it is *not* a craft, at least not initially! it only has become so because when it’s pretty, people want to show it off more than when it’s simple and practical (and personal). nothing wrong about showing off a little work of art paired with practicality, but i can see there is a misconception about what a bujo is nowadays
@@misfitmia I would love for you to design my journalling templates, haha! :-) there is a perfeftionistc side of me that paralyzes me when I do these things :-)
BRAIN DUMPING is a game changer. It gives room for continuous inspiration and creativity, as well as preventing forgetfulness. Awesome Video Lavendaire. Have a great day everyone.
I do use sundays to organize my week, and every 1st of month to make monthly organization. I mostly use my schedule i try to bring with me everywhere to remind me what i was supposed to do that day. If urgent tasks "appear" (life is life, you'll always have urgent tasks and sudden events you cannot control) i set them on notepads on my planner with details. Also if i don't do a certain task i have written i try to analyze why and if i really needed to do it so i just move that task or cancel it. What works most for me is having an app called "Listing it!", is very simple and for making lists. I have a "bucket of ideas" where i empty everything that i should recall doing in the future or simply ideas so i get them out of my head and always remember them. If it's something i have to do i write it on my planner, if it's a future idea i write it on the specific notebook (i have one for my business, one for art project and one for health the i check every month). It's the system i got when i was in my peak of depression and now i'm managing my own business thanks to that. In fact my friends gave me a planner for my birthday back then and i couldn't be happier, oh god, best present ever. I was super happy with my planner cause for me having a planner is like a reminder i have fun things and work to do and why i should be keep living. It might sound silly but it makes sense to me 'kai? xD Anyway this year i wanted to make some balance between work and fun/art and that's my motto for the year and thanks to your artist of life workbook i can keep track on what i really want to do and, mostly, track my routines and health/joy/productivity.
"if i don't do a certain task i have written i try to analyze why and if i really needed to do it so i just move that task or cancel it." THIS is gold. Sometimes my task is too big--I need to break it up. Sometimes it's just something I don't like to do--call people on the phone, for example.
I’ve always struggled with being disorganized and easily overwhelmed. I’m almost 30 and planning on going back to school so I’m so glad these resources and tips are available for people like me! Thank you 😌
GREAT CONTENT!! Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort. You see, in life, lots of people know what to do, but few people actually do what they know. Knowing is not enough! You must take action.
it's about *HAVING A PURPOSE* and *LOVE* what we do so so much, doing things not just because we have to but because they *bring* JOY into our lives, it's about living more *intentionally and purposely* every day, making each day count, enjoying this *wonderful* life experience !!!!
My current productivity system includes: Notion and A planner. And I linked my google calendar and email to my iCal and apple mailing system. It’s quite lovely.

I started put my bullet journal open on the table in the side of my bed, with my water, pills. So every night I see it and plan my next day, and every morning I know everything I have to do. It's the only thing that works for me.
I really love stacking two habits together so I can get something productive done but also build a habit I enjoy, like cleaning and listening to educational podcasts.
Hey so, from a guy who's really struggling with his Adult ADHD Symptoms, this is my first time watching this and I just want to say thank you. Thank you for actually taking the time to teach us humans who otherwise didn't have the Resources, Knowledge or Instinctual realization in their childhood to have a great handle on these kind of organization skills how to do so, in such a concise, structured and easily digestible fashion. I'm currently on my own personal path to self improvement and it's been a arduous road to becoming the human I envision my self as but this was incredibly helpful to the point I felt leaving a comment was necessary lol I don't really leave much of these. ANY WHO, lol Thank you so much, Hope this channel makes it to 10M one day super useful stuff!
One of the things that makes me happy the most is writing down my thoughts and plans in life. And achieving those one by one, though it's not the fastest pace, the feeling it gives me everytime I cross out those things I wrote down on my list whenever I have finally received or achieved them is really satisfying. Writing is also my best therapy. I can write down all the things that makes me happy and the things that make me cry. Even my secrets, lol. I love the feeling of connecting to myself. ❣️

3 months ago, I was burn out, unmotivated and feeling so lost in life. One of your videos about "what to do when you feel like doing nothing" was something that pulled me out of that dark place. I tried to be kind to myself, I told my parents that about life plans that they didn't expect me to change (aka studying for the boards). But then here I am a few months later to watch this video once again to guide me in this time in my life, wherein I've been accepted for a new job. I finally feel like I have direction in my life. Thank you lavandaire, for all your videos. You don't know how inspiring they are and how much lives they touch.
