@@afg1951lash whats going on! I’m about to graduate from the 35G course in two weeks, the demand is looking really strong! On the flip side I love being a Golf! We can’t really say much what we do because 95% of what we do Is strictly classified. Curious to know how Army 35G AIT is compared to Air Force 1N1 Tech School. I bet the Army takes training more seriously and are probably better trained overall.
Looking at imagery and geospatial information using software, and then answering specific requirements or requests as it relates to a place or activity. The field is very broad and a GEOINT analyst in one location won't be necessarily using the same type of imagery or geospatial information as an analyst somewhere else. The 35G schoolhouse will provide the necessary training to get you off to a good start. Can't really say much beyond that, but it's a great field that is constantly evolving and has civilian sector job security. Granted, you'll do the technical side of your job more in some military assignments than others.
It depends on the unit your assigned, what’s going on in the military world and how good you are at your MOS. Like the guy below said you can end up PMCSing trucks all day or you can be assigned to a special task force like myself.
