I had a Canon A-1. Went kicking and screaming into the digital world. If film was still available and processing too I'd still be using that instead of my T7.

Since I hear MOST video narrators telling me to "GO AHEAD AND SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON", I will no longer "LIKE" any video whose narrator cannot be even a smidge more original than that! I do not need your permission to GO AHEAD and do anything! Call me a party pooper, or any other derogatory term! I just get tired of constantly hearing that same old command!
That is an interesting idea. I think I will try to come up with a more original reminder. Perhaps " if you can please decimate that like button" or " please let that like button know that it is loved and cared for " . Any quirky suggestions?

Does the T7 have a mode for time lapse, star trails, astronomical? What is the the burst mode fps? Some Canons have an "i" suffix, what does that mean?

I just brought one to make video on UA-cam but once I put mine on video mode it shuts down after a few seconds to a minute … is there a certain setting or timer I’m supposed to put it on ?
I just "upgraded" to this as a backup camera., My main camera is a 60D which is much older, however since it is in the higher camera bracket it had some features I wish this one had, such as the swivel screen. I had also hoped this would have had higher ISO then my 60d which is does not. I do like the canon connect so I can use my phone as a view finder that is the only reason I kept this camera. I am hoping it will make getting my night sky photos easier. Thanks for all the insight

Hey River I just bought, what I thought was, a T7 but Amazon shipped me a 2000D. Found that's the European version of the American T7. I noticed that it doesn't have the option you spoke about which is the 30fps for video. Is this a big deal breaker or not so much?
which frame rates does it have? Look through the menu and see if you can change it from PAL to NTSC and it will work like mine. Personally I don't think you need 30fps unless you want the video/ home movie look. Most people refer 23fps
I use the t-7 as a "workhorse" in the field and my studio...no complaints in 3 years. This is a great tutorial for someone who is not used to starting with a digital camera. Shoutout to jwstudios photography!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If u make adjustments to the menu of let’s say on manual and you already made adjustments and then u switch it to movie mode will the adjustments stay in manual mode and it won’t affect any other mode?Like you can just make your own adjustments in each mode and it won’t change another mode if u switch to another mode?so like you can just go to that mode and u don’t have to make the adjustments over and over again

I got my T7 for Christmas 2023, I've used it on auto mode for the last 3 school events to get pics of my kids. The insane amount of multi-functionality feels overwhelming for someone who has only ever used disposable and phone camera.

*Im a youtuber tryna jump start my famlily channel and this was real helpful, I usually skip through these kinds of videos or figure it out myself but I plan to do a couple things with my Ct7 so thanks, my only problem is I used 2 different hdmi cords from canon to macbook and none of my videos or photos came up, I ended up downloading Eos Utility 3 for my camera to macbook but the download images to computer part isn't working when I try to install the what I need it says " Install will damage computer. " now after that I seen a video and tried connection my phone wifi to my camera to get my videos that way but it only worked photos, I still can't get my videos of my camera and I'm going on vacation it would be fun to figure it out real soon. Totally lost! Hahaha! I have Samsung Note 20 Ultras. They have a 50x zoom, and to me, they're not bad. I thought the telescopic lense on the T7 zoomed 300x. NOT!! I was taking some shots at people on the beach, and the cellphone was giving me better close-up (much closer, close-up) photos than the t7. Disappointing. Is there a lense that actually has a 300x zoom that would provide a photo better than the Note 20? Or do I need a Hubble? Hahaha!
Do they have a Gimbal type holder for shooting video mode for the T7? All I seem to find is for GoPro type cameras. Any suggestions or do they have such a thing?

I just bought this camera. However it won’t let me shoot in Raw and that’s what was recommended to always shoot in, what do I do?
I couldn't find the link in the description for the deluxe cinestyle plugin, but i just went ahead and google.
