This song is actually circa 1972/1973. It was realeased as a single and was intended for their unreleased album "A Kick In The Head is Worth Eight in the Pants". Early 70s is one of my favorite era of Bee Gees - a lot of underrated music in that era. Of course 90s Bee Gees is good too. Try somehting from the "Size Isn't Everything" album like maybe "For Whom The Bell Tolls" (ballad) or "Kiss of Life" (rockish - great video). Or from the "Still Waters" album, like maybe "I Surrender" or "Alone".
Yes, this was very early Bee Gees. I like every era of them from the 1960’s-2,000’s! Alan was with The Bee Gees as their l as guitarist for years and years!❤
This is a perfect example of why I keep telling people the Bee Gees are so much more than disco. So many hidden gems in their catalog. Thanks for your reaction.
So viele viele Songs die du noch vor dir hast. Und jeder Song ist eine Überraschung. Ich wünsche dir viel Spaß. Ich höre sie seit über 50 Jahren. Und das jeden Tag. ❤❤❤
@watchbizmatik You want to do some “hidden” gems from The Bee Gees? Try: Subway 1976 Kiss of Life 1993 (Alan plays a mean guitar solo and Robin takes the main lead here) Wind of Change, 1975 (and the live from the midnight special is great) Love So Right, 1976. To me, this is one of Barry’s best falsetto leads ever) Bodyguard , 1989. To me, this was one of the best leads by Robin, and this song was a map to the 1990 R&B songs that came out in the 90’s. Then, if you want to see the last performances of The Bee Gees, try the 2001 live version of “This is Where and Came In”.
Great songs. Also, Living Eyes. I Can't See Nobody. And The Sun Will Shine. Wedding Day. Tomorrow Tomorrow. Alive. When He's Gone. Mr Natural. The Edge Of The Universe. Rings Around The Moon. Morning Of My Life. Closer Than Close. Man In The Middle. Someone Belonging To Someone. Ordinary Lives. Children Of The World. Spirits Having Flown. Blue Island. Your Love Will Save The World. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow. Heart Like Mine. The Only Love. Shine Shine. My World. Tokyo Nights. Juliet. World. I Saw A New Morning. Run To Me. Don't Forget To Remember. Holiday. First Of May. Love Me Please. You Win Again. Alone. One.
I love this song! ❤ I like it when they share the lead. I enjoyed your commentary. I like when you read & comment on the lyrcs. ❤ Please react to: "Rings Around the Moon" ( not the funeral video though), "And the Sun Will Shine" ( Melbourne 1974 video), and "Embrace", "Saw a New Morning" and "Alive"!!!!!! Im exited just thinking about these song! They are all great!
Their music is like a diary of their lives. They broke up, got back together, had a couple of quick hits and then were in what they called the Pop wilderness, needing new inspiration. All of them had dreams of going solo. Listen to the words. Most likely about their breakup as a group. They didn’t know if their career was over, but still had a dream and a manager that believed in them. So glad they didn’t give up!
Where you been Biz? You must be good; i missed you. I think only 22 people in the USA know this song. So quick Cliff notes on this period of BeeGees...1971 how can you mend a broken heart 1972 Lonely Days 1973 Run to me and My World. Robert Stigwood owned the BeeGees and said, "this album you guys did, sucks. Putrid smelling garbage that I'm not gonna spend a dime on." The name of that album was "A kick in the head is worth eight in the pants" this song was on that album that was never released. The BeeGees next attempt was the album, "Mr. Natural" right before they took over with "Main Course." (Phew!)
As other has said, this is not 90's but from 1973. The Tales of the Brothers Gibb set is a compilation of their songs from 1967 to 1990 and also on the last disc some Live recordings.
This isn't 90s BeeGees. This is very early 70s. From the album a Kick in the head is worth 8 in the pants. Trust me 90s BeeGees sound much different. You want 90s BeeGees try When he's gone, For whom the bell tolls, and Alone

IMO The Bee Gees were at their songwriting best in the early 70's before their disco phase.
👌💪👍
Please reaction Queen - Liar Live at the rainbow 🥺🥺😅🥰🙏
