People who don't bake don't understand fondant is needed to make many decorations. Yes, some things, like flowers can be made with buttercream but that would be difficult when making a 3D decoration

Hey dude, quick baking question? Why do you cut the straws when you put together the tiers? If you want to hold them together, shouldn't they be longer? PLEASE ANSWER THO.
The straws are there to support the weight of whatever is stacked on top, not to hold the cakes to center. You can use a long dowel to do that, but in most cases if the cake is not more than 3 tiers, you really don't need it.
And I think it's extremely rude to keep going on a person's page, talking about and begging for someone else to be there. They don't work for the same company. Give it a rest!

I live this cake. It is awesome. So pretty. I do cake decorating every now and then and I always work with buttercream icing. Never really worked with fondant. But I may just really put my decorating skills to a test and attempt this cake, except a little smaller.

I found this guy two days ago, and I was like he's pretty cool. I watched a couple of videos, but I expected to lose interest after the third one or so. Nope. Seriously, watching him make a cake is comparable to the way I feel when I listen to soothing music. I've spent over an hour today, an hour that I will never get back, watching this man decorate cakes. I honestly have no regrets. PS. Love the camera crew.
That cake is so pretty!! I love cherry blossom trees! Another one of my favorite cakes was the unicorn reindeer cake!! I love baking but I have yet to make a real cake with frosting. I just love the whole process of mixing everything together and putting it in the oven.
