i need to comment on this, i doubt anyone will read it idk why, but im feeling something weird, i was just seeing some of the more emotional flashes in Karkat Goes To A Convention (no spoilers here tho), checking if Cole had updated it, and i remembered a song from Homestuck, and i wanted to find it. and ended up seeing Gold Pilot again, its been a long while since i listened to it i read homestuck in 2020, (srry new reader stuff lolol.) and sure sometimes i felt the retroactive FOMO of not having been there when it was being written, but i overcame that. Homestuck's cool, i like it, thats kinda most of what i have to say rn, this isnt that much about homestuck. as after after 10 seconds into Gold Pilot, staring at the coloUrs and mayhem Universe A cover, i started feeling this weird feeling, its not catharsis, similar but not quite it; its not really sad, its not happy either; the best way i can describe is that its a very "human" feeling. having trouble identifying it. i guess just, the relationship between humans and art and fiction is just really strange
My favorite song from Colours and Mayhem Universe A. One of the best by far. Shame that it wasn't fully animated in the update. But then again, the fact that Hussie used your song to an [S] update probably was one of the coolest moments ever. Still wish it was fully animated though.
He still puts out music on occasion - he's on Soundcloud (also as First Turn Fold). Not Homestuck stuff, but also good; I recommend Trick-Ride, Eighteen Thirty Hours, and Up And To The Right.
This song is actually one of the main reasons I love Homestuck. I love its epic feel, glitchy effects and sad melodies. Comibined together, this is a masterpiece! The song's ending deserves a separate award xD
This is one of the most beautiful tracks ever in Homestuck, how you've worked with the rhythm, the combination of the stings and the xylophone (?) reflect so well the duality within The Psiioniic, but Bec Noir as well, it's, in my opinion, a masterpiece. Absolutely perfect. It's so ironic that it suits The Psiioniic perfectly even tough you made it for Beckerel. I thought I loved "Purple Bard" the most, but this is seriously my favorite one, plus, I think I like The Psiioniic a bit more than before lol.
I like Purple Tyrant quite a bit, but that’s mostly because I have it associated with something else I like. Gold Pilot is definitely my favorite on pure quality.
Listeened to all Homestuck, Hiveswap and all LoFaMs(I can't say I've listened to all the fan music that exists but that's a substantial amount) and this still remains my favorite song. The beats, the use of the repeater on everything, the choice of instruments and the overal melody somehow makes the song feel motivating, sad, hopeful, dramtatic, yet lighthearted and that's just amazing. Something is just fantastic about it. 10/10 would listen on repeat for hours Also, which genre does this count as, I have no idea.

Dude, your music is simply amazing..... The way you use and mix each sound and make them complement each other creating even more sounds is amazing!! All that while keeping their own distinct place in the music, each one of the sounds that bring the song together seem so perfect and carefully fitted in it, none of them seem more important than the others, each have their own space to be heard and they never seem repetitive since their always shifting and combining in incredible ways. It doesn't end there your song just keep on adding, changing and inovating in so many ways and the transitions are done in such a smooth way that its mesmerizing too hear. Most music are made of only a handful of sounds, they end up overusing some of them while keeping others on the shadows of the song. They think that just having a good "drop" (which, in my humble opnion,is just a really bad transition) or repeated catchy beats will make it good, but it just makes it less interesting and easily predictable... Your songs are so unpredictable that i just don't know what to thing of whats coming next, i simply want keep on listening to it, and i guess thats the problem of your song... when it ends :C Its just like what Drakatha1337 said "You are one of the most criminally under appreciated [and known] artist I have ever seen in my entire life." I feel really bad, because I used to kind of tune out during this song when I listened to coloUrs and mayhem Universe A, but when it actually played in the flash, I finally listened to it all the way through. It's a great song that I ended up having fun writing a story around (Not a homestuck one though) As for the "Missing Four Minutes," I'd love to see how they fit, as the song can at times be... maybe not "Happy" but peaceful, and considering the few glitch panels we got, it wouldn't fit.

I feel really bad, because I used to kind of tune out during this song when I listened to coloUrs and mayhem Universe A, but when it actually played in the flash, I finally listened to it all the way through. It's a great song that I ended up having fun writing a story around (Not a homestuck one though)
As for the "Missing Four Minutes," I'd love to see how they fit, as the song can at times be... maybe not "Happy" but peaceful, and considering the few glitch panels we got, it wouldn't fit.
