the thumbnail is what hooked me the content is what kept me, excellent video as always guys, been having fun with the hunters lately hit hard die easy.
I personally like Azog's Hunters! It hits hard, makes for quick games (a nice way of saying that it dies easy), it has some fun alliances, and its heroes are all quite good for the points they cost. I'm actually playing an 800 point list that allies Moria just so I can have Azog and a dragon in the same list.
@@metascrub285 I originally built the list with a lot of cavalry, and I was playing against a friend who made the comment "why don't you just bring a bunch of Hunter Orcs?" And at first I was like "but the warg riders???" But then I realized that they are just so good on foot. I recommend bringing a few of wash riders but prioritize the hunters on foot and a handful of them with two handed picks
@@ryanhenderson225 yeah I was already about to do that. Only gonna bring the heros on wargs and 5-6 wargs, the rest are all gonna be on foot, the two attacks on foot make them budget cav.
I recently brought my Helm's Guard LL to an escalation tournament. Running Helm with 3 King's Huntsmen at 800 points is just so much fun, sniping horses/dunedain and making your opponent so scared to get close to 25+ throwing spears :D
Used to play Azog's Legion a lot and it's really fun, so I'm glad to see it at the 2nd spot! Big shame that lots of the toys in the list aren't the most competitive options, but they're fantastic models that are definitely some of my favourites in the range!
Evil will always triumph, because good is dumb! But in seriousness, there's more fun models to paint in the evil range if you like exotic stuff. Trolls, wargs, spiders, ghosts, dragons, giant elephants, etc. Good can't compare!
huzzah for dunland!! really fun particularly vs rohan. great match vs defenders or theodred. all your heroes have roles, that they are good at, but none of them really step outside those to overlap/overpower. heaps of might, decent numbers, hits really hard( potential turn of autowounds vs rohan) but killable at D5 and down. nothing oppressive for your opponent but still strong enough for you as well. as shown by the top ten evil glass cannon murderfests are just freakin fun. almost always close games, often won (or lost) by heroes pulling off something cool.

Azog & Smaug junior 😂😂
I just started to build azog hunters, those orcs hunters with 2 attacks at strength 4 and 50 percent bows looks fun, the army hits hard af.

I agree. Nothing cool comes out of good armies. Really just an army of men.

“Glass cannon murder fest” 😁 You make me want to finish my Dunland army!

Let’s gooo dunland!
Evil has smaug. He's the biggest baddest monster of monsters.
So wouldn't Ian's pick be Rohan as Theodreds Guard is a LL 🤪
We counted Legendary Legions as a separate "army" :)
Pffftt cheaatting 😝 hahaha. Nah i get that they do have some different rulings to them. Good watch, enjoyable!@@intothewestpodcast
And where did you post this poll?
In a community post here on the channel, as well as a Facebook posts and direct messages!
Azogs legion is surprising for me because it's so straight forward imo. I don't think I'd find that army fun.
As long as it's not vanquishers it's fun
😂 maybe we should do a most oppressive list...
Any army Richard puts across the table form me gets my vote for most UNfun army. Damn Watcher in the Water......
I'm sad to hear you didn't enjoy our game... :(
I thought win or lose, it was a nail-biter!

@@intothewestpodcast not enough elves.
I'm surprised there are 10+ armies
There's 50+ easy now including LLs!
