- I decide to finally talk about my 2013 KTM 690 Duke. I am no bike builder, but I had a vision after seeing a few really awesome Tracker style bikes. I knew I wanted one, and wanted to build one myself, but I did not want to spend a ton of time, or money on it.
I did my best to re use what I could, and do as little fab work as possible. I think the final product came out pretty sweet and it is even more fun to ride!

I'm a 690 owner too, but I have some questions.
How do you see traffic behind you without mirrors? It's pretty hard to turn your head 180 degrees with a full-face helmet on.
Without the rear guard, don't you get lots of water and road grime splattered up your back when it rains?
Nice K&N pod filter, but wouldn't it get filled with water and dirt which gets thrown it it from the rear wheel? I know that part of my bike gets plenty of dirt flung at it, even in light rain.
Perhaps you plan on making a rear fender to keep the weather out, I'm not sure.
I like the concept, and keen to see how it turns out!
What did you use to map the ECU ?
Did not see a Power Commander or a Rapid Bike Module or any of that in there.

If you did not re map and changed the intake and exhaust... It will run like sh!t.