Your comment about bullet journaling just shows how much the idea of what a bujo is has changed, and we forget what it initially was! Bullet journaling is actually meant to be super simple and really practical! I can’t believe I’m here saying this, because I genuinely only started (quite randomly) bullet journaling a week ago... But here I am! I think it’s easy to scroll through Pinterest and look with envy at beautiful, artistic spreads and believe that we want to do the same. But that’s not true, at least not for me. I realize I am much more productive and organized using a planning system where I can see what events I have coming up as well as a simple to-do lists and tasks to cross off that I can spread throughout my week. I forget less, I use my phone less, I am motivated to get things done instead of procrastinating them 5ever... Bullet journaling truly doesn’t have to be creative. It can be a really nice creative outlet, of course, however the risks I see in that for me is that it will require much more time to set it up, and I know the perfectionist in me will get frustrated that it doesn’t look pretty like other people’s bujo so I will just give up. I’d say: start with the original bujo system, test it, find what works for you and make it your own as you go!
Before my stroke, I was able to manage my time like a boss. Now, not so much! Brain-dumping is fantastic advice, but I would advise notating exactly when and getting disciplined about where you make your notes. If you're like me, grabbing spare bits of paper from anywhere and everywhere, then you just have paper clutter to sort ha ha! So, keeping notes electronically is top shelf (yet to find a good App for this), as is "economy of movement"; to the best life will allow, batching tasks according to their category. I'll probably revisit these, bcs I find sorting emails (and most things) so hard, but it sounds good - Eisenhower technique is familiar but also needs getting used to again. I like the idea of an Admin day and sorting day's activities out the night before. All worth another look - thanks so much ♡! Oh, also, picking one's battles is imperative!!😉
Can I just say how happy I am to have found your channel! I first started off with your guided affirmations, and then I realized all the topics you discuss, and I desperately need help organizing, and being productive in my life with a husband and five children! Thank you so much! You are a Godsend!!!!
Yes, I love how you said it is all about being effective and productive! Distinguishing between events and tasks is a great tip! Figuring out a priority order is what helps me the most. My to-do list used to be overwhelming but I really try now to be real about what is accomplishable, and what is just clutter. Beautiful video!
I have the galaxy fold 4 and it is finally the perfect digital planner for me and my life. it's a notebook I always have. I can freewrite with the pen. and I can use voice assistant to add to my calendar while I'm on the go or preoccupied with other stuff. Digital planners with the ability to edit and get creative in my free time is my personal favorite
My current system: using Google calendar to plan out my week, and bullet journaling for keeping track of my tasks, ideas, and reflection. I love the flexibility of bullet journaling, and the Google calendar gives me structure to the system--it's also nice that it syncs to my school/work schedule. I like your tip of batching similar tasks together to improve work flow! I'll try to start doing that as well. Thank you for this video :)
I'm from Uruguay and I'm waiting my lavendaire create, green notebook and the 2020 planner! Sooo excited for them to arrive! My boyfriend got me those for my birthday 14/February. 💙😍
I am not at all organised and I decided today to pull my finger out and do something about it!! Yours was the first video that I clicked on! Thank you so much it’s Awsome!!! I know I have a long way to go to get myself organised but my journey starts with you! Thank you for sharing this great information! Matt x
my current system: - simple spiral bound month & daily agenda for school assignments and general planning - apple calendar as it's easy to use and access on the go [i usually use this when out and about then transfer into my planner] - limiting my online time and making sure im living in the now :)
I need to be consistent in organizing my to do list every day with my calendar. seriously. thank you Aileen. I need it in my new place with my new lifestyle to simply follow a daily to do activity.
You always give the best tips in such a short amount of time! I know the part where people explain about their sponsers, viewers usually don't like to watch those, but I love how you just flow into the topic of your sponsers so easily and you only talk about it for a short amount of time and then get back to where you were. Thanks for the effective tips!!
Yes! It’s always great to create space for you to figure out a strategy that works for you! It’s okay to try different methods as well. Definitely don’t overwork yourself! The less jam packed your mind is, the better and more effective you can be. From a self love content creator to another- love this video, very informative ! 💜

I write my stuff out and put a line through it when it's done. Then I re-write whatever I didn't get to for next day. Sometimes I add in positive sayings for self to make me feel good. Other times I add a goal for the day or week if I can.
I love Trello, I just started using it now and it is so good! I love it so much! I have a business that I want to start (as a child) and Trello really helps me to plan out what I need to do! Also I only uploaded 1 UA-cam video and I plan to do more and I did not know how to organize my up coming UA-cam life and Trello is just the place!
