up to your eye!

You covered everything except the mini dial up top. Why does everyone skip over that dial? I'm sure it has a purpose.
Just read the manual and discovered this in another video. That little dial adjusts the clarity of the viewfinder for YOUR vision (especially if you don't have perfect vision). It doesn't focus the camera but helps you see clearly through the view finder. You adjust the dial until the little boxes look sharp.
The bacground muic just makes it harder to hear you and adds nothing good