I love using: 1. Google calendar 2. Days layout notebook 3. Small notebook to write about some learning courses or other information/details about tasks 4. Analog calendar to write events and time 5. Use "POMODORO" Way of studying or doing things. I hope everyone can do what is important on time!🌻🙏🏽🍀
Needed this video! I have been struggling lately with staying focused, organized, and on top of things. I have been trying to figure out what changes I need to make to fix all of that so that I can have a healthy, productive, and successful 2021 and beyond. This video is very helpful. Thanks so much!
Love messages of balance. It's so important and so underrated! Couldn't get by without my bullet journal. Everything goes in there. Usually everything does start in my phone's notes app and migrates into my bullet journal, but I definitely need a regular time to devote to that migration!

Wow Aileen, you have almost 1 million subscribers!! Im so proud of you! I remember when i first subscribed like 3 years ago, i was desperate to get my life together and your channel has helped me so much during this on going process! Thank You💜
almost all of your videos are such great resources in their own right, Aileen, and i’m so grateful for the insights and wisdoms you share via these offerings! thank you! 💜💜💜💜
This was so inspiring to me, I know that this was posted a little while ago, but in lockdown and everything I have really been needing a hand with productivity!
NUMBER 10 is counter-productive for me! If i spend the evening planning my next day, my brain will go to sleep while subconsciously continuing to plan, visualise and trying to deal with issues. That will lead to very little rest and a mostly unproductive next day. There must be an adaptation for this tip for anxiety ridden people like me.
Thank you, thank you thank youu!! This video and all the tips really helped me a lot!! I was struggling and not being prepared of what to do in my everyday life. I know, I'm just a minor and yet I'm preparing to make myself productive as early as now, so that I'll make good habits in my life.. I sometimes have a bad memory when reminding myself in doing my requirements. And i sometimes procrastinate or cram hehe. And being not organize that much.. I usually use keep notes or routinery in my pc to take down my goals instead of writing them down in a paper. 😔😔
I agree with your suggestion of "Brain Dumping", This allows you to manage how many active things you keep in your Brain. For Bullet Journaling, I use an erasable notebook called Everlast Rocketbook + erasable pen - can be just for taking notes or notes can be uploaded to email, Google Drive, Dropbox and many other options via a smartphone camera picture. The smartphone picture can also be OCR via the Rocketbook app. This product is like a 40 page whiteboard for your notes.
The yin and yang concept was really helpful. Too much busy-ness is bad but too much relaxation can be not as great either. Also yes to writing everything down lol
I'm 20 and currently trying to find and create my dream life. You're really inspiring .I've learn a lot with your channel. Admiring you all the way from Philippines.
I personally love the reminders app on the iphone, you can set reminders at a certain time you need to do something (i.e. an appointment). Can also make to do lists and for different categories! I also love the iPhone calendar 📅 for an overview of events to quickly reference. Thirdly love the moleskin weekly planner!!
Love the tip of taking time for an admin day or a rest day. It just helps to pull everything together for the week to come, a fresh start:) Great video and fantastic advise, Cheers!
For those who want to repeat watching this video - forget about 1-2 things from this video - want to re-watch to apply these tips in reality: 1. Give yourself a space to get organized [0:50] - Bonus: *set an admin day [1:17] *Balancing: Yin & Yang energies [1:56] 2. Keep things out of your head [2:55] 3. Build a system you can trust [3:54] 4. Understanding events vs tasks [6:48] 5. Batch similar tasks together [7:33] 6. Do the most important tasks first [9:26] 7. Use the Eisenhower Matrix [10:26] 8. Schedule time to make plans [11:22] 9. Process all of your life inboxes regularly [12:04] 10. Plan your day the night before [13:24]
Wow! Pretty early🥺 on a more productive note, this is exactly what I needed to reminded of after a very very hectic examination schedule. Funny how time zones and fate work!
My personal favorite for organization is a simple excel file, because you can change, switch, comment, colorize, etc your informations so eaily. I tried for years all kind of things like calenders and special apps, but you can put them all in one excel file (just use different sheets!).

Hi Nena good to see you here too 😄
Simple Happy Zen ♥️ 😊😊😊
I have the galaxy fold 4 and it is finally the perfect digital planner for me and my life.
it's a notebook I always have. I can freewrite with the pen. and I can use voice assistant to add to my calendar while I'm on the go or preoccupied with other stuff.
Digital planners with the ability to edit and get creative in my free time is my personal favorite
My favorites systems:
- Evernote
- Bullet Journal
- Google Keep
I am so thankful for your videos! I learn english with them and learn how to organize. Thanks for everything! Stay as you are!!!! 💗
The way you say "Helllo my loves 💓💞" is so adorable !🌸🌼
My favorite productivity app is Notion. It's amazing, I use it for everything!
I love how you highlighted the point of bullet journaling, I bet that's one of the points I like doing.
Matt x
my current system:
- simple spiral bound month & daily agenda for school assignments and general planning
- apple calendar as it's easy to use and access on the go [i usually use this when out and about then transfer into my planner]
- limiting my online time and making sure im living in the now :)
Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video Lavendaire❤
Yes! It’s always great to create space for you to figure out a strategy that works for you! It’s okay to try different methods as well.
Definitely don’t overwork yourself! The less jam packed your mind is, the better and more effective you can be.
From a self love content creator to another- love this video, very informative ! 💜
Thanks for sharing! I'm a new subscriber. I'm a full time manager, a full time homeschool teacher, a full time student and a single mom.
I'm putting these tips into practice immediately. 🙂🤗
I write my stuff out and put a line through it when it's done. Then I re-write whatever I didn't get to for next day. Sometimes I add in positive sayings for self to make me feel good. Other times I add a goal for the day or week if I can.
We are so close to 1million😭😍🤗🤗
I love Trello, I just started using it now and it is so good! I love it so much! I have a business that I want to start (as a child) and Trello really helps me to plan out what I need to do! Also I only uploaded 1 UA-cam video and I plan to do more and I did not know how to organize my up coming UA-cam life and Trello is just the place!
I love using:
1. Google calendar
2. Days layout notebook
3. Small notebook to write about some learning courses or other information/details about tasks
4. Analog calendar to write events and time
I had that same problem too! Are you in college?
Love messages of balance. It's so important and so underrated! Couldn't get by without my bullet journal. Everything goes in there. Usually everything does start in my phone's notes app and migrates into my bullet journal, but I definitely need a regular time to devote to that migration!
You are so calming. I love watching your videos when I'm feeling overwhelmed and stressed. You help me get centered! I subscribed 🥰
Starting early is the best way of getting ahead to build wealth, investing remains a priority. The stock market has plenty of opportunities to earn a decent payouts, with the right skills and proper understanding of how the market works!
I strongly recommend Mr Harvey.barrett.Fx all beginners who have traded and lost or even scammed. Trust me he will help you recover your lost and even make you more profit.
I'm interested in this stock market but I don't know how to come about it. Any advice?
How can I get mentored and is Mr Harvey. Barrett Fx really legit?
Wow Aileen, you have almost 1 million subscribers!! Im so proud of you! I remember when i first subscribed like 3 years ago, i was desperate to get my life together and your channel has helped me so much during this on going process! Thank You💜
I don’t know how changed into this really organized person and this video helped a lot I saved it to my camera roll.
Ty!
Put "productivity" into search and this was the first video. Good kick start for me!
almost all of your videos are such great resources in their own right, Aileen, and i’m so grateful for the insights and wisdoms you share via these offerings! thank you! 💜💜💜💜
This was so inspiring to me, I know that this was posted a little while ago, but in lockdown and everything I have really been needing a hand with productivity!
This video has the best advice I've ever heard on UA-cam.
Thank you Lavendaire, its great that you mix several methodologies as "getting things done" and make them so simple!!
Thomas has his own UA-cam channel with plenty of organisation/productivity tips !
Love you Aileen! You the only one who make me wanna get up and do something with my life! EDIT: love your hair!
Scorpio warrior I'm here before 1.1k likes 😂
@@acthebee175 lol
I love watching like how to get organise with your life all the time it keeps me doing more focus
i appreciate you 💓
NUMBER 10 is counter-productive for me! If i spend the evening planning my next day, my brain will go to sleep while subconsciously continuing to plan, visualise and trying to deal with issues. That will lead to very little rest and a mostly unproductive next day. There must be an adaptation for this tip for anxiety ridden people like me.
I feel you. In situations like this, feel free to tweak the strategies in your favor. Being flexible really helps :)
I just wanna tell you how you make me wanna be positive and successful 😊 you're full of joy
he way you engage with your audience is amazing. You make learning fun!
So like I’m binge watching all of your videos because I love your aesthetic and I need to get my life together
The yin and yang concept was really helpful. Too much busy-ness is bad but too much relaxation can be not as great either. Also yes to writing everything down lol
Just starting my journey on this path after many failures, many of which can be attributed to poor time management.
Great video. Thank you!

Wow! Pretty early🥺 on a more productive note, this is exactly what I needed to reminded of after a very very hectic examination schedule. Funny how time zones and fate work!
I have just discovered you at 2 am. Very inspiring!
My personal favorite for organization is a simple excel file, because you can change, switch, comment, colorize, etc your informations so eaily. I tried for years all kind of things like calenders and special apps, but you can put them all in one excel file (just use different sheets!).
